- UTA allows you to define alerts for UTA routes and stops; get a notification when a vehicle on a specific route is approaching or arriving at a particular stop.

TRACKING
UTA's buses and trains report their locations every 15 seconds (Flex routes are not included).

- Put in a route number and see all vehicles on that route, put in a stop number to see all buses serving that stop, or put in an individual vehicle number (printed inside and on the back of UTA buses).
ROUTE SCHEDULES
- You can request a route schedule for any UTA route by entering its number. Schedules can be viewed as origin/destination tables or on a map. On the map, see when the next bus/train is scheduled to arrive by tapping on a stop. See all times for that stop by tapping on the info window that appears.
CLOSE STOPS
- Select your current location or an address you enter or select on a map as a search location for UTA stops that are nearby. You can specify a maximum number of stops to return as well as an optional route filter.
ALERTS
- You can define alerts for when a UTA vehicle is approaching or arriving at a particular stop. These alerts are based on distance from the stop, using the shape of the route defined by UTA.
- Because these alerts depend on the vehicle following the shape defineUd by UTA, if the vehicle is on detour, or if the vehicle isn't following the defined route for some other reason, your alert may not trigger as expected.
DIRECTIONS
- Choose an origin, a destination, and the time you would like to either depart or arrive, and the Google Maps app will display the different options available using UTA's buses and trains.

Other features:
- Choose a light or dark theme.
- Show satellite imagery and/or color-coded traffic data on the map.
- Optionally keep the map screen from dimming and shutting off.
- Adjust the update interval of UTA vehicle locations.
- Choose a custom ringtone for UTA alerts.

It's a great app to have when it works, but unfortunately that's only half the time. Recently when I try to look at train schedules it will tell me "no service available" even when the trains are running. I tried closing and reopening the app and uninstalling and reinstalling it but even that didn't work.
Most of the time it doesn't show the bus, selecting direction almost never works, 10 seconds is surprising a long time. I mostly use it to not go insane while waiting but if I can't see my damned bus, then it's useless.
To be honest, a leave time and/or arrival time would be nice. I want to plan for the next day but because the app is set to work with my clock regardless of what day I choose there are no options until I get through the whole thing, and that is if there are options available
I highly depend on this app to let me know where the bus is. This App has saved me tons of waiting time and it really gives you a piece of mind. No wondering where the bus is. It's the best transit tracker for Utah. I've used the other apps and this one is by far the best.
The proximity alerts aren't reliable. Otherwise, it's a great app and let's me know where the buses are located. Usually quite accurate.
App WAS great!, but lately routes DO - NOT show all of the vehicles and it is REALLY annoying. Especially when trying to coordinate with Google Maps to see if a route is "on - time"
Extremely poorly designed app. Should be able to tell expected wait time for the next bus at a certain stop when selected. Should learn something from the RTS bus app used in Florida.
Please make the bus icon show up on top of the stop icons. I often have to stop and wait for the bus to move away from the stop before I can tell which direction its going because the stop icons covers the arrow.
don't know what that last update did, but now the app is a useless waste of space. Used to provide schedules. Not sure whose brilliant idea the update was but boy did they drop the ball.
The app schedules and the actual bus times are different. The buses are running about five minutes ahead of what the schedule time says. I've missed busses because the apps schedule isn't accurate to UTAs schedule.
Pain to search for and save schedules. Frequently crashes. Too many ads.
It doesn't load. Ever. It also sometimes gives the wrong information. I have missed my bus several times because of this app.
I was really liking it because I could see where the next front runner train was, but for some reason they don't show up on the map anymore for me.
Sometimes work, sometimes not. Pretty annoying. Google maps is more reliable
Sometimes slow on updating the schedules, but very accurate as long as the bus gps is working or programmed for the correct route.
Friends with iPhone transit tracker gives up to minute delays and easy arrivals on schedules. Why is that not available for android?

I would like to give this a five star rating. It's great when it works. The problem is it frequently crashes.
Since Google maps isn't any help, and UTA has no alternative, This app is a must
Always up to date and easy to use. Minus the adds
app is great but the new update is showing the trax line schedules as not available
In a hurry it's always nice to be able to check and see where the buses to see if it's running a little late or if it's running a little early it's nice to have the option to look and see where the bus that I needed to be on is that.
Just sits and spins, update intervals are a joke.

I really like knowing if a bus is closer. It enables me to be prepared for it. I need to learn how to know what time they will be arriving at specific stops. And when the buses stop running would be good to know.
