TransitLink How2Go
How2Go is a public transport app which provides reliable and accurate real time journey planning solutions*, giving optimized point-to-point route options and actual fares for all basic bus services, MRT and LRT.
Factoring in walking/waiting times and service frequencies, the solutions provided are based on
- Least number of Transfers
- Fastest Routes
In addition, users are able to customize their search using the advanced search feature which offers an extensive list of places of interest as preferred destination points.

- User-friendly Interface.
- Search using address, bus stop code, postal code, landmark, MRT / LRT station and road name.
- 'My Location' identifies user’s current location (GPS accuracy is dependent on user’s Smartphone**).
- ‘Bus Arrival Times’ provides users with the estimated arrival times of the next two buses of the selected bus service.
- 'Advanced Search' option allows users to customize their routes by selecting their preferred transport mode, payment, travel option, day and time of travel as well as specifying the fare type, maximum number of transfers, maximum walking distance, etc.
- Prompt user if the bus services have ended and provide suggested solutions for the following day, 0700 hours onwards.
- 'Browse Map' brings up the map of Singapore and clicking the 'Bus / MRT / LRT' icon will show the bus stops, MRT and LRT stations on the map.
- 'Places of Interest' (POI) gives a list of tourist attractions in Singapore.
- 'Tools' allows user to shift 'Start' and 'End' markers to customize the origin and destination points on the map.--------------------------Important Notes--------------------------
Trip Time (min):
- Estimated bus travel time includes walking time from/to a bus stop but is subjected to road traffic conditions.
- Estimated train travel time includes approximate walking time for transfer between MRT lines at Bishan, Buona Vista, DhobyGhaut, HarbourFront, Marina Bay, Outram Park, PayaLebar and Serangoon Stations.
- Include approximate waiting times of...~ 3 minutes for transfer between Circle Line, North-East Line and North-South / East-West Line.~ 2 minutes for transfer between MRT lines at City Hall, Raffles Place and Jurong East Stations~ 6 minutes for transfer to Expo and Changi Airport Stations at Tanah Merah Station~ 4 minutes for transfer between East and West Loops of Sengkang and Punggol LRT.
All bus rides specified are considered air-conditioned rides.
Fares for feeder, Townlink and Intra-Town bus services are capped at 3.2km.
Flat fare services such as NightRider, Nite Owl, Parks, Chinatown Direct, Services to Integrated Resorts and Premium Bus Services are not included in this version of How2Go (H2G).
-----------------------Transfer Rules-----------------------1. Transfer time limit of 45 minutes. 2. All journeys must be within 2 hours of the first boarding on the same journey.3. Single entry and exit allowed for rail.4. Current bus service must not be the same number as the preceding bus service.5. Maximum of 5 transfers (from the current) can be made within a journey.

Easy to use. Directions are verbose not easily understood. One and only app. Long way to go. Can't complain.
Quite a dumb software. Most ridiculous route recommended. Make you walk 300m to a bus stop when there is one less than 30m away. Dont waste your time on this.
This app was built for an older version of Android. An update is due. Why does it need access to my calendar?
Keeps failing to search for a route so it's not a functional app to me. Might be my phone but only this app on my phone doesn't work.
This app can be better if there is an option to delete unwanted history journey.

It's able to offer routes which neither Google map or Onemap can generate.

inaccurate information. said "Go to newton, transfer to cove LRT". theres no LRT at Newton.

Why this day routing fail 110221
Outdated Bus Stops Database resulted Search Failed message. Bus stop 76031 at Tampines East Station Exit B non existing in the Search database. Only the older bus stop 76101 is found. A recommended trip from Blk 394 Tampines Ave 7 to Kristlite Bldg recommended to walk instead of transferring to Bus Svc 6 opposite Loyang Valley to Kristlite Bldg. This app lacked of bus stops updating since its last update in year 2021.
wanted to go blk 177, woodlands st 13 from Woodlands interchange and the apps told me to take 187, 964,965 that take 1 stop at blk 173 but actual stop was 300+, opposite stadium when there is bus 911t stop at Woodlands st 13, blk 178. Told journey from Tampines Central to Woodlands st 13 take 1 hrs 13 mins but it took 2 hours follow the apps route. Really disappointed apps from Transitlink. Need to do something
I downloaded this app because it is stated on the bus service board at the bus stop. I wanted to give it a try. The first search i did and it say routing failed. All i did was put the postal code of my house and westgate as destination. I had my mobile data enabled as well as my GPS. It is a huge disappointment. So much for finding the optimal route.
It's good when it works, but constantly getting routing failed error. For a main transport agency of Singapore this is actually quite a disgrace.
The app was working well. Suddenly stopped working and is why itbis getting 1 star from. It would be zero star from me if the app allows it.
Absolutely useless. It doesn't even show the route from one MRT station to another, forget about from one postal address to another. Uninstalled within 15 minutes.
I wanted to go SG discovery centre. It tells me to go tuas link mrt n then take bus. I found out later it is not the nearest mrt.

One of the worst travel app I have used. The apps tells you to alight 15 bus stops later but does not tells u exactly when to drop off. Is transit link government funded? Or a money making enterprise?
