Translate On Screen

Doesn't actually do anything. I have it permission to record my screen. I selected the language. I dragged the red box over the text and... nothing. Just gives me a debug message "No Query Specified" Tried with android 12 bug fix setting on, but it still doesn't do anything.

Pretty helpful but I just thought ut will automatically translate the screen. Choosing thay selected portion on the screen is pretty tiring.. if I wanted to do tjat I'd use Google translate anyways with its camera on another device. If will be better if it translated the screen when I paused on the image.. let it take its time but translate the whole screen

I cannot use this app with single hand. Is it possible to translate without drawing any box area. Its so tiresome to draw the box everytime esp when reading a news or big article. (Asking for new feature- double click the icon and whole screen is translated. )

After latest update, text recognition become more awful. I'm using japanese › english and not accurate anymore. Im testing with same text on image, after and before update is different result. Whereas the text on image pretty clear and contrast, blue text and full white background.

03/08/21 why did you remove the ability to X out at the bottom of the screen?! The updates have actually made the translation and opening and closing the app clunkier! Also I paid for no ads and now I'm getting popups to pay even more.

It was a very good app. But after a while it doesn't work anymore. Whenever I try to "Screen Translate", it says "attempt to invoke virtual method. Android. Hardware. Display. Virtual display android. Media projection. Create virtual display ..." etc. Please fix it. Because, I really need the app and I love it so much 💓💓 please solve this !!! 🙏

I like this app because I can already read indo comic languge because of this app...the sad thing is there are a lot of ads... I hope to reduce the ads a bit because I can't use them properly...but still thanks ❤️

Used to work. Not the selected text has all spaces and does not translate anymore. I paid for it actually!

greate wish it would show country flags and words for example of what it looks like youknow for accuracy and not to use up the times to use special langues

Helpful .. but shows a lot more ads. This is really annoying!

Fastest Uninstall ever. The translations are horribly inaccurate and it's not user friendly. LOTS of ads. And I won't even start on privacy issues with this app. It records EVERYTHING on your screen. And I mean everything, passwords, emails, etc. For as long as "Translate from other apps" is enabled, this app records whatever is happening on your screen, all the time and not just when using the app.

Overall so pretty but Sometime it is not working properly such a way it used to do before .Telling us go to offline mode please fix that issue..

It was in an abbreviation to close the program, which is the appearance of the X sign, with a drag of this sign, the program is closed, and this is not present in the update, and it was easier than now

Honestly it's a life saver, I moved to another country so all the apps are like in Russian only. Really usefull

After Google was upgraded, the translation from Thai to Swedish became bad

Used to be good now the ads are in the way and it's annoying to use, also almost never works for Russian or cryllic alphabet

Nice idea, but many problems. 1.) It takes ads to translate. 2.) It records your screen constantly and can see everything you do. If it only recorded while you were translating, that'd be fine, but it's constant. It sees all passwords and emails you enter. Everything you see, they see. Super invasive. 3.) The translation quality is worse than Google Translate. You may as well just switch apps to that and you'd get a better, faster, unmonitored, ad-free translation.

A pretty good alternative to Kaku, but the settings interface is rather clunky. For instance, in order to switch to vertical text reading, you have to re-open the app. It would be a lot easier if you could toggle this via the persistent notification. Also, it would be preferable if there was the option to start the service without having to fully open the app, like with a shortcut or quick action tile.

This app is very helpful for me in China. Yes I paid for it, but the floating ball in screen is so helpful to translate apps. The translation is pretty good, and you can even choose which program to use, for instance Google or Baidu. BUT...big negative is that even though I paid, after every 5 translations I get an advertisement to watch. This is really annoying when you are in the middle of translating. I would happily pay a bit more and get rid if the ads.

I like how easy it is to translate one language to another by just using a picture or something, scanning the words on screen or when you dont have to copy paste the word. Still even if this app is free there's always a catch, like you can't use some of the language, you have to purchase it or watch ads. Speaking of ads, i hate em. But all in all, good app

Amazing app! I can finially read more foreign manga because of it. Ive looked everywhere, but this app is perfect! I love the on screen touches. The english could be a bit better than it already is, but the english grammar is good so far. I would give it five stars but when i try to watch ads to keep translating, it wont load. And the unlimited feature in purchasing is sort of expensive... And i hate how i only get a limited amount of uses.

Works great at identifying text to translate but the ads are ridiculously invasive. I have the biggest issue that some languages require a premium fee in order to be used a limited number of times (unless you pay almost $30 usd for unlimited access but then you still have another premium fee to remove ads.) I would understand a few to buy the "premium" version of the app but it's way too expensive for the recreational purposes I use it for.

It's a great app that tends to work well and the text to speech button is a great way to hear the pronunciation of what you translate. Personally I use this to read manga. One problem with the app is that if used for too long at a time it seems to overload the phone's CPU (Galaxy S10+ and previously on my S8 as well). This causes my phone to noticeably heat up. Eventually this get to the point where it shuts itself off to prevent thermal damage.
