Bogus app. Not worthy the cost. Took my money after the trial period, no provision for cancelation and no reminder was sent before withdrawing money from my account. To make matters worse google couldnt help that they don't intermediate with this app. But why I hate it is that it can't translate audio longer than 10 seconds. It stops translating after a few seconds.
This is truly the app thats worth trying. No other app is as easy to use and is on the same level as this app. I personally RECOMMEND FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING "HMONG" parents or new comers; however, must be able to read in write in Hmong. Translation of Hmong to English must be done by text only. Translation of English to Hmong can be done by speech or writing.
So Good for translation but long conversation is not detected by Mike.. Tnx for this app please update more..
Have to pay?? Go away!!!!. Thank you for your reply. Most apps give two options. One is Premium (or whatever name when one pays). The other is free with ads. I don't mind ads. But your App gives me no choice. i am sory if I sounded harsh. i will change my rating, because you were kind enough to respond and I thank you very much But as long as I have no choice, I will find a Translation App where i have a choice. Wow what an app. It so fantastic but I cannot afford the payment. So I guess I am deleting it.
Terrible! It's not working at all . I played the voice conversation several time. I can see it is detecting it. But it's not translating.
Helps me talk to my partner whenever I'm at work because he mostly speak Spanish, He or She knows English very little but this app helps a lot. Best app ever, never leaving my phone
Its a decent app. I haven't used it much yet and i have only used the text translation fearure so far, but it keeps popping up the "rate me" message so I hope a rating will make that stop. It does not always recognize spanish words. For example, I was trying to figure out what roncan was and it would just give me the same wrod as the english translation. I guess that could be because it was a conjugated verb.
It miss translates a lot, mainly it is words like don't and can't, but also if you use words like mad , it will always come up Loco. you really have to be careful of your sentence structures and make sure it is proper English before you translate to another language. also translating back from Spanish to English I have had a lot of confusion. room for improvement, but still a decent program.
Good, the best feature can send voice translation, but need automatic clear history msg and voice.
VERY helpful and user friendly!! Love it!!! But.... is there an option to slow down the spoken translation?... sometimes it comes so fast that it is hard to make out the actual sound of the translated text in order to repeat it properly... maybe this option is there but I just missed it?...
Suboptimal experience. Expected the app to hear my voice in English and translate to a Turkish audio. This doesn't happen, it translates to text only. Furthermore, being both a native English speaker and an advanced Turkish speaker I have to say that the translation provided is actually very poor.
This app is SO INCONSISTENT. I use this thing for listening exercises. Sometimes it works but sometimes it's just awful and doesn't even translate the damn thing. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is that when it does work its quite reliable to translate but when it doesn't, it is frustrating as hell
Great app for both voice & written translation. Used it in clarifying conversations English/Spanish. Great having the English text show when speech translation. Sometimes wrong word in speech, leads to wrong phrase in Spanish. Text view corrects before the voice translation starts. Great feature!
This app is not worth paying for when there are hundreds for free it does nothing special it's no more advanced doesn't have any more features than all the free ones if anything it has less features it only has like three or four to choose from. Don't waste your time go to a free one!
Constantly pushing to make you pay, and it's way too much money. The thing is full of ads to begin with and asks you to rate after every single translation. I've never wanted to not learn a second language so badly... Just Sad. It translates decently, no better than Google, I'm sure it just makes an api call to Google translate to do the work anyway, I could write a better free version of this ad in a week. Guess I found my next little project lol
I signed up for the free trial period and I ended up going into labor and having my son prematurely so I missed the free cancelation time frame by maybe 12 hours. I couldn't find a customer service number or a way to cancel the subscription. I finally found an email address for the developer but nobody has gotten back to me. I'd just like to cancel the subscription and have the $42 charge reversed given my situation and considering it's so close to the free cancelation window but no response.
It does what it says on the box ... I think it's a great way to communicate ... but the translation of English to German and visa versa lacks the correct grammar ... ie. verbs are most of the time in the wrong place ... hence 3 ☆
Send me discounted offers but everytime I go into it it wants me to do the free trial and then charge me 39.99, which is the full price. Also if the trial was free it wouldn't need my credit card information. Terrible app, I'm uninstalling it right now.
Love the app, but something strange had when I leave it on. It records conversions one side because when your taking on the phone with some one it only records what your saying. Please let me know if this happened to anyone else.
I installed this app due to "automatic mic" in the conversation tab. I am really disappointed that the function is not working. You tap the auto mic and it goes off without catching the voice. Manual tap on the microphone is functioning.
it works well but damn, I've used this app for not even 2 minutes and received 3 different pop ups telling me to buy the premium version? nah. immediately uninstalled. there's plenty of other apps that can do the same, without annoying pop ups
Great learning aid. I subscribed for the seven day trial. The app worked without adds and it stopped asking me to subscribe for the first day. I used it about 48 hous later and it was behaving as though I never subscribed. It started showing adds and asking me to subscribe all over again.
actually works well and the reason why I can only giv 3 stars and no more is the ads.. I would have givin 4 stars but way too many ads.. that being said i still have the app because it does work and it helps when I can't think of a word or im having trouble wording a sentence (English is my first language)
So many ads that it's impossible to even test it properly. And if you have the patience and actually set up the proper to and from languages it constantly says ...didn't detect that. Please repeat!
Can't even fully try the app before buying because if the massive amount of ads. Plus it's just another subscription service designed to take your money forever. I would have bought it for a once off payment.
It makes a lot of mistakes translating to not so popular languages and more than half of the support languages don't have voice output, just text. If you can fix that I'm going premium
Too many ads There is an invasive ad with EVERY voice translation request. Voice recognition is good, but translations often poor. For example translating "How far is it to ..." is translated in French to "Dans quelle mesure est-il au ..." Nonsense. And the French female accent is mechanical and unattractive. Especially with all the ads, it's slow. Google Translate is better. It gave "à quelle distance se trouve ..." which is correct. And Google's female French voice is much better. Use Google.
