I've been using this app since it first came out and generally speaking out does what it's supposed to do, responds quickly and has a good amount of info. Where it falls down for me is the preferences. I have mobility problems, so when I say I can walk 5 minutes maximum at a slow speed and prefer routes that involve less walking, that's what should be reflected in the results. However I've once again just got a result that would require me to walk for 16 mins. If it isn't possible, say so.

This app is so infuriating! I downloaded it because the website is so counter-intuitive to use... but NOTHING is clear in the app search menu either. If you successfully search for a trip, it gives lists of possible journeys via bis or train but NO way to buy a ticket. Nightmare. I'm taking a taxi, cheers Translink... your website and app are both completely useless.

does what it needs to do. some people have left reviews and a lot saying certain things are missing...this is on the app just need to learn how to use properly. for example tap into the service when loaded to get the departure times. unfort it does not make a note of what platform buses leave from the station but I imagine this is because it can change due to busy times, driver mishaps. once you are there though the massive info board tells you. the app could look a bit better/ flow smooter

App doesn't work. Samsung galaxy S9+. I installed the app several times. It didn't help. Hi, I found the reason of the issue. The app doesn't work when on the phone system language is different than English. At least it doesn't work with polish. After setting system language back to English the app works fine.

I loved this app before it was updated or something as now it only says "server not found" no matter what you do. I've reported it to translink but nothing has been done. I'm lost without this app I used to use regularly. Please fix it ASAP and stop saying there are no reported issues as clearly from the other comments below I'm not the only one it has affected. I've tried uninstalling reinstalling clearing the data and cache everything I can think of. its down to Translink to fix it please!

The older app was brilliant. Whoever decided that this new version is an improvement obviously doesn't use public transport.If this is an example of Translinks business then it's no wonder they are always in a mess.I would suggest they contact a few kids in primary school to create the app. because 6yr olds could come up with better than this codswallup.

Rubbish. Can't buy tickets in the app and the third party app Translink directs you to isn't fit for purpose as it's charging me for a full route journey (£8) instead of letting me choose my actual boarding & departure points (£3.60). Get an app that does it all Translink! Using multiple apps for one bus ticket is a joke.

Completely useless. A waste of time and phone storage. It seems designed to be confusing and doesn't even match the online timetable vaguely. Usual Translink nonsense. The individual drivers can be great but the company is a disaster. Far from the first time they've let me down, but what choice do we have for public transport. Better off walking. Certainly quicker. No doubt my complaint will be given their usual level of customer care and service. That is to say ; very little.

Please bring back the old app - this is consistently inaccurate at reporting delayed trains (and as others have said, we need to see the planned time as well as the delayed time since some services may seem to vanish) and there's an issue with the late trains to Bangor which never seem to appear when you really need them. The app is not doing what it's meant to.

Hard to use interface as when you hit the back button you lose your details, why is the only choice web e saver and then cant book ticket..?? Disappointed.. booking online travel in advance should be alot easier than this. Also how far in advance can I book a ticket if I actually get that far in the app..!!

The app does not allow you to put in a destination!! So if I put in a departure point it does not ask me where I want to go!! So weird, it gives me the full list of all departures and then i have to scroll through all of them to find my arrival point ! What's the point of that ? It's time wasting and completely irrelevant when it tells me the next bus to Coleraine or Derry and I want to go to Dublin!! Put in an arrival point for easier use please.

How this app is the official app for NIs major transport company is shocking, It's designed as if it was developed in 2010. Seriously Translink you need to release a modern app that has both the ability of buying tickets and viewing the timetable all in one app as the M-Link app is just as bad if not worse than this one and I even lost my £50 monthly pass as it didn't backup to the cloud when I reset my device. Put the increased fare prices to good use and release an app suitable for 2019/2020.

It's was all ok with the previous version. I could see the journey details, what times roughly the bus would pass certain stops, see every stop it passed, see important notes about the bus. Now every time I tap on the route it just takes me straight to the map, no info on about the journey! Also if I go from lagans to Ards, it'll only give me buses ending at Ards, not ones that stop off at Ards like the millisle or portaferry bus. Please fix it and I'll leave a better review!

Very good. I can't understand why it gets such a low score - perhaps some of the "faults" mentioned have nothing to do with the app itself but rather the operating system of the phone etc or perhaps some users have difficulty in understanding how to use the app properly. I have no problems with it and it has served me well. 👍

Bitterly disappointed. App is incapable of giving reliable journey plans, and it cannot handle journey that involve bus and rail, No idea why there has to be separate ticketing systems for bus and rail - the network is hardly huge - and definitely do not understand why there are two apps for journey planning and fares. Terrible service.

All the time quoted today were 10mins out. Not sure what value a journey planner is if the times are all wrong. Perhaps the timetable has changed but no-one told the app developers or perhaps it's deliberate in case the bus comes early. Either way it makes it hard to plan an onwards journey.

Translink keep updating to send reviews to older version. Don't be fooled. Since the big update in August it's truly awful. Your public money spent on this. And they never acknowledge the negative reaction that is so prevalent. Go back to the old version features!!

Should be much more simple to use. Gives far to much information that does not relate to the question. Example when is the time of the next bus from Belmont Road Belfast destination Layton Train station. Your older app was able to bring up a list of buses and times.

Difficult to navigate and doesn't allow you to buy a ticket in the app. Too much wording and doesn't add anything to the journey that I wouldn't get from going to the station just in time for my journey.

Poor useability. Not clear what station, or when a trains leave. Includes walking from one station to another as a part of a journey. Just doesn't work like other mainstream transport apps which is confusing

Truly unbelievable - Deciding to shut down a service because of the current pandemic and STILL putting it up on the info is just the perfect summary of Translink haphazardly screwing us all over the show. Normally, I wouldn't be so sceptical about them, but to know that they'd do this, and many other rather concerning acts, this is just hilarious.

This app is clearly designed by complete idiots who have done less than 1 second of user testing. I chose times from botanic to bangor and clicked on the option I want which showed me the time it would be at lanyon place not, not me chosen departure point. I missed my train and I'm now sitting here waiting because someone thought it would be a good user experience to hide the actual time the train leaves and instead show me the time it arrives at then next stop. Please educate the designer.

Typical of anything to do with NI. This app is terribly slow and non user friendly. In fact, it's nearly as slow as Translink itself. Worst train service in Europe and worst app I've used in a long time. A child could develope a better app!

It is such a pain to plan and pay for your trip. You cannot pay for your journey through this app, you have to download a separate app to do that. It also doesn't tell you the train platform.

I cant use my card anymore because translink hasnt updated their security since the new law in March. Otherwise a 5 if it works properly.
