My biggest issue is that I often can't select bus stops. Often it just zooms in like a regular ol' place on the map, or I have to tap around on other bus stops before the one I want is accessible. :( Otherwise? This app is pretty great and user friendly! On campus it's helped friends and my siblings who before didn't trust the busses, actually be more willing. Just... the bus stops are so finicky to select.... That's all I'm begging to fix.
I don't know how long it's been like this but it is now completely unusable! It won't show routs in my area and I can't select my area at all. The only thing that works is GPS button and that's not even all that accurate. This app is completely unusable! I'm uninstalling it since all its doing is wasting valuable space and data.
pretty easy to use. nice to be able to zoom in and see the information about a bus stop or zoom out to see the larger route and where the bus is on the route. some stops seem to have terrible accuracy, but I think that's the fault of the data the app receives and not the app itself.
Uses a lot of memory in the background. Maps and routes aren't always up to date, and buses that ARE in service are often not shown in the app (shown as out of service). Otherwise decent. I particularly like the X minute warning before a bus arrival.
the app is wonderful when the buses are running on schedule. the second one I was running late it becomes an issue. it tells you no prediction available. sometimes it'll do that even if the bus is on time. all in all it's a useful tool it taught me how to catch the bus so many places.
When it comes to mass transit, this app as absolute MUST HAVE. As a student at NCSU in Raleigh I am always using, and confused by, the intricate bus system. Navigating the entire bus network (including the WolfLine, GoRaleigh, and all the other bus networks) is so much easier with this app! I especially like the highly accurate arrival times; check out any stop and see when the next 3 busses will arrive.
There are many times when my boost mobile phone cant pick up where bus is . It just says no prediction, and then a bus will come if u wait long timeslot of times there's no prediction and trans lock got 4 stars because of your help during coronavirus so I'm upgrading my ratings to 4 stars trans clock is good but a lot of times the communication is down ,that needs to be fixed but trans lock is a good positive thing ,keep working on making it better it helps our poor people's life and is a plus
Bettendorf needs more busses and more routes. It's not convenient in a lot of ways. It's a hassel to time your trip right. More busses needed, with more routes. run more on the weekends. Also, advertising that a dollar will get you places you need to go, will bring in more riders. More revenue. If Bettendorf is a "PREMIER" city, shouldn't a person be able to get on a bus and have it drop you off where your going? Not 30 minutes away walking because there are no busses? Fail.
Where I live the buses often run early or late which can be problematic when you need to get to a place at a certain time. This app allows me to see where the bus is on the route and tells the estimated time of arrival for whichever stop I have selected. That feature also comes in handy for when I am on the bus and unable to read the road signs indicating which bus stop is next.
Edit: I wasn't sure about the new update before, but the alerts work now and the bus info seems more accurate. OG: The app alerts don't work. I've tried restarting the app and also deleting and re-installing the app but the alerts still don't work.
No idea why it needs access to my files, but I keep having to uninstall/reinstall. It will work once, I will use another app and a popup will appear saying Rider has stopped. It did it just now. I wasn't using it. Please fix, as I need this service. It did not do this prior to the latest update (I was working from home so did not see it before now.)
An essential app for a Gainesville public transport user! You still need the schedule though in case you are catching a bus on its first trip. It won't show up on the app until it is there and then it's too late to catch it.
The one route that I ride, which was the only reason for downloading the app, is not being tracked anymore and hasn't been working for a few weeks. When the app was working, it was great! But when you go from working to not working, you go from five stars to one star.
I ride the bus and I've tried telling everyone that rides that doesn't have it about it. I don't pick up any more schedules, they'll wind up lost or trashed. Plus the bugs could be late,or broken down which happens enough. They're unpredictable some driver's don't even go by the schedule. This has within a 2 minute prediction. 4 to be on the safe side. Doesn't get any easier
This app has helped me to catch bus when I might have missed it since out transit system is still in the arc ages(for a city 300,000+ppl) Weekends especially only a handful of buses run and usually not on schedule. With the live action map I can see where each bus running is really at. Thanks
Works pretty well! There are some bugs to be aware of though! (Times might switch randomly or not show up at all) But other than that ive been getting around just fine with it!
Although many times there aren't any predictions available, the app still shows you exactly where the bus is on route. Shows the buses coming and go, to and from different destinations. Definitely reliable. Was able to catch the bus without having to cross the street because the app told me that the bus was headed back into my direction from the same side of the road; worked out perfectly.
