Transport for Edinburgh

This app hasn't been working properly for months. Buses don't appear on the map at all or there is a significant delays between where it is in real time and on the tracker map (8-10 stops). The times are not accurate and will often stick on a time eg 9 minutes for up to 5 minutes then suddenly the bus is past or changes to due in 3 minutes. Some of the routes are not accurate and it's difficult to plan journeys at times. Cannot rely on this app anymore.

I switched from an apple to an Android. This app works beautifully on the Apple. It's a mess on the Android!! It cut off the map and wouldn't let me click on the map so I couldn't see where I was going. Once I chose a bus and route to take, it wouldn't show me any of the stops including the starting and ending stop.

Really quite poor. Shows conflicting expected bus times one second to the next. I am having to go out and go back into the app 2 or 3 times, just to makes sure what it is telling me stays the same. I have missed many a bus thanks to this app. The exact opposite from the intended outcome. Doesn't update fast enough and there is no refresh button.

Possibly the worst app I have ever had the displeasure of using. I want to be able to rate this app 0 stars so don't think the 1 star was earned. Save yourself time and throw a dart at a clock to decide when to leave for your bus. Always wrong, tracker doesn't work, multiple bugs and the "plan your trip" feature counts on you being able to cover distances faster than Usain Bolt to make connecting buses, even before the first bus in your journey is 15 minutes late and you miss it anyway. Avoid.

The times displayed on home screen for nearest bus stops do not match the actual times when you open a stop. The plan a trip is useless. Takes ages to do a search and frequently fails to find a place, or suggests some random place somewhere else in the UK. Use google maps for a trip planner, as you'd be quicker walking than waiting for this app to respond.

This app really is very poor considering it gets pushed on the bus screens all the time. There is almost no customisation possible, you are stuck with the Home screen being a half map so you always have to then click somewhere else to progress. What else, crashes when you select any bus route, no widgets (surely vital), can't sort arrivals into arrival order as opposed to service. Come on, get this made into something that's actually useful.

Map is impossible to use, shows the tiniest letterbox of the map. Routes not showing at all on the list or at stops or journey planner as if they didn't exist. Forgets everything. You can save trip, but saves specific time and bus so you can't check that journey again for any other time, e.g. if you want to go a bit earlier out are running late. Live updates are never right. I keep having to switch to use Google maps instead

This application it's one big joke. Today I lost the job because 5th time was late because that aplication shows some FALSE TIMES. After reloaded app it's different times or not loading. I want my money back SCAMERS... It was bad but this time it's to much . I will contact people from Lothian buses for that what's happened today... AVOID THAT APP... JOKE ... WHY someone approved that S.H.IIIII.T

Changed my review to 1 star because the bus times are so wildly inaccurate. The M-ticket feature (which seems to open a second app?) takes far to long to load and will freeze/hang for several seconds for no apparent reason). The back button also doesn't work as intuitively as I'd expect, I routinely find myself exiting the App when trying to return to the home screen, which combined with the m ticket opening time makes presenting your ticket to get in the bus infuriatingly slow

I have used this app for a number of years but on IOS, I thought it would be just as useful when I swapped over to Android. Sadly, this hasn't been the case. Since installing, the journey/route planner has never functioned correctly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times but still when I type in my destination, the app tells me that "nothing is found". I am told by other android users, this is a common problem. Please can the developers spend some time fixing this issue?

This app has been broken for months. The journey planner opens a map that is only viewable on the top 2cm of the screen. This makes the journey planning feature useless. It's been a widespread issue for months and nothing has been done to address the issue. Just use Google maps.

Proactively misguides customers by giving the wrong information about bus times. Either too early, or too late. Sometimes completely different to the times shown on the digital signs at bus stops. Route planner is pointless. Impossible for anyone who doesn't know Edinburgh or the buses to follow the routes given. Doesn't work well with poor connectivity. What makes it worse is it doesn't tell you when there is no/low connectivity, it just shows the wrong or outdated information.

Pretty decent, gives better directions than Google Maps. I and other users do have the issue of the map when tapping on a route being absolutely tiny at the top of the screen for some reason so I would like that fixed. (The temporary solution is just to hit back and tap on the route till it works).

This App is not very helpful for visitors. It only gives the services numbers and number of stops but doesn't tell you where to find the stop you need to board the bus or even which direction the bus is going in. Nor does it give you the name of the place or stop number where you need to change to another service. You cannot even see the map at the top of the screen to get any clue. Finally, had to resort to Google Maps to find my way.

I'd have left zero stars if I could as tbe app in its current format is not fit for purpose. The window that displays the bus route is 2cm at best on the top of the screen - impossible to view the bus route. Bus time function is an arrow you can click through a 24 hour clock - allow us to enter the time we need. App developers consult users on what they need from your app and use Google maps as a strong example of what bus users need in Edinburgh. Needs significant work.

The Android app is not functioning correctly - in particular, the live 'due' times etc are completely wrong for the most part. I've waited on phantom buses and missed others due to the timings being so badly off. Other reviews say the same, so why hasn't the app been fixed? Please, give this back to the developers to be rebuilt as it's not doing it's most basic of jobs correctly.

Barely works, but only when using WiFi. When I'm on 4g and trying to check for the next bus (which is what I'm using the app for when outside), it doesn't manage to get any bus info for any stop. Which defeats the purpose of the app. And good luck using the "plan a trip" feature if not on Wifi.

I've had no problems with this app ever in years and all of a sudden, today it stops working. It won't even load up for me now. As soon as I click on it, it crashes and says the app has stopped working. Incredibly frustrating during a pandemic when you need to make essential journeys.
