They are out of business
Something is seriously wrong. This app says I am constantly speeding on an interstate highway going 69 in a 70mph zone. When I look at the notification, it says the speed I'm going on an unknown road. This app does not even know the names of interstate highways.

Amazing product and I love the review feature! TrapTap didn't recognize a school zone that I passed but I submitted my drive to the company and they added it right away.
It's a good app but it is so freaking annoying when it tells you ever 30 seconds or so that it can't run in power saver mode. ONCE IS ENOUGH!!!
Although I have all my settings correct this app falls asleep and it doesn't keep up with the speed limit maximum I set up too. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Note: may try it on my HTC One. Message to the development team... GET IT TOGETHER 😡
Stopped telling me what road I m driving on, no more alerts. Used to b better
Drains the battery! It's ok for a short commute but driving for an extended period of time will drain your battery. Within an hour my Nexus 6 drops by 50%.
Application when running disables and disconnects Bluetooth devices several times per hour. Same issues on Samsung note 4, note 5, and S7 edge. Please fix, with the app running it makes handsfree impractical, unacceptable when driving.
I submitted this (below) via support within the app and mentioned it on Indiegogo, but I feel compelled to mention it here, too, in light of a recent announcement about an upcoming Review Drives feature: far too often, I'll be driving on one road, cross another road with a lower speed limit and TrapTap will tell me that I'm speeding. It's clear that it thinks I'm driving on the road with the lower speed limit. This happens while I'm on the interstate and travel under or over a surface street or when I pass by a subdivision on a surface street. I'm tempted to disable the Speed Limit warning, but I don't want to miss a legitimate warning, so for the time being, I accept the (many) false alerts. Again, please consider fixing this issue before embarking on adding new features (like Review Drives). And if it can't be fixed, please be up-front with users about it in the app description. Other than this speed-limit issue, it's a pretty stable app and supports the hardware well. I'd say about half of the time, it won't automatically reconnect to the device, but that could be due to my ancient phone. :)
App crashes upon starting. Also uses excessive cpu and warms phone, downside is it drains the battery very quickly. Must run on charger to even use. Really not the best way to run an app. Go back to work dev. Update: after clearing cache, that didn't help. I then cleared the data and restarted the app and it worked. This is on a Note 3 for anyone who may see this issue. Oh while it's still new and the network of ppl needs to build, can we adjust the notifications for speed limit seems to only do it once.
Constant reinstalling. It seems like 4-5 times a week I have to reinstall to get device to connect. Just about to give up and trash it all.
Even tho brand new and still in upgrading stage it is already potentially saving us speed tix and points and that is here in Sydney Oz. Looking forward to it's growth and other potential it is sure to have.. Good job !
The best because it works alongside any navigation app, or no app at all! Accurate and complete.
When I first got my Traptap I was having a hard time reconnecting to it after turning off bluetooth and closing the app. What I discovered was I needed to force close the app, connect my Traptap through the bluetooth screen on my phone and then opening the app. This had yielded a 100% success rate. After I am connected I am golden! Works like a charm! For future updates I would like to see more stats of my driving if that’s possible. Maybe a map of where I have been.
Had it for a week and it used up over 10gb of storage on my phone, making it full and the phone nearly unusable. In that week, drove across NJ and PA with not a single alert going off except for an errant school zone alert while in middle of I-95, but no alerts in about 10 other real school zones. Also drains the battery and makes charging about 2x slower. Will delete it until the storage issue is fixed and info for my area is added.
Not bad for the first week of use. No major problems or issues, I realize that it's work in progress and looking forward to improvements as time goes by.
The unit is just about the perfect size for where I've mounted it. I would like the green light to be a bit darker as it reflects off the windowscreen. Also I would like a bit more notice from the unit for the camera alerts as -10sec. Is Too short. As for the software, I would like it to have a exit button as I don't want it running in the background when I'm not in the car. It would also be good to be able to manually delete a reference point, as when I was putting the unit in the car it recorded a spot.
Works really well considering it just came out!
Paired quickly with the button. Works very slick!
I am extremely happy with my Traptap. It is very responsive, easy to use and a great piece of technology. I love the different colours that come up for the different alerts. I also love the customer service chat feature in the app. Its very easy to use and the customer service is great. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks Traptap :)
Live the simple design and easy functionality
Used to really like the app a lot. Now there are constant crashes. Have to reconnect at least twice during my 35mins commute and it even doesn't recognize schoolzones anymore. The speeding function doesn't work as well and even when I am in Liechtenstein or Austria I can't put in mobile radars... it is at a point now where the app is completely useless to me. Shame
