TravelBit aims to correct this issue by providing you with an interface that allows you to easily log these activities and remove the unwanted steps from your tracker. Using TravelBit is as simple as tapping the "Start" button before you begin your drive and tapping the "Stop" button when you are finished driving. A confirmation window will appear and allow you to verify that the collected data is accurate before syncing it with your Fitbit tracker.

For this reason, when you purchase the premium version you still continue to use the original version to run it and it will detect that you have purchased the premium version and unlock the features. Q: There seems to be a delay between when I start driving and when it is detected by the app.A: There is a small period of time where the app detects that you are driving, but does not notify you immediately that it has detected it until it is sure that you are driving. This is to prevent false-positives caused by rapid motion of your device that isn't actually driving. Keep in mind that the time the app initially detects you as driving is saved before this "grace period" is entered. You will find that when the actual drive is logged, the start time will usually be 3-5 minutes before the notification is actually sent.
Using the detected driving does not interfere with manual entries. You are still able to manually log your drives if you are concerned about the exact start and end times being recorded. Detected driving is intended to be more of a "fall back" method than to be relied upon for incredible accuracy.

love the idea of the app but not sure about the premium auto detect motion feature. was in a car as a passenger twice the other day and neither time did the app record a driving session. how does the detection work? the app does not seem to have any permissions flagged. moto g6 play / android 8.0
I was about to purchase the pro version but I noticed that the widget does nothing, it doesn't start or stop the activity... It would be nice that the widget worked and also that the activity was uploading automatically without needing a confirmation, I'm using a oneplus 6 running Android pie
One thing that is keeping me from giving 5 stars is that it doesnt remove the steps from the challenges. but overy it does remove it from the dashboard. Wish Fitbit put this option already on the Versa.
This app is helping me deduct the extra steps which get counted while driving a motorcycle or a car but the problem is its not able to reduce the extra calories that gets added while driving . Please help me in this.

I've discovered my fitbit is highly likely to record steps when I am constantly changing gear in city traffic in the UK. That problem doesn't occur to the same degree when cruising the motorway. This app solves a problem likely to be encountered in any country where automatic transmissions are uncommon.
Somebody stepped up to help out where drivebit left off! As I drive a motorcycle and commercial vehicles, I get erroneous readings every time I'm using one! This will get my numbers correct again! Thank you for your time and effort in bringing this to us. (purchased the premium within 1 minute of install to show my appreciation)
At first I thought this app was not working, because I'd drive over bumps and steps would be tracked. Then I realized the "steps" tracked during a drive were deducted AFTER I touched "STOP" and the drive was recorded as an activity in my FitBit activity log. Important thing to know.
Very happy this app is here. Syncs well. Being able to adjust the driving sensitivity is helpful. Takes steps off which occur during driving.
It use to work. No longer automatically working, NEVER automatically syncs. ~I feel ripped off.
This App is a must for fitbit users. The widget doesnt work however on my phone.

Savior from one big shortcoming of fitbit. A real nice effort and app to address the issue. Can drive without worrying abt the extra steps and floors getting added to the dashboard hereafter.
Does the app add calories burned to the exercise too? I have found it to be adding calories onto my fitbit instead of adjusting the calories it's worked out from the steps it's deleting
The drivebit writes back to the fitbit but didn't alter steps recorded into a challenge. Does this app do that?
After i sync the data with my fitbit, will those steps come off my fitbit?

The app is simple and easy to use, but in drivebit, the previous app, there were the widget that for me is the one of the most useful thing, hoping it will come back soon
The app is clean and easy to use, but it would be nice to have a widget to quickly start and stop. Also would like to be able to schedule start stop time or be able to use with Tasker
Deducted stars. This no longer shows on screen overlay. so I forget to switch it off. I've often found on my days off I'm not driving and so have 2 days of driving activity recorded. So my steps for a full day don't count. Such a simple fix. so please do it!
