Overall, the login creation and login process works as designed -- there are many reviews with issues, but I did not have any after completing the email verification of my email address. Once logged in, there are multiple options to identify your policy, get policy details, and get the app to support your travel needs (flights, transfers, etc.). There are a few areas where the app experience could be smoothed out or made simpler, but this app supports my needs for travel insurance and contacts to support emergency needs.
now with covid travel insurance is a must especially for out of the country. I'm so glad I had this on my trip u had delays, lost bag and non refundable expense. this helped a lot. I'm going to use this more. if you have something like an expensive camera or cell phone you need to make sure you're plan covers what you need. I am now glad I had this! the app doesn't allow me to upload documents have newest phone!
I booked a flight they had the option to add insurance. It's recquired where I'm travelling to... I was thinking I could find it cheaper somewhere else but $58 isn't bad for the level of coverage. Creating the account was easy and when I logged in my info was already there. Making presenting proof of insurance a breeze. Thanks!
It's 2022, guys! Wake up! Tried to set up my account on this app, and it rejected both of my completely valid email addresses (one a Gmail address, the other one on my business domain!). It simply reports that I need to enter a VALID email address. That's a complete non-starter! Game Over!
App does not let you upload your documents from your phone, does not let you go back in and do it either. It goes to correct page but it's like the button doesn't work, its there just doesnt go. Tried to upload on the computer instead, but nothing pops up at all when you press the correct policy. Also no one is on chat. Very poor customer service.will take your money, but will not message back on chat -_-
Heading off to Africa. nice to see an app that puts all my flights and everything in one place including emergency contact numbers .hope I won't ever need to use it.
can't log in to account keep getting wrong email or password changed password several times still with same results, installed and uninstalled multiple times still with same results. try calling allianz they have no IT team members that you can talk to only way to talk to IT is by email, nothing but a waste of time and very frustrating. have unistalled. just hope everything for my trip goes smoother than this app.
Doesn't work...at all. It has lost my policy info twice over the past 24 hours. This would be catastrophic if I was overseas and relying only on the app. Also I have been unable to upload my trip for trip alerts. I fly in 5 days. The app allows only 3 days to input a flight--today and the next two days. Useless.
Will not allow document upload from phone. As others have said, the buttons are all there for the document types to upload, but they have zero functionality. Honestly, I'm not at all surprised that an insurance company would make it difficult to file a claim. This app is trash.
Many of the forms in the "file a claim" sections of the app do not function correctly. For example, when filing a medical claim, the form doesnt allow me to provide an address outside the US, which is where our medical emergency happened. On the submit page, for example, when putting in a debit card, even if you select "same as billing address" or whatnot, the form requires you to fill out an address before submitting. In fact, i couldnt get this part of the experience to work at all. Please fix!
Horrible. App would not allow me to login by either registering or using the lost password function. Instead, receive email to call toll free number for 24-hour support. Customer service agent stated that one needed to send an email message that would get a reply in 24-48 hours. Customer service could also not register my Delta Record locator, so I would not beable to receive any text notifications regarding trip disruptions. Do not use Allianz for travel insurance. They are the worst.
Downloaded - 5 min. later uninstalled Unable to setup account... Allowed me to enter my email and setup a password to cheat an account. Then they sent a verification code which I entered (correctly) whithin 45 seconds but was rejected, had it resent but the same story. Can't sign in as guest, so no way to access what you're looking for.
Travel insurance. Easy to use App. Primary coverage for rental car. Much cheaper than the one pushed by rental car companies. What credit cards don't tell you is that they are secondary rental insurance. Meaning you have to use YOUR car insurance first.
I downloaded the app because my family bought an insurance policy for our upcoming trip to Mexico. When I logged in, I could see a previous policy I bought three years ago. However, when I entered the details for the upcoming trip, I got an error message that the policy could not be found. Not to mention their version of customer service is to ask you to send an email.
I have found this app extremely unhelpful. Currently I was looking for a physician, but you cannot find the app. Every time I try I am told it is on my smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8, but cannot find it. At one try oh, it said it would be downloaded soon but it never happened. Last year when I required use of the app, in Sevilla, the information about physicians proved worthless and I instead had to follow the recommendation of the concierge in my hotel. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed at the app, the download process, and the insufficiency of information provided.
I created an account earlier today via browser on my desktop. I allowed several hours for the system to update, then tried to log in multiple times. I know my login credentials are correct because I use a password manager. This is crazy because I was able to log out and then log in via my desktop computer. Isn't this app supposed to be for customer service?
unlike some of the other reviewers, I had no problems installing, using my password or using this app. once I logged in it immediately located my trip. I haven't traveled yet so I can't comment on the service but the app itself is working just fine.
This app is useless. I'm on a delayed flight and I purchased wifi in order to see if my delay is covered but I can't access anything. I created an account, confirmed my email, but I cant log in because "something went wrong."
My friend couldnt make it to a concert so i had to insure a ticket and althought the process was pretty annoying and i had to restart the claim a few times, I got my money back within HOURS even though it said SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS. Was very pleased with that result. Make the claim filing process easier and more user friendly and i would be happy to give 5 stars.
Dud work! But now it closes when selecting a airport in flight search! Since update does not work properly! Sent more info to email address! App freezes when selecting a airport, then closes!
Abysmally Shameful Failure: CONFLICT OF INTEREST/ BORDERLINE SCAM: Do not ATTEMPT to file a claim through this app. It will clear all your claim information if you don't finish quickly; If you open the app again from the home screen; or If you close the app. Then once all your data is filled for the 5th time, and you finally get to the part where you upload the recipes, it will not allow any uploads, and dumps your data again! Had to file my claim online after 2 hours WASTED!
How 'diligently' is the team working to correct downloading problems for this app? It said it was downloading to my samsung. After the message that it WAS downloaded, I was/am unable to find it. I tried to download it a second time and i got the message that I had no device(s) to which it could be downloaded. What gives?
Worthless. Like many others have reported, I can't log in. I have a working account on the TravelSmart site but when I try to use it with this app it just says "something went wrong". Yeah, something went wrong, like installing this useless app on my phone.
DO NOT use this company. They're an absolute SCAM. 0 STARS!!! I have been trying to get refunded almost $200 for a concert ticket I purchased back in AUGUST & they still haven't given me my money back! All they say is I need to keep sending in the same receipt over & over again. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Now that I've left this review, I'm contacting the BBB!! CRIMINAL SCAM ARTISTS!!
Goodmorning, I downloaded the app, but have never received the email to confirm. I checked spam folder as well. With that being said, I am unable to log in until I confirm the email sent from you.
Login issues apparently haven't been fixed yet in 2022. Can't log in even though my email and password work fine on their website. (Their mobile website does seem fully functional though.)
Created account and can't log in. Keeps saying "sorry something went wrong" I can log in fine on the website with the same credentials. Useless app.
Downloaded today. Couldn't log in even when I changed my PW since it wouldn't recognize my first one. All of a sudden, I was in and was trying to edit the wrong birthdays and put in cruise and airline info. Wouldn't save my airline flight data and then gave me a page of very confusing error messages. This app is worthless. Will just call or email them if I need anything else. Don't waste your time.
