This app does its purpose. Showing the time the aligners are out is a plus. But it takes too long to open, so long that I start doing something else and end up not starting/stopping the timer. Also, is there a way to change the tab on starting? Making the timer the first thing to appear would also save time.
Reminders do not come regardless of all settings to allow them to come. So you can end up wearing for 3 or 4 weeks of you forget. When you enter the app manually, it is really hard to understand if you already need to change or not
The app has become very slow and laggy after the most recent update. Otherwise it's great, but it's a pain to use now due to the poor performance. Oh and it would also be great if the app could add a new type of reminders for telling me that it's time to replace my elastics. I have to replace them every two hours, so having a reminder would be helpful.
It is very efficient and easy to use. But It gets boring to open app and click timer every time. Do you have a chance to implement rest api for start-stop timer? So I can automate this process with my home-automation tools.
**edit 2022-01-26**: It still feels the same on my Pixel 3a. Five seconds from the moment i hit the app-icon 'til the ~0.75 second fade out starts. So almost 6 seconds until i can use the app. I don't know why splash-screens trigger me so hard, lol, but they always have in the nearly 25 years i work with computers, etc. I already know your logo. I just identified it with my eyes and brain and then i touched it with my finger. Why do i have to look at it for 5 more seconds?! I mean, huge companies like google or amazon spend millions of dollars to reduce loading-times by milliseconds and small companies think: "we spent 200 dollars on that logo-artwork and now we gonna make you watch!" ^^ **original comment** I'd happily pay for this app if there was a way to disable the splash-screen. I'm probably going to use this app for years(?) and i certainly don't want to look at a 5 second logo and the following fade-out for a thousand times (3 a day x 365 days). That's *hours* of logo-watching a year, lol.
TM has stopped working on my device, an LG v20, since yesterday. Please help. Generally the app is good but a little laggy, UI is slick, photo feature is amazing.
I really like the app except for a few things that make it less user friendly. 1) The reminder for the tray timer is essentially silent. I have to set another timer as well which is annoying 2) The time is off on my clock and I have no idea how to fix it. I did turn my phone on/off. No fix 3)It isn't easy to change the time manually in the event you forget to turn it off. Like most everything else. Thanks
Here's a list of what I can't do with this app-go back and clear out the days of non-use while i figured out how to use it - enter the time I was supposed to wear each aligner rather then go back into each and every one and reset it. And the biggest problem - if there was ever an app that needs a widget to make it easy to turn on and off, this is it. Way too many taps and time every time you open it.
I wanted to like and keep using this app, but just for tray change reminders and progress pictures. You can't disable the timer, so if you don't use that feature, you get bad data on the calendar. I had it "paused' and then saw 2 weeks of red on the calendar as if I hadn't been wearing my trays. Leaving it on play would have been just as inaccurate. It's a small thing but felt bad enough that I decided to remove the app.
I just started my Invisalign a week ago. The dental office suggested the Invisalign app. I read the reviews & decided to try this one instead. It's easy to use. The initial setup was a little challenging, but I figured it out & got my times set right. I tap the timer when I remove them (eating and brushing) and when I wear them again. You can set a reminder when you remove them & it will alert you. If I have issues, I'll update my review. This is great for us newbies! 😄
Nearly perfect! This app helps me make sure I have my aligners in 22/ day. Before I was just guessing. Now I know for sure! I like that I can edit my times if I forget to pause or play and I can see weekly progress. And I love the reminder to change my aligners weekly. 2 things were it could improve and I'll edit my review if/when resolved... 1. The reminder alerts have sound and not just vibration, bc I've had my aligners out too long due to this and 2. have the circle be red when paused.
It assumes you didn't wear your aligners at all before you opened the app for the first time, leaving a bunch of red days on the calendar. Also? You can't change your hour goal. It's set to 20 and theres no way to change it, even though it's super common to need 22 hours. Edit: you can adjust your wear time goals, it's just under "adjust color codes" for some reason.
The app works, but could be easier to use. Would be great if there was simply an on and off button to push and it would log your times vs. having to input them manually each time. Also, I switch aligners on Sunday nights, but can't get it to adjust to the right day - keeps telling me to switch on Mondays since I started my treatment on Monday so that feature isn't super helpful.
Overall ok, but would like to see improvement in functionality. A manual entry option that is easier to use would be great. I forgot to indicate when I put my aligners back in and it was complicated trying to get my times back in order. Also, I set notifications to put them back in but never actually get a reminder...
The app has the potential to be great but it is super annoying, at times. It loads very slowly, does not register "not wearing" sometimes, does not count the days correctly to where you have to change your trays. I must wear mine for 12 days but the app keeps telling me to switch out my tray after 10 days... Overall, it is a fun app but it's so incredibly slow that it hurts.
