Great app. I'm doing the None to Run, on week 7 now and I use the custom feature to input each weeks workout. the beeps are great at telling me when my interval changes from walking to jogging. The only thing I would like would be a finishing indicator that provides a different bleep tone or sequence so I know I've finished the workout as im not using this on a treadmill but outside and my phone is in my pocket.
Doesn't take up too much space. It does have preset workouts but it also has the capability for you to create your own which is just what I needed. Such a capability works well for an advanced beginner, intermediate, or advanced runner who already has training ideas.
Might be OK for advanced runners, but the Tabata mode on a treadmill (20 second run, 10 second rest) doesn't allow time for a treadmill to rise and fall to and from a speed, when you're running 14km/h and have to then take it slow for 10 seconds, a lot of treadmills take more than that 10 seconds to slow safely to the slower speed, so essentially there is no rest period. Feels like a cookie cut app, info just stuck in with no thought of its use.
Good app overall. Import doesn't seem to recognize the *.csv files the app exports. So transferring devices is problematic. The share feature does nothing.
Pretty useless app to be honest. The controls and features of this app are okay but I don't have enough control over my custom workouts. these people have no idea what a beginner workout is. I'm no stranger to the gym and people who are overweight cannot run 7 minutes straight, walk for 1 minute, and then run for another 7. I can do everything this app can do in my head while I'm running so there's no point in having this app I'm deleting it.
Excellent app for everyone including beginners. If you can't stuck with the beginners then you shouldn't be getting out of bed as so easy to do. Nice voice commands.
So I just got treadmill for me and this app is perfect to start running on it. I am 32 5.1 197lb and I hate running, not to mention that last time a ran is was very long time ago! This app gives you opportunity to start. Do not read whinny review below with one star those people obviously stay under beginning stage for years! There is 10 mins warm up at 1.9 then two 4 mins run at 4.6 and 5.3 with 1 min break. It is very ideal to get your body to what jogging and sprinting should be!
In case you missed the other reviews, this is NOT for beginners! The 1st workout is a 10 minute warm up followed by 7 minutes of jogging/sprinting. Then 1 minute of walking, and another 8 minutes of jogging/sprinting. On what planet is this a beginner workout?!
I have just started on beginner level, to be honest it's a really good workout. I'm not sure how it progresses but for now its good. You do not a level of fitness to start with
Not for beginners!! Do not use this app if you are just beginning running! The first workout has you running/jogging for 6 minutes straight with a 1 minute walk then back to running. AGAIN!!! NOT!!! FOR!!! BEGINNERS!!! 😡😡😡😡
This app is pretty much terrible but I won't delete it only because I want to push myself but I even found begginers mode is really hard and challenging to be honest my legs were really sore and I didn't feel to well and that was only part 7/15 so if you are only trying to start off I do not recommend this app
Im in love with the app i wish you could do one for the stairmill . I use this app also for it but it would be easier if there was a stairmill version of it esp. For the calorie count when connecting with google fit app
I love this app I use it eveytime I go on the treadmill . The only complaint I have is you can't change the speed while you have the timer on .
!!WARNING To first time treadmill's!! This app is great for beginners but I suggest walking for 30mins to 1 hours everyday for the first week before using this app. Get your body used to the walking before you run or jog.
Not exactly what I was looking for they started running I'm a senior I can't run on my feet.

Exectly what I was looking for. While it desn't control the treadmill the voice output for change speed and incline means I can use the workouts with any treadmill. One minor thing I noticed in the interface is using a phone with a 5" display the incline setting is partially obscured by yhr upcoming segment. You can export/import custom workouts but it would be nice to have a feature to sync with Google drive, to serve as a backup.
