First Jim Hawkins must avoid Blind Pew to board the good ship Hispaniola.Then he has to avoid capture having heard the crew's mutinous plans. Oncethese challenges have been overcome the main game can be played on TreasureIsland itself.
The quest for the treasure starts at the stockade which the adventurers havebuilt on the island. Then whilst tackling the evil murderous pirates Jim mustfind Ben Gunn's cave. The chase and search takes place upon an attractive'Treasure Map' which is displayed on screen in sections. There are a total ofsixty-four sections to play through.
Once Ben Gunn's cave has been found the treasure is located, and must then betaken to the ship which is anchored in Spy Glass Cove, to complete the arcadeadventure.
At the end of each game a percentage score will be given which reflects thespeed and fighting spirit with which it was played. Treasure Island can beplayed time and time again to attempt to reach a 100 per cent score, whichrepresents total player perfection.

Was going well and collected 94% of goodies plus the treasure. John john silver didn't chase me back to the ship so i can't complete the game per the original. Is it me or is the game incomplete?
Good app can not complete can't get 5he ghost to chase me back 2 the ship fix this glitch and it's a 5 star all day long

Ok so I had this game on the Commodore plus 4, and as this is the only version I could find. I've got to say that it is very similar and reminds me of the good old days. Plays well and the original spirit and experience of the game is still there. 5 stars!
Throw knife key is a wierd button on bottom left of screen otherwise perfect!

Loved this game It was the first game I ever completed as a kid and now get to play it again 30 years later.
Disappointed. Tried several times on this. I wasted all my time on this just for nothing to happen. I got to 99% score and here I am thinking I needed to kill one more enemy or get one more item, but there was nothing remaining because I collected everything and the treasure. As the 3 other people who rated this and said this game is incomplete, they are right. This game is incomplete. The ship is impossible to get to because the sand is still there blocking it ðŸ˜
