The goal is to cross the battlefield and enter the enemy camp. Doing so will require careful unit recruitment and strategic advancement timing.
Units are recruited and controlled by pressing the buttons at the top of the corner and money is rewarded for eliminating enemies and destroying bunkers. Using artillery well, can be easy way to mastering the battlefield!
Enemy attacked your trench by gas? Deliver gas masks to your soldiers as fast as possible, before they die! There is no way to continue your offensive? Use airstrike to clear enemy trenches before you assault them! There is always way to win! If you choose your tactics wisely, world war 1 could be blitzkrieg in the end! Just remember, never give up and hold your trenches till the last one!

Great game, although the campaign could be longer. Still, my biggest complaint is the lack of flak, or any kind of anti-air for that matter, planes become too much of a problem during survival to the point where even if you make a great defense in depth, a lucky airstrike of a squadron of 2-3 planes can wipe out 60-70% of all your buildings and troops
Overall i like it just one problem for me was with survival that it is impossible to shoot down planes with just means that my defences get destroyed quicker dan i can rebuild them. This happens in wave 4 and onward. i would also like to see more units and different units for different countris because at the moment it is pointless to play as different countries
Unsatisfying, beating the levels is way too easy , no real strategy needed. Just spam the first unit and you can pretty much defeat any level. Not bad for spending ylur time on the bus and etc. But it leaves you with a feeling of unfulfillement with how easy it is. Would be much better if you had an option to raise difficulty where the money you get is less for every kill or the enemies are stronger.
Amazing just amazing,it has defense mode which is very fun and the gameplay is great! Can you make a update that has anti-aircraft in the defense mode like artillery it has a reload time I think it does anyway but make it tho,my hands hurt from clicking the planes as they get stronger and stronger lol,EDIT:Theres also WAY like WAY too many planes in the defense mode at level 20 please add anti-aircraft them planes are too annoying,they like way too OP and clicking them is very annoying.
It's fun, but way too easy. My tactic for litterally the entire game (which took a week at a casual pace to complete) was just to launch air strikes untill all the bunkers, gas and artillery was gone and use the money gained to spam out a few hundred riflemen to sweep across. Fun, but very basic.
Review including December 2019 update: An amazing game. Not graphically amazing, but with plenty of fun in the mechanics. Occasional bugs and crashes can be annoying but, with how fast games are (5 minutes is pretty long), it's not too annoying.
This game would be most suited for people who are into history. But the game can be won quickly. if i could change it i would add a cutscene or a flag of the opposite army on the end of the final level Overall good game
Funny and nice game! I liked especially Czechoslovakian sniper unit on Russian side:) It really warmed my heart. From technical point of view would be nice to have button for retreat as well as for advance. As well as possibility to "lock" trench to keep smooth advance, without rolling screen back and forth. And if the Russian plane would be Ilya Muromets...:)))
I remember the flash game related to this called 1917 or something like that. This game is fun but it feels bare bones. Needs more levels with harder difficulty and upgrades. I completed the game within about an hour. Again a good time waster and fun game otherwise.
an interesting concept however the lack of controll is frustrating, the graphics look like something a kid drew in microsoft paint and the gameplay in uningaging. Try it because it's free but that's it. Terrible.
This game is a game of strategy.A game like T.A.B.S (totally accurate battle simulator) except only story mode.U have the choice to be either Russia or Germany, each having their own story (broke down into levels up to 20).In these levels, you'll have 201 coins to spend on different soldiers and as u pass more levels u gain permanent coin.There is also a survival mode where u are the defending side (you'll know what I mean if you download the game) where u can place large and small bunkers.
I do enjoy the game a good time waster especially survival. In survival taps should be upgraded as well for healing and dmg like if a tap does so much dmg or healing one upgrade is worth an extra .25 pnts of healing or dmg so you can easily help fend off planes or heal machine gunners and bunkers. Also machine gunners should also be able to take down aircraft.
A fairly good game that does a good job of creating a semi-realistic version of WW1. Could use some sort of online multiplayer that is like the survival mode with a pre-planned defense made by the defender.
It is way to easy. i mean you get money fast and you get a load of troops on the field and win like that. and very little troop variety. I played one ww1 trench game that gave you tanks, planes, officers, other land vehicles and artillery. it was genuiny challenging.
Great fun stategic game. For those struggling on higher levels here is a tip. Wait till they pack up their trenches and cross areas with lots of bunkers. Hit them with artillery. Off of one hit you'll get tons of points to spend and you can keep hitting with arty until you have 300+ points to dump on an assualt force which you can clear them out with.
i like the overall game, although survival mode is ridiculous. i only left one star in the hopes this would be seen- planes are too powerful. there is no defense against them. in the overall game, the balance is that planes are very expensive and rarely purchased. however, in survival mode, planes are part of the wave. by wave 6, the enemy is sending two planes a round. this absolutely destroyed my defensive line. planes are far too powerful, and there needs to be a defense against them.
