Trend Micro WiFi Protection Security Wifi Anywhere

Iv been compromised!. I paid so much for Trend Micro WiFi and Trend Micro Security and now I've been compromised I'm not happy about it, apparently this was supposed to be a really good security app for mobile. My wifi keep turning off straight after I turn it on. It keeps asking for permission in the app. And Trend Micro Security two thing in the app keep turning off!. I have spoken to Trand Micro Security support in the past about the matter but it hasn't been resolved!.

In my opinion this is the best on the market. One time I tried everything to get rid of an irritating advertisement that kept popping up on my Samsung Note 8, no luck. Only when I installed Trend Micro on my phone I was able to get rid of it. Before Trend Micro installed itself it was able to spot the virus and removed it. Now it's running on all my IT equipment even on my home WI-FI network.

Disconnects constantly on my phone. However, it works well on my laptop. Perhaps this isn't the best VPN for mobile devices. At least that's what it looks like the to me.

Struggled with applying permissions. App is telling me to "continue" but unclear about what needs doing... Installed on mobile. Tablet installation was very easy but not on phone.

Not really computer literate, so not really sure what is protected or not. It is very complicated to understand and navigate. Guess I was expecting to purchase and all features would be turned on, and problems would be resolved automatically. Instead I had to download to many features, and there isn't any way for me to know if they are even working.

They all tell you that their VPN is the but that is OK. That is marketing. I am on a 7 day trial and notice that no information is provided as to which type of protocol is used. It's speed is a little below average. Even Proton free VPN gives you way better speed and better security. And there are No special features either than just a connection. It's really just a bare minimum VPN. If I should use this it'd be better I use a free VPN...

Works but not as I expected. I've added networks to be on the list of unknown and un-trusted networks but have not experienced VPN turning on automatically. One time it did. About a dozen it did not. VPN is off at home, which is good, but it's not reliable to turn on by itself. Subscribed as I need a VPN for traveling. It seems to tie in with the security suite somehow. There are not many VPN apps that have this feature. I figures better to have it than not.

It disconnects from time to time. Unlike others hold a connection for hours and even days.

It protects my mobile devices, as described, my only issue is understanding some things when I start clicking button, but thats more my fault because I haven't educated myself, & I get frustrated on diving deeper into app. Some of the VPN setting are hard to understand, & don't function to when I try. Connect the VPN.

Not a happy customer. I brought my trend micro security program at my local Optus store. Because I was paying for this service on my monthly bill from Optus. I made an assumption that Optus knew what kind of product this was. I was having issues well signing into my account, something was constantly wrong. I would contact support they would provide me with assistance however things were changed afterwards without consent. I am no longer paying for this program. I want it gone!

Seriously this is the absolute worst WiFi protection app I have delt with , I now use a free one , all this does is slow your connection if it connects to your net work at all ! 2 years now for a paid service , and it is truly rubbish ! with out dout this DOES NOT OPPERATE ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! ABSLOUTE RUBBISH BE WARNED. update 18/02/22 can u belive it , its TRULY GETTING EVEN WORSE , CAN NOT STRESS TO POTENTIAL VICTIMS ENOUGH , DO NOT PURCHASE. DONT GIVE ANY INFO TO THESE PEOPLE CAUTION

This app does not work on all Wi-Fi networks. I have tried it with several Wi-Fi spots both public and private, as well as my own home Wi-Fi. I keep getting a message saying that the network is not supported, try another network. Luckily, i am only using the trial period. As a result, i will not purchase a subscription for this program.

Good for managing my home network. It would be nice to have a browser interface for it as well. The app could use a little more clarity in describing how to use features and providing information about my network.

This app is incompatible with Samsung s20+. When I use the app, it will connect to vpn but disconnect within a few minutes and the app will close by itself. Kind of disappointing as I am a supporter of trend micro for more than 10 years.

I have been using Trend Micro anti-virus software for quite a few years and I can honestly say that I have never run into any kind of major problem. Needless to say, I tried multiple programs other than Trend Micro. When it was all said and done, I decided to go with Trend Micro and I have stayed with Trend Micro without any regrets.

I am having the same problem as others where it says "downloading certificate" on both my mobile and tablet. Disconnected and can't get passed this. Don't know what to do when I'm not very technical savvy. Subscription was renewed in Sept. Worked ok till few days ago.

I would like to register this program with the code for my Trend Micro WiFi protection program, but no option is shown.

You wouldn't want to use your phone without Trend and VPN Proxy One Pro.

This app takes care of everything for you once you schedule without constant notifications. You set Scanning schedule and you only get notifications if it finds a problem. Love it!!!

i hope there is a refund policy. i purchased a subsciption and when i try to turn on free wifi the qpp shuts off. i get a message saying trend micro has turned off do i want to wait or turn off app. i go to your support page and all the info is in asian. i click on english only to get everything in half english and half asian. i tried to contact you through email. and to input simple information like email.address its gives me red flag saying input is wrong whats really going on.

Well thoughtout and wonderfully designed app. I have tried several wifi protection app on my phone and Trend Micro's is the only one that has made it past the first day. Its simple to use and all the features one needs to keep there personal information safe and out of the hands of those who have been mineing public wifi network for the data they need to steal users identities and ruin good peoples live. Seems to work well have not used before so I am making my judgement based🙂 on your products I have been using for several years. Thank you for (GREAT PROTECTION SOFTWARE!) VERY APPRECIATIVE CUSTOMER. App is garbage. It inexplicably does not connect to any server. Says Connected for literally 1ms and then goes Disconnected. You had one job!

The app is now working well after I receive an update. I did send you 2 emails in response to your reply as requested but it seems you did not want to reply. I would've given you 5 stars but customer service is not your strong point.

Trend Micro Maximum Security is unmatched in superior protection, have had it for 20 + years. Many viruses have attacked, but none survive. Full updates and notifications keep our devices safe.

Paying for it and not getting to use it still stuck with that 7-Day trial app and I've been paying for this damn thing for a long time. Didn't want to go to complain nobody's there for on chat

Hacker would prevent correct installation of this program by using a Remote Access Tool, I can't even go to main menu. Please investigate this matter I can provide systems log if you would help guide me through it. Thanks.

Connection does not hold abd app keep crashing

Thanks for the response. The VPN is now working and connecting to the New Zealand server, where I am. It fixed itself a week after the app update. Now working normally and reliably.
