My finger print to login to my account stops working after a while, states authentication required. So then I have to manually enter. Deleted app several times, Still happens. Just frustrating!

I have mine set up my app to enable fingerprint login but it only works a time or two then requires authentication. Even after I authenticate it makes me type login info every time after that. So I have to Uninstall and reinstall weekly.

I love using the Tri City Mobile App! I don't get any ads while I use it. All of the functions of this app are easy to find and use. Checking my balances and transferring money are done in just a few clicks that takes a matter of seconds. If I ever need help I can call the customer help line who directs me to an actual person. Their customer service is excellent! They get the job done quickly and correctly. Tri City has been my first and only bank since I was 16(for 15years)!

When it allows my fingerprint, it's great. But about once a week, it can't load the fingerprint authentication & registers a failed authentication. In the process of getting my password copied from my password app, another failed auth. attempt. When I finally get in, I have to answer security questions and re-register my phone. It's very irritating! If it would consistently read my fingerprint, or if it didn't register an auth failure when it lost focus, it would be fine.

I used the old version and liked it. The new version with all these useless verfication questions is terrible. I installed it, gave it a test run and now it is unistalled. Usability is a nightmare, who ever designed it has still to learn how to create a user friendly application. Did this app undergo any user acceptance testing at all? Back to do electronic banking from the PC. The check deposit feature is useless. The app takes the front and back pictures always blurry and then rejects the deposit. Taking the pictures without the app, they are sharp and crisp. Disappointing.

I would put the CONTINUE button at the lower right corner because that's where most apps have that or an arrow to move to the next action. When the page comes up for one to enter the amount of the check to be deposited, I would not make it the middle box. I would make it the first box and surrounded by a thicker rule on four sides so one sees it right away, and doesn't go past that step, the first time.

So, usually I was able to sign in just fine with fingerprint. Then it stopped out of nowhere....well, finally I thought to disable the option in the settings and then re-enable the option to login with fingerprint. And after that, the fingerprint login option has been working flawlessly again.

Website is slow especially when using mobile deposit/camera views. I also tend to have to reinstall as fingerprint does not work all the time.

The only thing that is wrong is I only got to use the fingerprint to log in twice. And now it wants me to type in my password all the time. It's annoying if I am trying to check my account when I am out and about. Other than that everything is fine.

I'm coming from us bank.. lovedddd their app.. this app.. I can't deposit a check from my phone .. I can't even set a notification for when money is spent.. there's no option for alerts?? I went to settings.. I went to more.. nowhere is a setting for alerts.. I may changes banks just because of this!

It would be super amazing if the app would send a notification to let you know if you become overdrawn. I understand that the bank needs to make some cash, but during a freaking PANDEMIC it would have been useful to know that one of my accounts became overdrawn and I incurred TWO overdraft fees when there was more than enough to cover it in my other account. Thanks for taking $70 from an unemployed single mother of three special needs kids. You're super awesome.

The app is getting worseThis app was great until this last update. It now requires me to answer random security questions EVERY time i try to log in. Like "what color is your car?" I have more than one car, If I guess the wrong one I am locked out and it takes a half hour on the phone with customer service to get unlocked. I can now get in the car and drive 5 miles to the bank faster than I can use the mobile app. This new version is TERRIBLE AND USELESS!!!! Do NOT waste your time with this one.

So many features are out of date. Business and personal should be smoother on the app. Zelle services should work on both sides of the App much easier. Sign in is often kluny and difficult. Having to reset PW all the time. Just an inferior product compared to Chase. Go back to the drawing board.

1 year later and the app is stale still. They've even added new features that don't work. What's the purpose of adding finger print authentication if you are still prompted to manually enter credentials afterwards? O wouldn't be so critical but no one has reached out in the space of an entire year.

Does not accept photos of checks regardless of black background, bright lighting, and a steady clear shot. Very disappointed. Also tricity doesn't even allow checks to be deposited at their own atms. Tricity needs to wake up on technology because its at developing nation status.

the app is extremely slow. cannot even load the login screen. once its up everthing is fine. but very inconvinient to use especially when one wants to know their balance at a moments notice. using chrome is much faster. uninstalling this app.

Archaic way of setting up, inconvenient. Even website doesn't show all transactions when using phone. Highly unrecommended. Will be moving business to Chase bank! App states does not recognize phone number, but settings all match (online and be e he rn called bank). Complete waste. Really disappointed. (Appreciate Terri W review! Same thing but my bank is next door to me... Still locks me out). About business here.

The most annoying app to try to sign into. Google has my password saved so all I do is hit the link but Tri-City won't accept that. I have to delete the last character of my password re-put it in then hit okay, then hit that I know I'm not signing in by a fingerprint then hit okay again.. OKAY

Since the last update in July, I have had more problems than ever with this app. Tried to get on there to move some money and it's telling me there's an update, but it's not updating. Never had any issues prior to the July update. This is really frustrating.

over all not bad - provides the info & services i request in a straightforward nature...knocked a star off though because as of late the login process has gotten drawn out. up until a month or so ago, i was able to sign in via biometrics. then, for no discernable reason, i started to get the "error" message stating "authentication required" that i have to click through before i can type in my password...like what happened?!? and...it's been a month, authenticate yourself already, would ya?!?

Tri City has been our bank for over 20 years & they are awesome! They're digital services are the best & secure. If I call customer service, they are friendly & quickly handle my question/concern. I feel very safe with TriCity.

Was fine until resent update. Now inconsistencies; check deposit doesn't work well; buttons keep disappearing and reappearing. Wasting time, should just go to the bank.

The old version worked great. Since the update I can do literally nothing in the app but see my balance. It's horrible. Please fix ASAP as I now have to go to my laptop anytime I need to do any online banking. Not helpful if I'm out and about.
