I like this game, and I play it a lot. The reasons I'm giving it 3 stars are as follows: the ads are super annoying. They go on for too long, or hide the x to close it, or need to be closed twice. The in-game currency cannot be used to buy anything except for different color schemes, and once you have them all no more are added, making the currency literally useless. The only color scheme I find useable is a cat theme with muted colors. All of the other ones hurt my eyes
It's a good game, except for ads that suddenly stop the game while you are placing a piece. It also suddenly opens Google Play store and flips between 2-3 apps in the store and won't stop. Had to reset my phone because it wouldn't let me close it or stop it. Happened a second time, same thing. On the third time, I thought I'd drop my review here and delete the app. I don't mind ads, but this is far and beyond insane.
Great action, but the requirement to clear all three pieces given on every draw, before any more are given, causes the premature end of nearly every game. If the pieces were given one at a time, as pieces were cleared - as it is in other, similar, games - then the play could be extended dramatically. I do like the shapes and the manner of play, but the three-at-a-time and clear-them-all requirement just ruin it. Just one piece that doesn't fit what you've built kills the whole thing.
Simple yet challenging, my #2 puzzle game ever, Kami 2 is #1. I paid $3 nearly 3 years ago for ads free. I've had no ads and no issues with lagging/crashing since. They've also never asked for more money once the $3 was paid, unlike 99% of the "free" games out there. However, the game's algorithm needs work. Luck is too much of a factor, skill is not rewarded enough. And once I've gotten enough rubies for all the skins, I get a new phone and they don't carry over. Otherwise, would be 5 stars.
This USED TO BE a wonderful game, up until the last update about a week ago. Smooth, easy to use interface. NOW with the addition of in-game banner ads, the app is unplayable. It hangs and glitches repeatedly. I finally gave up and had to uninstall. Remove the ad banner addition... stick to the occasional ad page/videos, and I'll re-download. This game WAS great for plane trips!
The concept of the game is simple, kind of Tetris but in a hexagon shape. The reason it's just OK though is the fact that it's purely down to luck if you can keep going. On too many occasions I've been given shapes that don't give me the chance to clear lines and it's beginning to seem like it's a design feature given how reliably bad the next set of shapes are.
Love it WHEN it works. Lately it closes randomly forcing me to start over. The game is also really slow, and has a significant drag to the movement. I tried updating, clearing the cache, force stopping it, Uninstalled/Reinstalled and sent numerous reports, but to no avail. I have to admit I'm going to miss the (working) version of the game.
This is actually a pretty fun puzzle game. Unfortunately, as noted in other reviews, the lag that results as the ads attempt to change at the bottom of the screen make it unplayable. And this on a Galaxy Note8 with strong wifi and otherwise decent upload/download speeds. If they fixed the ad issue, I would probably reconsider installing again. But for now, it isn't worth the frustration of the misplaced pieces. Uninstalled after 1 full day of playing.
I used to love this game. But since the last update I have gotten increasingly frustrated with it. The shapes are not going where I put them. They will jump to a nearby position, which won't be the optimal placing that I saw. This is no good. Also, the shapes offered will appear in batches of similar shapes. For example the circular shape will be offered twice out of three shapes and again the next turn. 8t is impossible to fit that many unless it is the beginning of the game. Please fix these!
I love the game but... 1. I wish they kept 3 pieces visible at all times. When you put one on the board, another one pops up immediately instead of waiting until all 3 are used. So you can plan better. 2. It force stops all the time in the middle of the game 😤 3. It is not random. It gives you pieces you can't use when you have gone too long.
I love this game it's very addictive. I just wish there were music. The only problem I have experienced lately has been when I move a piece onto the board the game shuts down. Then I open the app I and have to start the game again. I have to keep uninstalling it and installing it to keep it working.. Happened again. Finally got the game to work again. It worked for a few months. Now it's back to glitching. Which is too bad as when it works properly it is addictive. FIX IT PLEASE!!!!
This is a great game but it started dropping my games in the middle of play and it was doing it so much that I had to try uninstalling, and...we'll see! Also what the heck are the diamonds for?? ....So I've given it some more time - it's just gotten worse. It's a drag when you go pretty far in the game and it dumps you out if it, saying the app has stopped running. That's happening every time now.
5 star when you turn wifi off and 3 star when it is on. When internet is on the moving of the pieces is super laggy and jarring and can lead to misplacing pieces. If you want to play this game play with wifi off. This also means the ads dont pop up. But if they cant make their game functional when wifi is on an offline game just to allow ads, then they should work on fixing that before expecting someone to allow ads to play so they get money. Otherwise the game is great!!
I really love these kinds of games. This would be a great one if it worked correctly. It suddenly stops and closes out and sometimes freezes up your phone. It eats up the battery so quickly you have to charge your phone while playing . It also heats up your phone to the point you have to turn it off and let it cool down . Please work the bugs out as I would love to reinstall this.
The game is fun to begin with, but it consistently gives you blocks you cannot use, which purposely makes you lose. That doesn't make it challenging, it makes it frustrating to constantly lose knowing that you don't get the necessary blocks to be successful. The game life is too short and finally you just give up on the game because it's rigged for you to lose within 4 minutes or less time that you play the game. So, I'm uninstalling after a year of having this game use up precious space.
Pros: very challenging. I love how this game is not simple, it challenges you to slow down and place each piece with thought. I also play 1010! but you have to pay a buck to use the black coloring, with Trigon I got to use the grey coloring for free. The bright colors are hard on my eyes, so thanks for not making me pay. Cons: you always end up desperately needing single pieces but they almost NEVER give them to you.
I enjoy the game enough to keep it on my phone. Granted after each fail of the game I close it out to avoid the never ending advertising. However, lately the game is lagging and unresponsive. I've tried closing it out, restarting my phone, but with 80gbs of free space I doubt my storage is causing the issue. A quality patch would be lovely.
Love this game! Definitely one of my favorites. Relaxing and challenging at the same time. Lovely color palettes. Please please please keep it the way it is and refrain from junking it up with mini games, daily challenges, and other annoying click bait that has destroyed the enjoyment of so many other games I used to play.
I have paid for this game with no ads for twice for two different phones. I love this game wholeheartedly. I have played for over 4 years. My phone purged my data and now it says I have the no ad version but it is still giving ads. I don't want to stop playing this game because it helps with my anxiety and adhd but if this stays this way I have to be.
Very fun puzzler/time-waster with little in the way of ads or microtransactions. I've devoted hours to this game. My only gripes with the game are that the app takes up a lot more storage than it should ever need (over 100mb), there is no way to back up your progress to the cloud, and you can't save your highscores unless you sign-in with Facebook. Google Play Games integration for scoreboards and cloud saving has practically become a standard feature nowadays, so I would like to see that here.
I like the game a lot. It's definitely a great time consumer and challenging; however it freezes sometimes and then crashes mid game, and when I reopen the app it starts the game from the beginning and I lose my score. That's the only issue I have, other than that it's great
Nice game with potential, but the game play is not engaging. Once you reach mid point with challenging spaces left, the algoritham throws you two or three impossible pieces, thus killing the game pretty rapidly (most of the time!). The player is up against 3 unknown up coming pieces VS the algoritham knowing what spaces are left , so by giving impossible pieces with angles, it is as if to killing the game is the only purpose. It is almost sadistic, if you know what I mean!
Would be fun with consumable items. Pieces seem to be random, where at least one piece fits somewhere. But even if you place that piece carefully, it isn't always possible to clear out room for the second or third piece. This makes luck too big a consideration for whether or not you can keep going. Consumable items should allow you to clear a piece or a row, rotate a piece before playing it, or get a new set of pieces to play.
When I first got it, it worked well and was very addictive. Recently, I've noticed that there is a battery drain everytime I play and the initial opening of the game has this weird little scream‽ So weird I might just cut my losses of getting the ad free version and uninstall.
Fun game but very unstable. It stutters all the time - you have to try picking up the pieces two or three times and the moving them is usually difficult because it doesn't following your dragging motion well - and it crashes at least once during half an hour of play. If they sorted these problems out it would be great.
Changing my review for a few reasons. 1) Skill based game that intentionally limits your ability to clear lines so you feel forced to watch an ad to remove a certain colour from the game 2) Games are therefore very short and you're forced to watch an ad each time - every time the ad plays, it will pause ALL other audio so you can hear the same thing for the hundredth time. This dev used to make solid puzzle games but this one feels like they have gone full greed mode. Do not recommend.
This app is why I have trust issues. You are given 3 pieces at a time. When those are gone, you're given 3 more, almost guaranteed to be ones you don't need or can't fit, especially later in the game. There should be either an "assembly line" of pieces or even one at a time with a one piece preview. The good: very simple app. Great graphics, minimal sounds, variety of color themes, smooth gameplay. Ads aren't terrible, although repetitive. Good game and pro app but it's the restriction on puzzle pieces that have me out.
