Trinus VR

Saw people using it online, looked like a really nice way to try VR for cheap. Immediately bought it. After 3 hours trying to get it to work, I still couldn't connect to the PC server app. I have no clue what's wrong and tutorials are scarce and were made 2 years ago. On the website the guide is vague as possible, getting help online is basically throwing a message in a bottle to the sea. Most comments do not even have a single answer. It could be as easy to fix as pushing a button and you couldn't get it to work if you don't see the said button. We need a tutorial with pictures of the current version !

I am very happy with this app. I use it mainly for racing sims. I didn't have any issues with it connecting. Wi-fi, Bluetooth, or USB tether, all worked fine. I certainly had no problem with the image being upside down in SteamVR, but if it was, there seemed to be options for that. the program fully explains itself, just by holding the mouse pointer over anything for a second or two... I already had a decent droid phone ( Motorola E6), and two seprate sets of goggle, EvoVR, and a Tzumi Dream360. Each was about $20 at Walmart, - both super cheap. I tried out your 'Lite' version, my only disappointment was the 10-minute limit per use. So the very next day I bought a giftcard for GooglePlayStore, and bought it up. Again, super cheap to buy. Im very happy with this product, sorry others aren't. Please keep up the good work in software development, you do certainly have talent at it. Good luck and thankyou. Was good, now not working. PC app removed the setting page with the connection info. Worse it tries to run steamvr before the headset is even working! Making it impossible to troubleshoot. Can no longer setup, tried killing firewall. Tried port forwarding. This is the first time I have failed to setup this app in many years, if I can't do it I'll be surprised if somebody else can. Normally I wouldn't mind as this is beta but I paid for this app and it doesn't work. After years of working.

This app is actually rather impressive. Despite the fact that the software interface isn't very flashy or colorful, it simply WORKS! Not sure why everyone else is complaining about it. Take the time to set the proper adjustments and never look back. It's a super cheap way to experience VR without spending a grand buying a gaming PC and a VR rig. Props to the developers! If your the one who enjoy 3d virtual reality, Frankly, i had hard time figure out by my self all those settings, slide bar and witsh dose what etc, but once you get to know how to use it properly, results are simply amazing! I use a cheep LG lol and everything works 👌 but there's an issue with the stability of the mouse sencer on the yaw adjustment. It appears to be cosed by the split screen (the yaw value should be divided by 2 or multiplied by 2 to fit the pitch value. WoW! I love it !

For the way I use it which is HMD style headset with No Sensor mode, This is the cheapest way to do it. While VR is alright, this shine for playing and watching in "TV to your face" way. The 3D effects more obvious then actual vr headsets that's good because that was my idea when jumping in Trinus which delivered. My only issues desktop not finding my phone automatically but manual Set IP works. And Wi-Fi Hotspot doesn't work but gave me an idea to use my PC's mobile hotspot which helps!

Well the app worked great when it 1st started. I would play with steam games and non steam games and assigning head movements to the mouse with games like bioshock that would use the mouse to look around. Worked flawlessly after a few sensitivity tweeks without using steam. Now after making a few sensitivity adjustments after the update i find the mouse to stray on its own. Even when reset on a flat surface. It makes the games unplayable. I wish there would be an update that makes things go back to the way it was before when the app actually worked. Please trinus update your app and make it simple again. I was using a moto x pure, used it again for new update and now have an s9+. I would love to use this beautiful oled display on my games.

The experience is well worth it. I use spectrum services 100mbps internet and a $60 phone from dollar general while playing Black ops II and others lag free. Will be even more worth it when I purchase the Destek V5 with an Samsung S9 phone with a Void Pro Headset. Overall the experience has been satisfying. It pulls 18mbps with compression maxed out. Fake3D is on with motion boost on with max frames 70FPS. I use UHD Intel graphics on an 6 core i7 8th gen and 16GB Ram. Overall I would buy again.

I would have givin 5 stars & written a raving review...buuut...I bought this a few years ago when it was still largely in development & it used to work amazingly, hands down it was one of the top 3 apps on the google play store. I'd been using it for years & now all of a sudden I go to use it again after some time & a few updates & now it will not work... I keep getting the notification: "TGLIB Could not connect, is client started? If using USB verify that the drivers are up to date", etc.

is it not customary to provide a license key with the purchase of this app. the trail server worked now I cannot activate or use even in trail mode. ideally there would be a field indicating the license or a link, it just says" thanks for purchase" well yw.. and I timed out of the hoops to contact support on your site I'm sure it is all good but as a note make the email include some indication of what to even do having the full version on phone means nothing if the server is the license requiring componant

bought a new phone but for some reason when I try to use trinus it doesn't activate the vr anymore it just shows my computer as fullscreen with a black line in the middle. i can't use this app if this issue is not fixed. i have never had any issues before upgrading once this issue is fixed i will be fixing my review.

Very cool app!! I have a very cheap vr headset similar to Google cardboard. I didn't want to fork over the money for an expensive set I probably won't use. This app lets me emerge into my GeForce now, Stadia and Xbox game pass games and it does a pretty good job once the settings are dialed in.

Took a bit of tinkering in settings for my phone Note 20 ultra but once I had the hang of it I was quite impressed, played a few games from steam via network on carbord setting so far and for the money, its a great app to have, I even tried the app on a S6 Edge and it works on that too I am very pleased and for now its saved me forking out hundreds of pounds for a stand alone headset if you have any troubles just go to the help and it explains things there on the best ways to use your games

Wow! Wow! Wow! Did I say wow? Right off the bat, let me say this app is only as good as your setup. But even with an average PC, it takes first person player games to a whole other level. If you have a decent mobile VR setup and decent PC this is a great way to help edge you into VR PC gaming. Well worth the price. However, it is always best to try the free lite version first. Great app.

Just got this yesterday, was a little worried at first since It made my computer get the blue screen (some USB error) which is a first for me in windows 10, but after some adjusting I was able to get it working with Steam VR. Will mess around with it some more and see what I can do.

Would be amazing if it worked properly, but it's just time consuming, confusing, and just about every aspect is broken in some way. Not user friendly at all, extremely expensive, and overall just doesn't work how it's supposed to.

So I bought the full version, got to play atound with it. Absolutely awesome, however, I still get screen freeze after 90 seconds after purchase. I would love to communicate with the Dev over this.

It's great but the split screen for vr is not balance and some point I need to adjust it and my pc keep crashing for at least 30-40 mins in total I don't know why but pls fix it trinus you should add easier and understandable option for people to understand the setting

Works pretty well. You need a good phone tho. My S7 struggles a bit. You will need to spend a good 30 mins setting it up, playing with the settings etc.

I bought Trinusvr on January 8 2019, i have a problem. my vr (I am using my phone) doesn't stay on centre when I play a game vr. If I start I am watching straight forward as normal. But after a while I am looking sideways in game when I am looking forward in real life this is not exactly what I expected, and it can't be used now please turn on the "refund" button in my playstore

Works amazing...developers are geniuses, all i want is to stream my x box one in vr. takes some tweaking to get it right ..but i have faith I will get it just right .... excellent ... And maybe a request to these geniuses that have made this incredible app. If possible somehow make an app that would enable onecast for android in vr environment for hmd. There is a big demand for a vr app that just uses side by side in a android device. Without rooting

Never connected. Bought both the PC software and this and troubleshooted everything I could. The effort put into development for this is not worth $10.

The developers of this app are absolutely , unequivocally geniuses .I bought this after trying it out, and tweeking it until it met my liken . I primarily use it with it my Xbox one. Through the computer . My final wish before stating how amazing and awesome you all are, make onecast for Android vr I've tried . Now back to dealing with this damn hurricane coming.sandbags for days

I couldn't get games to show 3D depth. It just allowed me to strap the screen to my face at the cost of the width of my view (8:9 ratio). I got no benefits.

Barley works anymore. Setting it to Ultra glitches the screen. Quality goes down the drain. So, not recommended in its current state.

Scaling used to work fine. I bought the app years ago, and now it's still stable, but it will not stretch the windowed game properly. It used to but now does not... Well it looks like my money was wasted.

it's good app especially playing with nonVR games however when i play with steam vr, it crashes every 10mins and sometimes occurres the blue screen. i hope it will be fixed.

Please help!!! Was working fine, now it starts on Android with certain settings in menu already selected. When I try to change nothing happens. I enjoy app that's why I bought. Please fix!!!!!

Excellent, flawless, painless, and an all around amazing VR experience, for FAR less than any of the big-name setups.
