Updated edit: I really like this app, use it so much that ive purchased premium. However, lately info seems to be a bit off. Especially attractions entry fees. The most annoying thought is that every 5 seconds there's a pop up saying that "ive unlocked sygic". It drives me crazy. My notifications are off. Could you please remove that? Thanks.

A bit bare bones e.g. would like to add flight details. There doesn't seem to be a way to tell it which city you're staying in on a particular night, this means you're given incorrect weather forecast - I think it defaults to the first city in the itinerary. It's odd that I can add accommodation, but the destinations don't automatically update. ---------- The feedback was helpful thank you.

What a horrible waste of 20$! There is not much more you can do in the app than you can in Google maps for free! Meeting at a hotel? App makes you stay there. Going on a tour? No way to integrate without literally entering everything manually. Taking the train? No integration there either. Just shows where the bus and train stops are. Do yourself a favor and just download the offline version of the place in Google maps for free until they polish this app up SIGNIFICANTLY. Sigh.

It would be really great to be able to "copy/paste" days from one trip to another, especially in these times when we can travel but might be subject to last minutes changes. Also, walking pace is a bit too fast. I surely don't walk 6km an hour. Finally, 1 min timing would be nice as well, 5 min is a lot in my opinion. Other than that it is a really great app and I cannot see myself not using it to prepare my trips. Great way to have a view about the time needed.

How about a 1 day trial so I can see that you do have content in places I'm looking at before I'll purchase it? :3 Edit: thank you for the answer. Unfortunately many places lack photos and descriptions, which makes me go to google and Google maps. Additionally if I'd buy it, I still won't remember what was it when I'll be offline. The app is also a bit slow. What I like is the possibility to mark whole country as my destination. I think with time you may make it good, but now its not enough.

Good Concept with Poor Database. It is wonderful to plan itineraries and view in a map. Planning days is great. But unlike Google which has all info in the universe, this app has almost nothing useful. Finding restaurants, places, the stuff you need other than outdoor things, are little to non-existent in some places. I actually paid $10 because I liked the concept. Then discovered it is not as useful without data like Google. BTW, I also paid for Sygic Navigation App. May be not very wise!

Very good planner and travel companion, making good use of driving and public transport options as well as providing initial information on destination accommodation and sights. I haven't used the Premium version as I would only expect to use the app occasionally in my home country. However, a few years back I travelled from UK to Southern Italy and this app would have been a godsend for coordinating all the trip information in one place.

I purchased this app because I was quite happy with the GPS Navigation App from Sygic. This one, however, could be a lot better. Their database for tourist attractions and other things to do in certain areas is not very good. I live in Canada in the Vancouver area, and a number of the most prominent and interesting sites aren't even in their database. What I really miss is that there is no option that allows users to improve the Sygic database by adding new points of interest. What is even worse, is their database that shows tours and things to do on certain dates. Here again, many exhibitions or tours are not even listed. They should have some better way to update their database, or at least allow users to do it for them.

Idea of the app is great. But it has no business charging anything for its subscription model. The content is limited and imcomplete. Since it did help me get back to my hotel a late night driving around Mexico with no data service, ill offer an idea. Allow free access to all of the app's content requiring the user provide photos and reviews of 3-4 destinations in their home town. (1 for new places). The app would be at least 4 stars w/o that subscription demand. Got more ideas but not 4 free.

Purchased the app to compliment Sygic Navigation. It installed correctly but when attempting to open the navigation app it wouldn't open. It just gave you the option to close the app or contact customer support. Just what you need when abroad and your primary nav app no longer works. No way to back up routes or trips because of the failure to open,so all gone. Had to uninstall the app and reinstall and now have to download maps again. But all my favourites, routes and places gone.

First impressions planning a RV trip (FREE): Pros: Most destinations were listed and easily added to my trip. Itinerary relatively easy to edit. Places easy to add. Cons: No satellite, terrain, etc. views on maps. Maps not current for navigation...a major highway near me doesn't show completion...that's inexcusable. Weather forecast was COMPLETELY inaccurate... Unable to download. No easy NAVIGATE option from the itinerary...have to go deeper. This app has potential, but is really basic.

So I was massively disappointed at first with this app. I never buy apps but I was planning a trip and wanted to find options in numerous places so...my mistake was perceiving the app as a 'create a personalized trip anywhere in the world', instead of what it is-a really, really useful map that gives you information and options.

Good app for travel planning. Compare to another popular app "TripIt", this one's map is smoother and UI looks better. I like that there are plenty of tavel places and hotels that I can select and add to my itinerary. BUT!! Why can't I add fight information and customized places? EDIT: It seems like you can add customized places by long press the map. But it would still be nice to be able to add flight info and car rental info (not booked within the app) into my itinerary.

Pretty useless app unless you paid their premium. Too expensive for something you don't even know what's included and what it can do. Should have at least a few days trial and have it expired for people to try it out first to see if it's worth paying for. It's almost a rip off. Not much to choose from when I tried to add Tour and activities and only listed a few and some are not even where I'm going. Doesn't help to plan anything at all and just plain useless.

This is a helpful app to plan a trip in the US, and then use it to navigate in countries such as France and Italy. Worth the money

Chi. M. Jun 30, 2020

The planner seems to be more than fine. I gave 3 stars as I also have purchased the Sygic navigation and Travel has no integration with it. To navigate the trip I need to navigate to the next point each time. A nice addition to Travel should be exporting to the navigation whole trip with the intermediar points also. Update: this is not a bad review

Need improvement. It will be great, if it will allow user to link/copy Google map address to the App search engine. Be able to see all the plotted address in one map. Have the Sygic team to Google all top blogger recommended places into its search engines (going Khao Yai) but not a lot of recommendation. Hope to see improvement in the future updates, will still continue to use this App, overall still a great App. Cheers.

App crashed the first day I attempted to use it. Tried to download map for offline use - big mistake. App crashes everytime I try to access offline map. Am 12 days into my trip, finally got wifi to reinstall and same thing happened. Paid extra for premium, and I wasn't able to use it once. Great idea but extremely disastified.

Best travel planning app out there. Planning a trip with Sygic travel is really easy, you just pick dates and places you want to visit and the app helps with planning each day. I really recommend it to every traveler, it is definitely worth the money for the full version. Great job!

On Android 11 (Fairphone 4) the app is constantly crashing. It can't even start.

Pau. Feb 14, 2019

this is very poor unfortunately, provides no data if offline WiFi 3g OK so download via WiFi before hand right - wrong it never completes the download just sits at 60% or there abouts. Google maps info is faster. I have sygic maps too so that 1.3gb of storage just to find places and navigate if sygic data ever completed. a reboot broke it's super slow install - sygic need to look at their software much closer.

Spent $20 in IAP. Features are either broken or unimplemented. Search does not work when in day detail and you can't just manually enter an arbitrary thing. Search does not work when you go to "explore map". Search does work when you are in a trip and "add destination." I've used other Sygic products with good results, this app is a discredit to their brand. Edit: installed on tablet, search works but can't open trip, erroneously says no inet connection.

Great app for travelling. Maps include both well known and lesser known sites as well as accommodation. There is also the ability to highlight favourites, sites that you specifically want to visit. The information given is succinct but useful. A worthwhile addition to your trip.

Got the Premium to prepare for my family's next trip but I've just realised that the app does not have "Eligible for Family Library" tag. Other drawbacks are: -The offline maps did not have navigation using public transportation. -No option to add/edit public transport details, such as bus/subway routes and numbers. -No option to indicate waiting time for layover or connection flights. -No option to indicate overnight flight to the next day. Basically, it was not a worth buy.
