Simply inform your travel budget that you can spend in your travel and then register the travel expenses when they happen. We made this as easier as possible in order to let you inform the expenses in just 3 touches, so that you can register your expenses in the moment that you have them and do not need to wait until arrive to the hotel.

You can always register which currency you will use in your travel as well as your home currency, for each wallet that you create. For the expenses, incomes, and goals, you will always inform the values in your travel currency, and WallTrip will show you how much you are spending in your home currency.
Create as many trip wallets as necessary
You can create as many trip wallets as necessary. Use it as a way to also manage different currencies during your trip. For example, if you travel to Russia, Ukraine, Italy, and Brazil, you can create a trip wallet for each of these countries and each one with a different currency.

WallTrip provides customized categories in order to allow you to track the money usage according to each category.

Create trip goals to save money
One plus of WallTrip is the possibility to create goals and save money for them. How does it work? The idea is simple: you can basically create a goal (e.g., "dinner in a fancy restaurant") and inform how much money you want to save for that goal (e.g., 100 U$). The app will block this value from your available money and, as soon as you reach your goal, you need to edit your goal and mark it as achieved, which will make those 100U$ available again. After that, remember to create the real expense related to your goal (e.g., "94 U$, Dinner at restaurant XYZ") as soon as you actually have the dinner, so these 94 U$ will be debited from the available money.

I really like this app. Especially the goals, once I figured out how to use it. My only suggestion is that when setting the travel currency, there should be more than 2 spaces allowed to right of the decimal. Example $1 = 0.0015 colons. I'm not able to set to 0.0015.
This is a good, basic and functional trip wallet which is easy to use and relatively noise/ad free. It's nice that you can enter expenses in the local currency, which is the practical thing to do, and it converts to home currency. I would recommend adding the following in a reasonably priced paid upgrade - ability to save to file/print to file/email - ability to manually add categories - better search functions search by day(s), for example and the ability to tap on a category "accommodation" and see all the expenses rather than going to income/expenses and manually typing in the category
Very useful, easy to use app. Would be much improved if there was an option to back up your data. I'm a bit worried that if I lose my phone while travelling, all the information will be lost. Also, for me, the app icon is just the android logo when downloaded.
It would have been better if there was an option for expense value to deduct from income value or not. Like if user has option to choose if they want to deduct it from available income value or not.
I was so hoping that this app would work for me. Once again I was disappointed that once an entry was made I could not change it or delete it. I am pleased with this app and most impressed by the response time to my problem. I'm going to use this app for my future travel. Many thanks for your help.
I love the feature that allows you to save for goals. Saving for a large vacation feels less daunting when the costs are broken up that way.
Simple. Functional. Works offline. Would be nice if the developer includes ability to save a backup of the data.

wish to have record payments for group member and share cost function. it is good have payment method such as paid by credit card or in cash function as well

In currency Indian Rupee is missing. In the income or expense besides value the currency drop down should also appear, as during travel one may use multiple currencies.
Have used this app several times but now it will not open. Disappointing.

Super-simple and super-useful. It's awesome that it works offline! Sometimes it lags: doesn't display newly added items unless I restart the app, though it's not a big deal. I would also like to see more statistics: pie chart by categories, daily statistics by categories (multiple lines on one chart), etc.
