Triple Town

Triple Town is an original puzzle game in which you try to grow the greatest possible city. The larger the city you build, the more points you score. You build your city by matching three or more game-pieces: combine three grasses to make a bush, three bushes to make a tree... until you've filled the board with houses, cathedrals and castles. Along the way, you'll have to outwit giant bears who will try to block your progress.

How large can you grow your dream city before the board fills and the game ends?

UNLIMITED TURNS: This game is free, but we need to earn a living somehow. So eventually, after playing for a while, you will run out of turns and will need to wait for them to refresh over time, or you can buy more turns with the free coins you earn in the game. OR, if you love the game and would like to support small independent game developers like us, you can purchase unlimited turns *forever
* for a one-time fee. If you do, you can use them on *any
* compatible Android device you own (that supports Google Play.) Just install the game on your other Android devices and select "restore unlimited turns" in the game's options menu.

Please note that while Triple Town may work with devices that have been modded and are running custom ROMs, we cannot guarantee that it will work. If you have modded your devices, please be aware that you are using Triple Town at your own risk.

I've been playing this game for the past 5 years since my friend introduced it to me. I love how over time I've mastered all the little mechanics of the game to progress. The game is also a perfect "turn your brain off" for playing while listening to lecture since placing grass and bears is basically second nature at this point. Love this game!

A subscription service to unlock unlimited turns? Awful. I really dislike the subscription mode that everything is turning to; I'd rather pay once and own everything up front. I like the game itself but I refuse to subscribe, so I'll continue playing and waiting for the free turns to load. Also, I really hate how, once a ninja bear is on the board, the game is basically over. You almost immediately have to put down more and more & it becomes unplayable.

Long time player. I agree with others that the game has gotten much harder and less fun. The issue is when the ninja bears first appear, suddenly there are five or more (rather than two or three) and no way to get rid of them... Maybe unintentional, but please look into it. Update: standard. Recently at 156000 points i had 7 ninja bears on the board, and was given only one bot to fight back. Thx.

I've been playing Triple Town for years...first on my old 4th gen Ipod and then on every phone I've had since. It's one of only a few games I've always re-downloaded to each new device I've had. So cute and enjoyable in every way. It's also the perfect level of challenging enough to stay interesting, but not so much to make it stressful or frustrating. 💜💜💜

Fun and colourful, addictive gameplay that has cute, appealing graphics, charming sound effects and a simple, enthusiastic feel. Loved it as a facebook game, and I'm glad I'm able to play it again. A straight forward match three game with multiple game modes for different levels of challenge to suit your mood. My go to game when I'm on the bus or waiting for food. Did have some trouble launching, said it wasn't installed; I'm uninstalling so i can reinstall it now :3

I really enjoy this game. I've had it for years and all my phones it's a constant because it's not a really long game and you can come in and out of it as you like. At first you have a certain number of moves, however you can make a once off payment to have unlimited turns, it was less that 2euro or something, totally worth it as it goes with you on each device. I get stuck into for a few weeks and then drift away and then go back playing it. Defo recommend.

The upgrade is 1,000% optional, and I kind of miss the moves system of the free version. Made it more addictive. The free version is a great complete game that feels complete w/o upgrading. And still this is one of a tiny minority of apps I pay for. The extra features feel optional but worthwhile. Some people will feel the move limitation is exactly the kind of "you can totally play w/o upgrading jk lol" freemium deception I'm saying it's not, but I would literally turn it back on sometimes. A+

Fantastic, I've played for years across various platforms. probably looks best on a smaller screen, like a phone. it's completely possible to play for free and feel satisfied, I have unlocked all seasons and animals and have no trouble buying more turns or certain units when I need them. I do wish there was an option to unlock more maps with coins instead of buying real turns, though.

Best. Game. Ever. There's so much to like about this puzzle app. I have been playing it for years and as long as it remains playable , it will always be my go-to. However, I really wish they would update with some new maps or even offer up some new themes or designs to work for. A little bling would go a long way to keep it interesting. The events aren't really that great so I rarely play them. New goals would be enough to keep me playing for life.

I confess to playing this game for years without paying a cent for it. Mosty I didn't want to buy the unlimited turns because I knew I'd have a hard time stopping playing. Running out of turns helped enforce a stopping point. Now that I've got unlimited turns, I just keep going! The game is intriguing and involves so much more strategy than other addictive digital games. Thank you for a great game!

it's alright. i played this years ago and had unlimited turns and it was really fun. but it won't restore my purchases and if you don't buy the unlimited turns then this is basically just a free demo game. your play is extremely limited if you don't spend money. also the graphics are very dated and don't look that great anymore

Edited my review after resolving my problem with support. I love this game, I've been playing it off and on since 2012. It's a great "turn your thoughts off and relax" kind of game, and the graphics are pretty cute. If you're having an issue restoring purchases, try the restore again several times. It might just suddenly work like it did for me. Or contact support, they'll help.

I rarely rate things 5 stars because at some point (usually within a few weeks) I lose interest. I have had this game for about a year and still play it. It's so simple, but it's really challenging. Even with the free version, the two modes that it allows you to play are really fun and trying to figure out how to make different things within the game keeps me coming back. It's definitely my favorite game.

Leaving this review to counter the recent one-star... I purchased Triple Town unlimited turns in 2012, easily the best $3.99 I've spent for almost 8 years of entertainment. I can't count how many turns, boom towns, and times I've played this game. Absolutely supurb staying power and super cute bears. My only wish is that I could purchase one of those cute bears as a plush from Spryfox, because they are too cute!!!

I'm amending my review. I origionally felt that you didn't get enough turns for watching ads, but after playing for awhile I earn enough coins to buy turns and that makes the free version playable. I've never spent money on an app, but I'm considering it for this one. It's the one game I never get tired of. And, I agree with another commenter that you guys should make plushies of those super cute, super frustrating bears.

For some reason daily boom town challenges disappeared recently. Only reason I'm docking one star. Otherwise a fun game. I used Google rewards to purchase all the options long ago. Been playing for years, since installing on my first smart phone! Really hoping the daily challenges come back because I got into a bit of a routine with them.

ITS SO AWESOME!!! I've played triple town since I was a kid and its still such a solid and simple game. I especially love the wah wah wah wahwahwahwah sounds the characters make; it's adorable! Super highly recommend trying this game out, and if you have already but stopped playing for some reason, please confess your sins and pick it up again lol. ('-')-b

An engaging challenge. There are few games I bother to keep on my phone and even fewer I can have patience with as most are simply glorified e-begging with to little fun game. But spry fox is definitely worth it and this puzzle game is easily one of their best. Simple in design, endless in fun.

Eli. P. Feb 16, 2021

My favorite game. One downside rid that it is much better after paying. $13 is all you need to play for a REALLY long time. Just buy coin doubler, all pets, 50,000 coins. Use the coins to get more turns. Pros: Hours of gameplay, entertaining, addictive, easy to pick up, no lag, overall awesome. Cons: $13 paywall. (This is if your playing for long periods of time. If you play for 10m per day then stop, then just don't do this.)

Ive owned this game for over 5 years. I LOVED it. However, i stopped playing it for about a year and when i returned i found it now has a limited number of turns and i cant play the maps/game modes ive grown to love. You guys had an amazing free to play game. With very minimum purchases necessary (coins). I dont understand gow you can justify taking away freedoms your players previously had. Instead of removing freedoms why not just develop more content for your new and old players to purchase.

Very fun game and fun take on the merge genre BUT when i went to unlock the game instead of a one off purchase its a yearly subscription. Im unsure why it would be a yearly subscription unless the devs are hopinh to have people not realize it is a subscription. Im happy to pay 6.50 for the unlock but not for a subscription I'll forget to cancel when ive had my fill of the game well before the year is up. This monitization is very disapointing.

Played this game few years ago and it was fun. But now, this game isn't that fun anymore. Limited turns, too many bears, pricey items at store and the worst is that the live events didn't give me my rewards (not only once or twice, but almost every single event DIDN'T reward me, saying "PRIZE PENDING"). Such disappointment.

Simple, yet challenging. I've played this game for many years. A big perk is there are no ads (I purchased whatever package allows unlimited moves when I installed the game so I imagine the options are still the same for new users).

Tar. M. Jan 22, 2022

Love this game. Often challenging but a fun casual game. I do wish there were an update with new stuff. I've been playing for years and nothing is new. Maybe new lands. New Structures. New achievements to unlock.

Mel. M. Jan 15, 2022

Great game, love playing it bought the pack years ago. Still the best and first merge game. Love figuring out the best strategy to places objects to get the best score. Since the recent Android/phone update the game won't open completely, get the title screen to open, then it closes.

Cam. M. Sep 16, 2020

It's simple and unforgettable. This is the 3rd time I bought the unlimited moves here in this game. I remember before when I bought it the seasons and pets are included now they are not. But, till I paid for it hehe. For its good if you're Idle playing. Its addicting also. Thats all I can say. This game is for pass time. Love it. :) I shall continue playing it in the future and more.

Sadly would not recommend this title. I enjoyed it more when I was playing it on the PC on Steam, a few game modes and endless play for a one time cost. Now you are limited to turns and need to pay 5.49/year to get to play the game? Why would I pay a subscription fee for this game. Edit:Thank you for the reply, still not an appealing offer for a yearly sub.
