I am very impressed by the way this app helps me to navigate public transport. I am usually fairly ok with trains but having the timetable and stopping patterns at one's fingertips is great. I love the way the maps are integrated with bus timetables to help me get around. I was unable to properly evaluate the app using the lite version due to my vision issues and I am very grateful to the developers for offering me a risk free path to try out the full app. I highly recommend this app.

I think I purchased this almost 5 years ago. Best timetable app. You can easily see an entire timetable at a glance and make combined journeys (e.g. bus and train). So much faster than trawling the the Opal app. I also love the beautifully simple interface, it's not bloated and runs smoothly.

This app is pretty decent but is still outclassed by other bus apps. I love how easy it is to put in a route but I hate how slow the app is at updating where the bus is and when it will arrive. It may only be me but it is frustrating when the app tells you that you have 5 minutes before a bus comes and then you realise the bus passed your stop minutes before.

I've had this app for a few years now and use to love it especially because of the real time data but it started showing less and less and now shows no real time data. As a parent this was handy for getting kids to and from school if anything was late. It does give better info than opal letting me know what's been cancelled ect but it's the real time data I really wanted it for......not only in my area of hunter but newcastle too!

I have been using the app for years now have seen many changes. One thing i like to see is the time table for bus route add more earlier time slot. My bus route certainly start much earlier than 8.08 am. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. After the outage app was able to download timetable data and working as expected. For a suggestion please have popup notifications about outage so customer are aware and can look for an alternative.

An "update" late at night is not relevant to any commuter. This app, to serve its true purpose, needs to be updated in real-time.

Very good app -- if you know how to manage its idiosyncrasies (and bugs). You can't just start typing the "from" station or "to" station -- you must hit the search icon first. More than annoying, it will show you an option that purports to match your trip but the train may not stop at the destination you designated! (Pro Tip: Tap the trip and scroll the stops to make sure your station is there; it seems to get the detailed itinerary right.)

App doesn't give you info when you need it most. Frequent mismatch schedules, "Real Time data unavailable" are the issues you see everyday. Interestingly Transport NSW disowned the app and Said that I should check their website instead of relying on 3rd party app. What's going on ?? That too on a paid App.

Great public transport timetable app, been using it for years in Sydney and got the paid version to save my regular trips. I find it very easy to use and has all the info I would want, including the realtime map view if you're on a bus and need to check which stop to get off at. The only limitations are really outside of Tripview's control, like when buses don't have their GPS turned on, or the light rail which doesn't show realtime.

Think the app is great! I love the real time nature. One suggestion though that would bring it up to a 5/5. I have multiple options for my journey to/from work and always compare the end to end journeys each day to find the best one. To help this, it'd be great to be able to extend trips with a walking element. You wouldn't necessarily have to integrate with Google maps, you could just allow us to enter a number of minutes to make an allowance for walking. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for quick reply earlier. The alarm notification for a service works better since I turned a power saving option off. I need to keep battery saving on unfortunately, but a message to let people know this will delay alarms would be best (bar the alarm being fixed so this doesnt happen, of course). It is not a setting that is coose to mind when figuring out why the alarm is not performing as it was set. Cheers.

TripView is essential for using Sydney public transport. Brilliant app that I use daily. To the devs: would be handy to be able to more easily delete trips that are no longer needed. I end up with a long list of trips and to clean it up I have to open each trip to delete. Some sort of bulk select and delete option or swipe to delete option would be awesome. Keep up the good work though. :)

Worth the price of admission. A nifty little app for planning out trips in Public Transport. Very easy to use and some solid customisation options available. I would love it if we had the ability to re-order the folders however! Currently the only method to re-order is to delete folders above and make them again which is plainly bad user design. If you guys could add this feature it would make a great app even better.

Great app, no issues at all. Very useful for my daily commute. Note that it's a timetable viewer, not an end-to-end trip planner, so this might not be the app for you if you don't already know what route to take. Developer is very responsive with any queries as well. If you're seeing inaccurate data, raise it with them instead of leaving a bad review.

Great app in general. I can save as many trips as I like and these trips can be edited too! Comes in handy if you have to change services during your trip too. One suggestion I would like to make is make the cancelled services more obvious like strike throughout the line rather than just keep showing the due time which makes you rush to the station only to find out the service has been in fact cancelled and it was just not noticeable at a glance when you were hurrying to get out of the house.

Great app, I like real time updates, live timings and having trains, trams and busses all in one app. One big issue is not having a quick search feature. It's annoying that I have to add every one off trips I go to my list. Add the Quick Search feature which does not save the temporary trips. For regular trips, people can use existing "add trip" option.

I'm using the app to plan a trip from Wollongong library to anywhere... I can't choose the destination... Because all the stops appear on a large size map close together... When I try to zoom in, to choose a destination, the resize causes the app to freeze... it also crashes USB audio player Pro... Maybee they are both addressing the same memory space?

Great app, but the alarm doesn't work unless the app is open. If you open another app or go to your home screen the alarm doesn't go off. If you open the app after the alarm, it will activate then, but this is after you set it. Checked my notification settings and it is set correctly. Can you please investigate and fix. *Thanks, that seems to fix it. Would be good to have the option to overrule the battery setting for this alarm.

App not displaying accurate live updates properly. Tripview says the train is running late when in fact the train is running perfectly on time. It was the south Coast train between bomaderry and Kiama

Useful app for commuting in Sydney. This morning when I opened the app, one of my main trips had reversed itself (the destination became start). Tried editing it but the app won't let me select my desired stops. I'll have to delete and recreate it. What a ridiculous problem. Edit: thanks for that, guess the pebkac.

Started using for bus data when arrivo stopped working. At first seemed an adequate replacement, but the more I use it the more it's limitations bother me. It does do what it does well - if all you want is data about vehicles on a small number of trips you will be satisfied. But anytime you find yourself in a place you don't visit often enough for you to have already set up a trip, and wanting data about services from a number of nearby bus stops you'll wish you were using something else.

Cal. A. May 21, 2019

the best app for Sydney travel. main gripe: when planning a bus trip you have to select your starting bus stop. but for Sydney city this is no good as there are dozens and you probably don't know the best one for your destination. if you guess the wrong one, you won't see the routes you need. so, i suggest for suburb search you let people select destination stop and work backwards to city starting point.

This app works well, and the real time bus info is great. It seems to me to be one of the better public transport apps. I'd love to be able to pick a bus-stop, though, and see which services are arriving there shortly. Updated 24/03 Hi, Tripview Developer: aha! I see how it works! Thanks for the advice!
