TripView Lite

Just downloaded the app after having used it years ago with no issues. App immediately closes when trying to open it, unable to use it at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and is now working with no issues.

Cannot save trip even when the app is open. Ad is fine but video plays with sound enabled as default which is so annoying.

The developer has responded to my vision issue by offering to let me try the full version with an exit clause. I am most impressed by their kindness.

Every time i try to open the app it closes straight away and keeps closing, the app worked perfectly before but this update has made it not work at all

Paid for the subscription version but trips did not save. Also timetable data not real time for Sydney lightrail.

I was happy to see some ads as the price of a free app. But the app has started showing full screen ads, some with sound. That is a total deal breaker. The Opal Travel app has the same functionality. I'm switching to that.

Inaccurate, was waiting for 45 minutes for the train. 2nd time.

The Lite version is awful, flooded with ads and doesn't store your routes so you have to enter the whole rigmarole of your stops every single time. A great way to get you to pay for the full version (which itself is very useful, especially for buses).

Worst update ever, this app used to be a very helpful and solid app but the newest updates screwed everything up, now it keeps crashing every second use, especially when you are in a hurry and need to check your trains, no cant do as it will go on crashing until you restart the app and it will run properly for once and go back to crashing. Do not recommend it anymore. Edit: thought i'm the only one with the blank screen issue but seems like it is a common fault by looking through other comments

it's a good app . another good option would be to save your trips, maybe within 24hours only and if you can show us if it is a air con bus or the old buses or the buses is suitable for prams/wheelchairs it is really frustrating when you've been waiting so long n to only find out when the bus arrives, that we can't jump on the bus due to not being suitable for prams. I'd be late to appointments/school pick up/drop off.

I can't check bus routes now on my Android, Everytime I click and choose the bus the app crashes. Please fix it asap. Update: thanks for the super fast response, I cleared the data in both apps (tripview Lite and google maps) and it seems working for now. thank you.

It's very handy and good to have it on your phones. One more thing to make more convenience of your NSW free users give this ability to phone users to keep the searched page till they trip is not over when you don't close the app and using the other apps. When you go back to app the loaded page would be gone back to home page. Otherwise I would've leave 5 Stars feedback for this app

Where I came from, public transport apps are free even for full features. It's shocking that the devs wants to charge money for a PUBLIC and BASIC service. The app was ok only if used with conjunction with Google maps, otherwise it's useless. Another downside is that you can't check what buses are arriving at a specific stop. Since the app forces you to choose a final destination, the result can be a bus that only operates only on certain days, so good luck waiting 2 days for that bus.

This app is great for anyone commuting in Sydney! It provides very helpful information. However, the user interface has not changed for a long time and looks outdated - this should be updated and looked into.

With Trip View Lite is the basic transport app for Sydney & Melbourne transport systems. With the upgrade to Pro, it allows you to save your moste used trips & also runs in background when the phone screen locks or using multiple applications when switching. Great App

Doesn't update the times for trains and buses and doesn't have the correct info at all in some cases. e.g. the app once told me to catch a bus replacing trains between Chatswood and Epping, turns out the trains were running between chatswood and epping the whole time but the app had no idea. The station officer I spoke to about the issue literally advised me not to rely on the app

Very easy to use app. i fond it not necessary to hut the full version. the lite version works just as good. When i firsted starting using it.it was very accurate, but lately it not as accurate. but still a hgihly recommended app for people who dont wanna miss thirr bus!

i just upgraded my tripview paying little one time amount and it did saved my trips but once i go back and went inside tripview app in my phone i still have old version dat doesnt save your trips but when i go same app from playstore its new version ..Its just weird so i did refund thanks for refund option though .Other than not being able to save everyday trips i am actually quite satisfied with the normal version.👍👍👍

Works well enough, but no saving of trips and/or routes is way too irritating. Even the lite version should allow saving of trips if the user will be using the same one over and over. Uninstalled

Why is this app not opening it just not working 😪 very annoying

Awfully incorrect timeschedule! The "live" times for the light rail listed in this app have NOTHING to do with the actual time schedule. I constantly miss my light rails even I arrive 4-5 min early. Don't trust this app. I recommend using Google Directions, they are accurate. Would give 0 stars for this app!!

Used to be fine on my Google pixel 4a 5g, but now it just keeps crashing everytime I open the app. I've tried reinstalling and updated my phone. Nothing works. Edit: performed the update recommended by tripview, I still have issues with the app crashing everytime I open it.

Very useful. Only problem is the trip entered disappears when you go to another app so when you come back it has to be entirely re-entered again. Annoying. PS I now see you have to pay for this feature. Very cunning.

Absolutely the worst app! Paying yet another $6 every time I get another phone is too much and the free one stores no previous transort routes already searched for! And even the bought one is wrong with bus arrivals & departures from stops! Typical government hopelessness (maybe it's this mob responsible for the shocking Covid 'management'?!

Used to have Victorian country train and bus timetables. But after re-installing the app it doesn't. A lot of other apps are harder to navigate. Even PTV can't make it easier. Makers of this app have STUFFED UP!!!

I've never written an app review before.. but I am utterly disappointed at the increase in price for your paid version of the app. I viewed it a few months ago, it was $4, now it's increased to $6 ??? I'm sorry but a simple train timetable app should not cost $6. Please reconsider your pricing because it's quite absurd. Maybe add in an option for donation instead.

Doesn't give you every way you can travel. You have to check yourself where you can change trains sometimes. Otherwise very useful.

I'm pretty sure I upgraded to the full version, but upon changing phones, it asks me to pay again. So now I'm stuck with the lite version. But happy with that.
