Trivialist — Offline Trivia Quiz Game
In this new type of general knowledge trivia game, rather than choosing one correct answer from four options (boring!), you instead manage a list of items based on a question we ask. All you need to do is SORT, SELECT or MATCH each list:
SORT items by year, weight, length, value, distance, mass, speed and many other ways. For example, ‘Sort these cities by population’, ‘Sort these football teams by their net worth’, or ‘Sort these kids’ TV shows by when they were first broadcast’
MATCH items together – for example, ‘Match the singer to their album’, ‘Match the country to the flag color’, ‘Match the quote to the movie’, or ‘Match the animal to their favorite food’.
SELECT 5 items from a list of 10 things – for example, ‘Select the 5 actors who appeared in the Harry Potter movies’, ‘Select the 5 objects that are smaller than the Moon’, ‘Select the 5 events that occurred before the US Civil War’ or ‘Select the 5 celebrities who married more than 5 times’

Only been playing this game for a few days. It is addictive and fun. The only issue is the frequency of the ads. Every other question i am bombarded with an ad. I realise this is a necessity in a *free* game but PLEASE... give us time to actually enjoy the game instead of having to fight to close advert after advert. X
The lists are great, but there is no leaway with choice of subjects unless you buy an alternative pack. You can be stuck with a subject area of which you have no knowledge or interest, cannot research the answers as you get timed out, and you are then returned to play the same subject. Had to uninstall.
Could be fun but it's too full of subjective questions. Such as: match the colours to the animal. The colours were all ones that each animal could be. One animal was bear and some answers were brown, black, white. Bears are commonly all of those. Same with foxes, and wolves and so on. I didnt give it a 1 because it is a uniquely challenging game that I feel would be great for trivia addicts. BEWARE must have high knowledge of pop culture and entertainment. I have none, so I failed. 😭
Its not an app you can use off line. You need internet for the initial set up, only then can you use it off line. Other than that i enjoy it. Some list are more challenging than others ( for me personaly.) However it isnt too hard get hints. This is a fun app that is just challenging enough to keep coming back. I give it an A/A-
The format and the set-up is weird, this game has potential to be a great game. Users should be able to control whether or not they want the sound of the game. It is disrespectful to max out the volume (after I turned it off or at alow level) and would be annoying to anyone else in the same room. I use Bluetooth earpiece and I am afraid that this could lead to hearing loss. I have removed the app from my phone. If there is a way that you could assist in muting the sound I would try it again.
Decent enough game but there are things that NEED to be improved to bring it up to 5 stars. You do not get notifications when anyone has challenged you within the app. You do not get notifications outside the app, which means you have to keep going back into the app to check to see if any challenges are there. Maybe an option for the challanges to be best of 5 rather than 3 as the games are over too quickly.
I have just downloaded this app today, the concept is a really good one but is not executed as well as it could be. -problems; when you play multiplayer and wait for a response from the other player you don't get a notification to tell you. -It takes up to 20 minutes to let you play another round on multiplayer, it is one of the slowest apps I have ever had -Games are too short there are only 3 rounds per game and you can't change it to more -some of the questions are obscure, and americanised
They should turn this into a TV show. It's awesome! Quite tricky and nerve wracking sometimes when you're low on lives, but getting the solution feels great and there's so many questions to choose from. I wish the two player mode was better, but it's still OK. My go to trivia game right now.
Never played the game. You're seemingly agreeing to one "Terms of Policy" document but I encourage you to actually read through. There are two party's agreenents wrapped up into that and one explains they will share your information with third party companies listed there unless you unmark all of them. There is a very long list--I never even made it to the bottom before I decided this was way too many agreements for a simple game to pass time. Note that with one button you can unselect all.
Love the idea, but SO clunky and slow. If you're looking for a quick lightweight trivia game this is not for you. There are slow and time-wasting animations in showing the questions, presenting all the possible answers one by one, then checking all your answers one by one at the end.
Got a little of everything. I'm no good at modern music, but there's plenty of older stuff in here. It's a bit like trivial pursuit, in that a lot of the time you can work out the solution if you just think through logically and you get a few gusses before it stops you. I like it!
Have been playing for a few months now and like the lady who left a review on 2nd Dec I am having the same problem after getting the latest update. Tried to open and it just crashes every time. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but no use. Can no longer use at all. Loved the game until this point.
I've never seem a trivia game like it. So bored of the usual multiple choice quizzes, so this is a welcome change. It took me weeks to complete the basic version and I'm just starting on the expansion pack now. Very well done.
I like the game very much. But hard as hell to tap into a new level. I have to tap like 20 times. I don't have an issue with my phone screen. Samsung s8. so this might be a bug
I really enjoy this game, except for the lack of review for incorrect answers. For instance, one of the questions relates to countries invaded by England, and lists Hungary, which was invaded by England in WWI. But the game says that answer is incorrect.
It's a nice game but omg it's so tedious waiting for the menu or game to start. Having to tap then tap again to start a level does my brain in. Give us an option to remove all the double taps and speed up animations.
The questions can get a bit niche and if you're younger than 20, you'll struggle to know all the trivia (TV from the 70's!), but I appreciate the international flavor here (it's not all USA stuff) and it's good to see so much questions on literature, history, science. Might just be the perfect 5 min app for my commute .
the game never worked right, everytime i try to play it wouldnt work, when it tells you to move the green tiles on the black i pick up a green to move it but it just goes to the right side of the screen and ignors my movement
The game is a fun and simple trivia game. My problem is that the app is supposed to be usable offline after first playing with an Internet connection. I played first with Internet and then the next day, tried without and it said I needed to play with a connection 1st which I already did. Therefore uninstalled.
Mostly enjoying the game but sometimes its too USA oriented and it makes answering more difficult for non-Americans. Also can be a bit too celebrity biased, but still a good range of questions.
wouldn't even let me hit single player, all it did was play the music and pop up the menu and if I tried to play it, it would say not responsive. Too bad though, actually thought this looked like a good game.
It's OK. The surprising thing about it is how much I manage to get right even though I sometimes know very little. It's gives you a few guesse and you can bring up hints to let you use logic to solve the game. Interesting game .
This game has managed to catch my attention, something really difficult though. Is has some level of complexity, but not too much, so is not way too demanding. Is has a large variety of topics. I really enjoyed it!
horrible. the questions are horribly vague, like it wanted me to say what color bears were; depends on the kind of bear. it wanted me to arrange movies by release date, but didn't specify original or remake, so I put them in the wrong place. do yourself a favor, dont download it
this game is destroyed by ads, loads ads that open multiple internet windows or make you close the program to exit the ad. also lags and crashes for no reason at random moments.
The questions are a little hard. It would be better if we could choose the level and get stars accordingly. Also, if we could earn credits by playing the game. Apart from this, the game is great.
it's a good game, but very slow in checking answers or letting you select stuff. sometimes I need to tab on the same checkbox three or four times to enter the level. extra tab (or more) to enter rhe category because it changes from icon to text the first time you click on it, which is unnecessary imo. every time you complete a category you have to click a checkmark in the upper corner, which I don't think is very user friendly and the game won't continue until you click it.
