Tropical Fish Guide Pocket Ed.

Easily the best freshwater aquarium reference in its class. Great care sheet advice covering everything from individual tank setup needs, to feeding, filtration, lighting, compatibility, etc. Makes purchasing decisions much much easier. The developers are very active and put out frequent content updates for it. It has bespoke profiles for both freshwater tropical fish as well as aquarium plants.

I had two fish that I became convinced were incorrectly identified as juveniles of one breed because they never grew, but couldn't figure out what they actually were. Within 30 seconds of purchasing this app, I had my answer. (And was right!) Completely worth it.

Suggested some things be changed and really I never expected them to be changed because what creators actually do??? With in a few days it was changed and or fixed. Creator(s) are very responsive and do great job. Definitely worth the money! Thank you!

Excellent app great for the enthusiast or any body just starting on fish keeping. I am a long time fish enthusiast and after a long time absent from the hobby this app is brilliant. If you are a newbe to the hobby get this app. I personally recommend it.

Fantastic app. I've tried lots of other aquarium apps, but this one includes all the information I need in a quick and clear pocket format. I can request any fish or plants that I need that arent already in there which is a great feature. The developers were very nice and went out of their way to help me with some advice on getting my tank cycled too.

This has hundreds of fish (~500?) and the developer has continually maintained and expanded it over the years. The selection of fish is good and you can request anything that's not included via a built in requests system. The A-Z is divided in to three tabs, which I initially missed, but once you realise it makes browsing for the fish much quicker.

Easily the best in its class 👍 I have everything loaded in 'my collection' ready and i use the favourites list for potential buys. I'm realistic in that no pocket app will have all possible species, there are just way too many, but this has decent coverage of the ones most often found in pet shops plus they add anything else you need straight through the request feature in the app. The system works very well.... no need for any 'it doesn't have x or y' worries 😊

Solid app - good information, nice pictures, zero ads. The user interface is nice and straightforward and I can split my collection and to buy lists using the favs/my collection which is useful. The developers went out of their way to help me too which I really appreciate as well, thnx. It gets the Keeton seal of approval!

A great reference for all freshwater fish keepers. It contains explainations on all things such as preferred water parameters, fish temperament, tank set up and even ideal filter turn-over rates and fish bio load levels. The developer will add on request any fish not in the extensive list already existing in the app currently as well so all round 5 stars and an excellent purchase.

Fantastic app I've had for years and it only gets better with on going updates. It has awesome search option criteria to find suitable fish for things like tank size, social ability, fish length, fish's native habitat, plant friendly or not, desired pH and temperature. Extremely helpful ap!

This has been very helpful for getting my aquarium started and ensuring that I'm picking fish that are suitable and compatible. The overall coverage is excellent for a pocket app and lays out the info in a clean and concise way.

App is great & very helpful. The only problem I'm having is accessing my favorites & my collection past the letters A-F. Kind of frustrating, because I couldn't remember the name of one of the fish I purchased. And I couldn't get to him in my favorites :(. Otherwise love the app

I'm new in my aquatics department for petco, and I know very little. This app is a LIFE SAVER! I wish it had a little more information on possible illnesses for some fishies. That's about it. Great app!

Good app with lots of information on lots of fish, i wish you could which measurement system you wanted to use, and i wish it had a "build an aquarium feature" where you could pick fish and it would tell you if they're compatible.

I work in an aquarium store, and this is a fantastic resource! I can attest that the information is accurate, and there's a wide range of common freshwater species. Can't wait to see a marine version!

Great app, but I don't see the difference between my favorites and my collections. Would be great if I could name a collection and have multiple collections.

Just got made the aquatics specialist at Petco and this is my go to app to help when I don't know something. Only thing I would add is the option to default to Gallons instead of liters since we use Gallons here. Other than that, I love it.

Awesome app! Has most of the fish I have searched for. The odd one here and there I have to google, but that's understandable and I'm ok with that. New updates, active forum, great community!

I downloaded thinking it would be a decent resource. I looked up a few pretty common fish and some weren't listed. Plant database was also tiny. Not sure who this is aimed at.

Okay,... But the database is seriously lacking! I have at least a dozen fish in my tank that aren't listed there?... Please update your database!

Has potential but a lot of fish types/breeds missing, ex. different guppys varieties or tetras or danios.

Please allow us to change the settings from metric to the U.S. measurement system. It's available only in a limited capacity. We should be able to change the setting to suit our needs.

Recommended for all Fish Keepers Out There, There are still some missing fishes out here but overall its the best app for fish enthusiast like me
