HOW TO DISCOVER AND SHOP FOR COOL TREASURES
1. Browse the marketplace or classifieds for items, special sales or interior design ideas. Trove uses's your location*
* to show nearby items.2. You can see seller profile and ratings. Sellers can be individuals, local vintage shops, or second hand stores. 3. If you like an item, favorite it for design ideas or make an offer up to how much you are willing to pay.
- You can use either a credit card or cash.4. Pin down an appointment time that works for you to view the item.5. If the seller accepts the offering, you can see it before you release the funds. 6. If you have any questions on the item, chat privately with the seller right in the app without revealing your email or phone number.
**Trove will NEVER REVEAL your location to Sellers. Location is used simply to find cool treasures near you.**
HOW TO SELL LOCAL AND MAKE MONEY
When you are ready to let go your used furniture or other stuff, it is easy to get stuff sold.
1. Take a picture and list your second hand item right from this mobile sales app (like a classifieds or a flea market, although much easier than Craigslist). 2. Pick days and times of availability so buyers know when the item is available. 3. Buyers will make offers on second hand items your selling, securely backed by a credit card (or cash on pick up if you are willing to consider them). 4. Accept or decline offers until you see the maximum the buyers are willing to offer up to. 5. Buyer comes to pickup the furniture or the home decor items you are trying to sell. 6. You get paid securely right in the app through Direct Deposit or Venmo for credit card offers. (You can also accept cash offer up to your preferences). Happy Troving! Btw. Horrible app. Cant create an account.
Great second-hand goods market platform with many items and easy user interface. Quiz for fun feedback, Chat for instant communication, Like for preference community... these are not just for selling/buying, this app can be a good social platform with practical benefits! Things like "Deals of the day" would be even better ;)
Horrible app ... Every time I try to go see the messages I get, it'll freeze and say trove is not responding and shut down. DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DOWNLOAD AND WASTE YOUR TIME.
No mention of fees Trove charges for selling anywhere I see. Furthermore you can only sign up via Facebook or by giving them offline access to your Google account. Who uses FB anymore? And why do you need any access to my Google account is my thought. Anyway, if Trove can't be upfront about fees, they need to hide it as they're doing. Why would I trust Trove? So I'm out till they can be clear and upfront about things. And I can sign up simply. Without giving access to my personal accounts.
Same old same old i live in la but according to trove boston is close to me.
If you are looking to sell, Trove does not live up too it's advertised service. It will not let you offer credit card payment as an option even if you meet the requirements. Also, it has been 2 days and still no response to my help ticket. Too bad, it looked like a good idea, but it's a no go.
Some cute stuff, WAY too expensive! If I wanted to pay retail, I would go to Home Goods

Doesn't understand the word "Tablet" when searching or price searches either.
I REALLY LIKE THIS APP FOR SURE
$200 for a pillow? $3,000 for a bookcase? If I'm going to spend that kind of money, it'll be from somewhere that I can personally see the product before I buy. Lower your prices and I'd consider looking again.

Scrolling through Trove Market is like wandering through the world's best flea market stocked specifically with stuff for your home. You find the best, most unique items plus a better rekationship with the seller than you ever will on Craigslist or eBay. Bravo!
Uninstalling. I do not like the fact that it needs access to the people in my Google Circles or my Facebook friends. I should be able to create an account independent of those two entities.
I would give this app 5 stars if I was able to edit my item(s) and remove items from the app. I sell on many platforms and yours is way at the bottom because of this. :/

App will not let you sign in with Google account. Tried re-installing twice. No response from support.
