Bait and switch You can backup all of the backup categories with no problem. However if you have to restore, then all but one backup category is going to require that you upgrade to Premium. I was very upset to find out that I had to pay to recover my SMS messages. If they are going to do that they should make it clear up front.

This is ridiculous. When you open the the app, there's the screen with a list of free and paid features. The only free feature is s_m_s messages backup. Every other service is only available with the upgrade. On top of that, I wasn't even able to leave the features page. I couldn't even exit the app without using the home screen button, literally your only option from this app is to upgrade to the paid app.

I've been using this app for years and now when i try to set it up on my new phone it loads up only to show me the option to buy the premium version. I can't even use the free features. Although I've used most the the premium features for years now without having to pay for the app a second time. Absolutely terrible when a quality app goes to garbage.

Galaxy S4 (I337) Att USA Simple free backup. .I use Google drive with free 15gb of storage. I've paid for another app (my backup pro) and paid for storage $40/year until the 4.4.2 update then it didn't work anymore and was told pretty much too bad unless I root which is not even available. Get this app instead. . Numbers don't lie.

I used to use this free app and it was fine because it did exactly what I wanted... Now I cannot even access my backup because something about upgrading to premium pops up... Even as I'm writing this review the upgrade screen is interrupting my typing... Horrible horrible update... Wouldn't bother to download

Tnx to 3FARMES LABS. This is wat I was looking from long time. Truebkup is simple and easy & can bakup all ur app,contacts and all important stuff of ur phone...afcose this is a five star APP..... Plz add edit option also in scheduled backup so any one can edit the pervious scheduled bakup if he install or change any APP or any other stuff,...LOVE this app :) Test this app with everything on my phone so many times..... Trubackup performance was too good in bakup & restore.

I used to love this app, now I'm uninstalling it. Firstly, it takes FOREVER to back up the content of your phone, esp if you have videos. And secondly, now it won't even back up anything bc I keep getting a Backup Failed message every time I run the backup! What's the point of having a so-called backup app when it just simply won't work! Like I said, I'm uninstalling. Very disappointed.

So disappointed after using this app. After taking HOURS to backup my contacts, pictures, music and videos from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my Google drive (and showing that everything had been uploaded via the status setting), I tried to restore on my new device and the only thing that saved to my Google drive were my videos and my music. And before you ask...no, I didn't run out of room on my drive (still have 7 GB's available in drive). I had to go back and manually back up my pics into drive. Terrible!

Trying out for first time since I need to do a hard reset. Seems a bit slow in back up process. Especially for photos (after 10 minutes, only 40 of 154 photos copied - that is very slow. A backup shouldn't take 30 minutes or longer with 29 contacts, 127 sms/mms, and 154 photos). Can't say about other media as I've not selected it. Also, I can't tell if the app upgraded to the "premium" version or not as I don't see anything to indicate it has. And, yes, my phone is connected to the internet. I'll adjust the STARS up or down according to results of restore. I don't have time to wait the estimated 30 more minutes to do a backup. I have to try a different app. This app is a FAIL for lack of speed. Can't imagine how long it would take if I had 50 contacts, a thousand sms/mms, and hundreds of photos. Not to mention music if I was also backing that up.

The free version used to work and I like the app but now it will not let you restore or backup without paying for the upgrade so what's the point of the free version and why would I pay for the premium version if there are bugs in the free one. App developer don't know what he/she is doing obviously because this issue has been an issue for 4 months now. FIX IT OR U LOSE it. Don't believe the people, try them. I'll contact Google Play services and report this app.

All the ppl who r saying bad abt this apps are dumb or don't deserve to use android. This app is absolutely fabulous .backed up all my data n restores well ....ty

Easy UI without a lot of complicated settings. I backed up my music & pics easily to Google drive (included with your Google account), which gives you 15 GB of storage for free. Most backup apps charge you for storage. Yes, the music files especially took a little longer to backup, but I had it done overnight when my phone is plugged in & on WiFi. I'm sleeping anyway, so who cares then? Very happy with this!

It looks nice, has a simple interface, and is easy to use. The main problem is I cannot get this to app to compete a backup procedure on my HTC One. It's constantly freezing at random points, not budging after it fixates on a random percentage. Not sure what the problem is, but since it does NOT work for me, I can't give a good rating. ---- Edit , judging from other reviews, i've come to the conclusion the transfer process for anything other than contacts/messages, is painfully long.

The only stuff that this app let me backup is my music haft of it stop to 80 percent and that's it the rest of my content nada if I would give this app a zero I would! And Don't waste ur money on the paid one its having issues also

I think this app is basic BS. I even paid for the license and have not been able to have access to my data for months. It's useless as far as I'm concerned, and be wary as they do not update or develop anything and you will never see your data again.

The UI is clean, clear and provides details and backup options that others don't. I backed up and restored photos, videos and music to my Google drive account without a hitch. I also tested restore and it worked as designed.

I was using this app to backup my SMS, Contacts, Pictures, etc, then I had to factory reset my phone for an upgrade, after phone did the reset I installed Trubackup again only to find that I could no longer restore all my information again. What good is this app if it is not going to do what it's supposed to do. Is this backup app only good for the current state that your phone is in?

Completely useless to me or anyone for that matter. And they want you to pay for this service, and why, when it doesn't work correctly. All it does is have a pop up for paying for premium use. I was very disappointed to see when I open the app there is paid features and a free feature, but the only thing that actually worked was NOTHING of the Free items, which claims to back up "CONTACTS for Free." I don't ever mind buying an application if it's a Good Application. I have UNINSTALLED this application for now, unless the developer wants to let me test the PRO Paid Version of this application to see if it can actually do what it claims to do. So far it doesn't even backup the One "free item" which is contact's According to the developer's provided information. I'm waiting for a reply from the Developer. I would love to see what this application Truly can offer the user. So far I will stick with "CM Backup" as it's 100% FREE as it's Ad Supported and does everything this application claims to do. And CM Backup Does Actually Backup Your Device Correctly And It Is Extremely Fast At Backing Up Too.

Had download some time ago and backed up then device before buying new phone believing my photos (of my children) could be saved then restored. Have since tried several times to get back old photos, but failed everytime!!

As soon as I opened it I was promoted to upgrade. 90% of features only available on premium. Pointless install.

I have used this app previously and worked perfect. This time, I did my back up and now when I go to restore, I get the"premium" update and although I have uninstalled and reinstalled...I still get the same error. Totally upset.

It would have got 5 star's but all I get is server is busy. So I might have to delete it.

Best backup app by far it took a few days but it transferred (backed up) all of the 2000 songs to my Google Drive account. Even when it disconnected or I had to restart my phone it picked up right where it left off. Thanks

Does not let you backup anything. Soon as you launch it forces you to upgrade to premium edition, cannot access anything and you cannot back button out you have to force close with home button and task manager. Uninstalling right now - don't waste your time with this app.

I feel confident . dismounted 64 gb micro stuffed usbb in adaptor win 7 got it. checked it out sent to a apple. they worked 540 with somefaces

Cant give it 5 star caus I have not tried the restore part. But its a wonderful all in one backup app. Good job guys.
