Better truck routing GUI please! Alternate routes don't pop up when you approach them, the theme doesn't, properly, automatically, change from light to dark, and it doesn't pop up a warning when approaching a weigh station. Also, it would be great to have the option of downloading offline maps. I have the paid version, so I would like to have this fixed soon! Other than that, this is a great app for truckers!
I use this app a lot, both for navigation and route planning. Very useful tool. I only wish I could set up at what distance the weight station voice announcement would sound (30 miles is a tad too far, I would prefer 5), and regulate the navigation map distance (too close for me, sometimes I feel that I see turns mere seconds before getting there). Other than that, very nice.
This app has become absolutely ridiculous. You have to pay for every single little feature now. As well as being inundated with ad spam non-stop. I just tried to open the app to look ahead and see what truck stops are along a certain route that I was deciding to take. I had to close out eight different pop-ups before I could see the map. This app has gotten ridiculous ever since it has been taken over. I cannot wait to see somebody make an alternative and shut you down!
Potential to be awesome. I really like this app and it's my preferred navigation app. I pay $ every month for the trucker options. But I'm noticing some hiccups. Sometimes the speedometer in the app starts jumping around, it showed me I was going 100mph when I was going 75, just a distraction that's all. Then often when you press to load a route, when you're driving, it takes forever to load. With 5g service, I know it's not my phone. Adding stops is just broken. Fix it.
Been with this app since the beginning, lots of updates and improvements. Latest update with the map going into the small screen like Google maps is a no go for me. I use this app with my log app, I use to double tap on my android device to switch between the 2 while I drive occasionally to check my hos but now with this mini map it takes it out of my recent tab. Now I gotta try to hit the tiny expand button which is difficult wen your trying not to take your eyes off the road
I want to love it but I can't. It's glitchy in some really annoying ways. Finished with your route? Clicked on new trip and planned your itinerary carefully? Well click on navigate so your changes are discarded and your old route is restarted! Love unresponsive buttons like the compass button? This is the app for you! Like being told to wait to download latest map data and have nothing happen? Well guess what?!..... other stuff too like annoying pop ups when your dealing with these glitches
I think it's better than the garmens, simple to use. please bring back the picture in picture mode. Ever since last update for trucker path, my Android at least, the app doesn't do picture-in-picture mode when I hit the home button
I've been using Trucker path for several years. I'm not sure what you guys are doing when pushing out updates, but I didn't have the app locking up in the middle of using it before. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Hope it works CORRECTLY now, or I will start shopping for a replacement. Other than that, I am pleased with the TP app.
Pop up ads aren't enough it seems. While you're looking for your next stop on the map the app will bring you to the play store for some other app or game they're advertising. Happens to the point the app causes you to lose time. Going to just switch to Google maps from now on because trucker path has become too unreliable.
this app has become awefull takes too long to load many error screens on availability and details. Update... This app has gone from aweful to highly frustrating... No longer useful for just getting a quick list of truck stops along a route. Have to constantly fight off the pop-ups for premium services and trials...stop it...I just need some fast information... If you are on a slow data connection...this app will not even work tho other apps will... I will be unistalling and using another.
It costs way too much for the service it provides, and for the problems it has. I'm currently looking for a better product. Save yourself the frustration and do the same. Hammer looks to do the same as this app, and it looks free. I'll be back to this particular review to let everyone know how my test of the Hammer app goes.
Wow I pay $15 a month and it is still asking me for more money if I want to add more than 2 stops on my way!!! This is unacceptable.This app is way too expensive.Plus on the turns the arrow says right and the voice says turn left! It happens all the time. I'm gonna stick with Hammer app. No thanks.
AVOID THIS APP AND ANY FREE TRIAL! I was charged $149 without any notification three days before trial ended. Their response was that it's not their responsibility to refund since it was downloaded via Google Play. Google said it was the developer's responsibility to refund and they denied the refund. So now I'm dealing with the developers once again. It should not be this difficult to get a proper refund. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED Had to get my bank involved as a last resort.
I use and payed for a month, first it took me on a very bad curvy small town road, not for trucks, second the U turns all the time, get a real gps , I invest on a rand McNally, because this app has a lot of mistakes, I can use my paper map and do a custom rout on Gmaps and it will be better, no weather alerts , wrong exits , u turns. I stopped the membership after a month.
The amount of ads is insane, and impairing when trying to find a truck stop as fast as possible. Used to pay for the app, would have considered it again but now I refuse on principle. You exit an ad, it pops another one in less than 5 seconds. Frustrating and makes me hate the company. Will be looking for a new app.
Since today I can no longer see TA and Petro even though I have them selected. If I force stop the app and clear all the storage I can see them sometimes until the next time I open the app and it Auto centers on this DHL supply chain Warehouse in Aurora Illinois and then I can no longer see any TA or Petro again. EDIT: They fixed the issue yay! Business as usual again, great app.
While checking a status, something popped up quickly & subscribed me to diamond status. I tried to unsubscribe, but it just takes me to the app page in the Google Play Store. It does not even show up in my account for my subscriptions starting how much I will be charged when the free trial is over. Please cancel this subscription.
Update: The app is fully working again. I do appreciate the glitch was promptly fixed. It always seems their occasional glitches are promptly fixed, and it is good to know I can generally rely on this app. As an OTR owner operator truck driver, I use and rely faithfully on this app every day.
This was a good trip planning tool, then they removed all the TAs and Petros from the possibilities. I'm no fan of those truck stops, but I frequent them regularly. I'm sure this was motivated by money or greed, probably on both sides; but that removes a great deal of information we users need. My middle finger goes up often enough to salute TA. Truckers Path gets both of them, now.
It's only been wrong about scales being closed about 4 times. I should of added that I figured that was some driver not being honest in his report of open or closed . I normally go around scales but since finding this app I've saved a ton of miles. I use the free part which to me has saved many miles. So thank the developers for the help
Very bad, inaccurate, it took me crazy turns and places, not reliable for scales, there is no heads up for rest area and gas stations, very often it is not working and cause is apparently there is no internet connection and truly internet is working fine, then suddenly it changes your route and gives me 120 miles extra for no reason it just took me of I5 (luckily I knew where to go). It's just not worth money they are asking, 2 or 3 dollars maybe but 50 noooo
This is one of the worst app I've ever used in my entire life yes it shows where all the truck stops are all the scales and everything that's the only perk on a brand new phone it's like you pay for the service it's like no matter what the app is cracked his legs out won't keep your trip data at the ra put it in all the time or want to do the Tudor this app is junk and to take $8 a month is even more junk make it more user-friendly and more to the point where does install out all the time
If I sign up for premium can I customize the page layout? You have added so many menus that the screen is too cluttered to be of any use. The "search for address" pops up every time the screen is touched and it takes up half the screen. I never use the option and it gets in the way. Now you have added "plan trip" function smack dab in the middle of the screen. What idiot thought that was a good idea? Give me the option to get rid of all the useless screen clutter and I will buy the premium!
