DESCRIPTION & OPERATIONEnter your axle weights (platform scale or individual axles) and the app calculates how much each axle is over or under, including gross. Then click "Get Suggestion" and it tells you where to slide. It's that easy.
HOW DOES IT WORK?Trucker's Slide Calc uses a computer algorithm to simulate your axle weights at each hole. It then picks the best hole for the situation.
Having Drives and Trailers balanced saves you fuel and money, so the app tries to do this first: putting slightly more weight on your drives for traction and fuel burn.
If equally balancing the axles makes an axle go over limit, the app will elect to keep the axles legal but out of perfect balance..
Last, if every axle can't be legal at the same time, the app automatically suggests a hole where your trailers will be just under their limit, and puts the rest of the weight on your drives. That way you can remove the extra fuel and get legal before a DOT Scale.

Hello, I have a Android G7 phone and I download that app for my work. I love that app to do a quick calculation of the wait of my tractor and trailer load at the weight scale. But if I don't take a picture of the screen and I go back in to the app to double check the numbers. The numbers change by there self and go all funky and change from kg to lbs by himself. I don't no about the paid it version, but the free version need some improvement.
App failing to launch and scale weights are off. I have to uninstall/ this app 4-5 times and it is not working. It keeps giving me an error message about some ad that is not able to load. Also, the calculated weight vs the actual scale weight is off by at least 200 lbs. So I use the suggested pin setting to get me in the general vicinity of where I need to be. Please fix these problems. I'm sure that I'm not the only driver who has seen this issue.
I loaded it to see if it would be beneficial for a new driver.. I started playing with it just to test it.. entered weights and hit the arrow and an ad pops up.. with all thats been going on in the world the need for supplies a lot of drivers do not have time for pop up ads.. we need to move now.. its just a thought..
An ad wouldn't load and I couldn't attempt to use the app because the ad wouldn't load. I understand that devs use ads to generate revenue, but there has to be a balance here. Not allowing someone to cross the metaphorical bridge to utilize any app function until they pay the toll by viewing an ad is heinous. Also, no VPN or adblock services were used, so that's not the issue.
Works as intended. That being said, I can't give it a 5* rating until the following is done; a) they add the 5th wheel option to be included and adjusted, b) they find a better way to have ads (as of right now, waiting 1 minute for an ad before each recalculation can be done is a waste of time).
My only complaint about this app is the lack of admin support. I paid for a yearly service. Had a problem with my email and had to change my email address. I tried multiple times to contact admin for support with zero response. They will not be getting a penny more out of me. This is a great tool that saves alot of time and guesswork for those of us who know they don't know it all.
Love this App. It is very accurate with small axle movements. the accuracy decreases with larger movements. when you have to slide 14 holes or more, get a second scale to ensure legality.
I purchased the app around 2018/2019 to be a plus user to remove the ads and get both options to slide tandems. Now it goes back and forth between the full purchased version and then claims i never purchased the app and beought back the ads and only have one option .. Help. !?
very cool idea and I would absolutely uses without but I'm a heavy Haul truck with 8 axles and my gross is 105500 lbs so there is no way I can use this app please update your app to include 8 axle vehicles. steers drop axle Drive axles on the tractor. flatbed trailer has a three axles Plus a drop axle in the rear of the trailer on the trailer you have a drop axle on the rear of the trailer. I'd also be happy to provide you the weights for the axles if you need them
What the hell lending tree ad doesn't allow you to cancel just goes straight to internet, you can't even use the app anymore. Thanks for responding to my review and fixing the problem all is right in the world again 🖖😐 live long and prosper
I don't know who made this app but I freaking love you!!! Safe to say I'm a rookie in this field. While with mentor he didn't teach me how to slide trailer tandems. So with a Google search and this app. Learn in 5 mins. I use the app now to check my math and make sure I'm going in the right hole. Thank you!!
Love this app. Sure I could do the math on my own, but this app makes it quicker and easier. Need an ios version for the drivers I know that have crapple phones (yeah android is better but try convincing iPhone users of that). There's some improvement potential but for the most part I'm happy with this app.
Too many ads. Didn't use it as I can figure it out faster than I can get rid of the ad before the suggestion.
Ok. After using for free for about 10 times I decided to subscribe knowing that it will be worth of every penny I am about to pay and also such an unique project should be absolutly supported. . I am a trucker and it saved me a lot of time and stress which translates into making more money:) Keep the good work!
This app takes a lot of headache out scaling and trailer adjustment, when paired with the CATSCALE app, you can easily get your weights right in under 10 minutes.
This app is very useful when I bring trucks to the scales. I'm able to cite the drivers with the highest fine amount without busting out the calculator and drawing diagrams for judges. Thank you!
The best app but could you please somehow include the fifth wheel plate I pull close to 80,000 lb loads and that info would be great I have figured out that when it says no legal weight possible I need to move my fifth wheel plate but I would like to see the fifth wheel plate included.
Has been highly accurate i drive from cali to new york pass on scales everytime. Just scale once on cat scale use app adjust to the pin it instructs and perfect even weight like Optimus Prime ROLLOUT!
App is WRONG! I pulled in the scales put in my info, app said ill still be over on my steers, i slide 2 holes further than what app recommended and I was perfectly balanced. 1st use, if this happens on my 2nd try, bye 👋 bye, to the 🗑 trash!!!!!
This is the best app ever. Spend a $99 to get theTo variants without ads. Tells you where to slide your tandems, what hole and and how many holes. it also tells you what the estimated weight will be. love it
Only issue I have is the app doesn't allow you to account for 5th wheel positioning. It doesn't allow a full range of solutions especially if your over on steers.
This app used to work great but now I'm trying to use it and it said it can't load an ad. Just trying to make people pay for the paid version. Stupid. Uninstalling.
Great apps it cut down my time on the scale. Only improvement i would recommend is to add the five wheel and multiple alxes.
Awsome app, I use it every time I get a scale ticket to help me get into the right spot as not to get a ticket for over weight.. love it!!
Very helpful tool . Besides being helpful . It has given me an intuitive sense on sliding my tendums . I no longer need it .
I find this app very helpful when adjusting my tandems and also helps me save money by only having to weigh a second time when necessary.
Helps me out everytime I need to verify weight. I also recommend your app to other drivers that are still learning how to adjust weight.
A great help when you're in a hurry. Truck drive better and fuel mileage is better with weight balanced right.

Great app to use if you struggle with the concept of figuring it out manually. The app is very accurate if you enter accurate info. Some ads but they're not annoyingly in the way constantly. Great app! Cuts out the guess work and trial, weigh, error, try again, weigh again. Move once, reweigh, off you go.
