The app crashed on me and failed to register my breaks, and my off-duty. However, Parminda Singh, at customer support was very helpful in resolving subsequents errors that occurrred due app crashing. He was patient for the both of us, because I certainly wasn't.
It's okay but I learned the hard way that sometimes when you stop for a 30 the app will show 30 minutes off duty but it's really a minute or two behind so if you start driving it will tell you that you only have one minute to drive before your thirty minute break.
Improvement need. when driver is checked in at the pickup or drop off doc. time durring run around and in on duty drive and shift time get used. What is correct method to use. Yard or sleeper opting no one knows. Other thing is a break time warning. On the road there are times truck can not be parked due to size or unauthorized access for trucks. Who ever is writing the app should be on the road for few months with a trucker to learn what they go through.
This is a professional app gps, works every were and any time, I never need to call to fix anything all professional people one time or 2 times i have call in a year. Thank you truckX for a great app so easy to use and work with.
I've seen better. It's ok This app is gonna get me a ticket one minute it says I have 45mn of shift time left so I go PC so I can get to safe haven it goes to on duty status on its own then says I have over 3 hrs available. Not dependable at all. Constant problems and updates. Wish my company would use another eld.
This is my first time ever hearing or even using it but I thought KT WAS horrible boy was I wrong this thing is so bad that I had to quit my job because the company couldn't change it doesn't respond most of the time and time to time you might need to force stop it to respond it's a very horrible equipment to use
The most recent update has made this a junk. The app freezes and would not go into drive mode and it does this everyday, i either have to restart the phone or re install the app while on the road which is dangerous. Will be switching over to another provider soon.
Very helpful and very quick with response nse to correct issue. Technician name was Swati and was most helpful and professional. Very good
Customer service is horrible, and very difficult to understand half the time. Having to add fuel purchases through the admin web page instead of the eld directly is a pain in the rear and should be addressed. Having to manually enter it at the end of the day on a separate website instead of at the time of purchase on the $500 device I purchased to use for the eld and ifta reporting functions makes it feel like a massive waste of money.
Ok I gave a review in June of 2020. I said I would come back and report. I have came across a couple problems. Both have been my error. Yes some things do not work "like I think they should". But they work and work a lot better than most of the others. The recent update is creating major problems. The app freezes becomes very lagy. Have to restart several times a day. Hope this issue is resolved soon.

After recent update app freezes, won't switch to driving mode automatically, cant access logs and so on. Technical support cannot halp. Please fix!!!
Freeze Freeze very slow app not working properly!!! Soon I have to switch someone else
My employer is testing this ELD in my truck. This app is clunky and slow. At times I'm unable to change from Driving to On Duty after stopping. Have to turn off the truck and turn it back on to change. Not one bit impressed by the performance. It's way to slow to respond to touches and very basic looking. TruckX says they worked with drivers while making this software. I find that hard to believe. There's a good reason why this is free.
After the recent updates App is freezing too much. I have to restart it to make it work. Wasting too much time to change the duty status. Please fix it ASAP.

This app is very easy to use but the only problem I encountered is the odometer reading it is not editable like when you start the book it miss one mile or put an extra mile everytime sometime the problem is with the connection the previous version of the app allow to do so but the updated one does not. Talked to Kevin about it and also the exceptions are not complete as described by FMCSA. Hope these issues will be resolved at the earliest
I am very impressed talking with CELEST she is so nice and very knowledgeable and helpful and i learn new update from her and she even talks in punjabi. So i had no problem in conversations. Truckx staff is very professional i will definitely recommend punjabis and all drivers pls choose Truckx ELD
Edit*** I forgot to come back and update my review. App is able to do 8/2 split (see explanation in reply to my original comment). Easy to use, only improvement i can think of from here would be the ability to see how many cycle hours you habe coming back on what upcoming dates so you dont have to scroll down and add everythin manually. Maybe the ability to split a status in half and select what both stauses would be onstead of having to save then go back onto the next one. :). Thanks!

This app sucks. The creator needs to go back to the drawing board and ready do this garbage asap. New update ruined the whole app. Made it slower and you have to click on an option a hundred times before it acknowledges that it's been selected
1) When changing Status, app keeps trying to get Location and wouldn't let the user change the status. Each time I have to FORCE STOP to change my status. 2) App doesn't recognize that driver isn't driving or even Engine is not running , App still Keeps you in the Driving Mode by chance if driver forget to change it. It would be very helpful if it change the status to Eithet OFF DUTY OR OFF DUTY. Because both can be edited but not the DRIVING status.
I had little problem with eld when I called to helpline there's guy sandeep he fixed the problem.he is 5 star dude

Every update is a problem. No beta testing, just release with trial and error. Bad management
STAY AWAY!!! I ordered the device for my truck but it failed to connect to my phone no matter how many times I tried. The support team couldn't figure it out either. Upon requesting for a refund, they caught an attitude with me talking about it's not their problem. WHAT?! Now they are refusing to refund all my money. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU'LL BE FRUSTRATED FOR NOTHING.

Scamming company. Ordered and from day 1, it never worked with my truck. Worked with tech support 6-7 hrs or more in total, still never worked. I tried to cancel my service, they said no. Then at the end of the 90 day trial, I agreed to send the device back and told them I did not want to renew, They charged me for another 90 days. I will be reporting to the better business bureau. So far, I have paid $60+$60+$10 - and haven't received a working device for even one second. Avoid!
