True Edge | Edge Lighting

no matter what I do even though I do have settings on my phone to get the borders to light up, I have downloaded and paid to get rid of the ads on two other border color apps. I can't get any of them to work. Samsung Note 20 ultra 5G running Android 12. I'm pissed because I couldn't get a refund because you don't offer that anymore! and I can't even make or receive phone calls because your service is down and I have no way to call you!

Was 5, now 3 for the billspit licensed change, now I gets ads and locked out until I force fail the repurchase (already own), please restart. It worked way better before!

Always works well. True edge alerts me when I'm in a noisy place like work. It's also fully customizable.

Works ok but only for notifications, would be more useful if it could work with other functions, like AOE. But AOE does not work with notifications, I think.

Beautiful experience so far! Offers a lot of options and presents it in a way that is easy to understand. Phones with edges don't always come with the prettiest options available right out of the box so its nice to be able to take advantage of the extra capabilities.

Has potential, current version is flawed. Good: Has a good variety of lighting options. Bad: Screen turns on automatically after a few seconds of notification shown by app. No way to disable this.

So far so good. Only bummer is I have a Galaxy S20 FE, but the app won't let me change the default colors.

Finally found one of these apps that actually works! Only issue is I can't figure out if there's a paid version that will allow to change color for different notifications. I don't see anywhere where it gives that option. I tried hitting the no ads button but nothing happens. Other then that, it works, and even works for app notifications that other lighting apps didn't!

Literally doesn't work. A small yet highly effective business strategy you might want to take into consideration. creating things that actually work (wow) before asking for any money. It's just bad form. thank the flying spaghetti monster I thoroughly checked out the app before spending anything.

It keeps turning off and I have to go in to settings and even though it's still on, then it works again for a few hours... Why is that?

Works well, been using this for over a year, and I can't fault it. I gave 4 stars because everything can be improved.

I was very hopeful for this app, and it's close, but not quite there. Yes, pretty much all of the app notifications activate the True Edge lighting effect, but not all of them display the "bubble" at the top of the screen with which app you are being notified about, nor do they all show the "bubble" that has a brief preview of the notification. Also, I find it to be inconsistent. One email will come and no "bubble", then another email will come and it will be there. Same with Twitter, Facebook, etc. This is on the Galaxy Note 10. Would love to see it 100% consistent.

Google not putting a simple LED notification light on the Pixel 3 was stupid and not user friendly. That said, while this app is a bit more obvious than an LED, it's a great alternative. Works great on Pixel 3, easy to install. Lots of customization, from colors to edge width as well as duration and repeat frequency. No ads, but still, well worth the minimal cost to upgrade and get the extra features.

I like the concept, immediately paid for it. After a bit I realised my battery goes from 70% to 10% during the night as for some reason my screen keeps turning on, even without notifications. I am sad to say that uninstalling this application is the best option right now as my battery constantly draining is a bit annoying. Nevertheless, I recommend this app to everyone. It's colourful and stylish. My experience doesn't mean it will affect your device the same.

Love it but my only issues are trying to get into my phone while it is active and it randomly activating for no reason. I can't do anything until it is done and it is mighty inconveniencing. Other than that I would rate 5 stars. The customization is wonderful except that I can't change the colors. There is the option to but it doesn't work.

GEORGEOUS visualizations! Useful for notifications. Only problem, I have Photosensitive Epilepsy seizures, & never know how app will affect me until installed. If I can see fixed, static images; or something quite slow, I'd keep it on always. Like a simple color changing every few minutes, rather than a traveling medium-to-fast buzzy-making glow & black pattern as this is, i'd keep it. Doesn't disturb phone calls. Read instructions, you'll figure it out. I didn't turn on ads for Prime preview.

Really like this, I bought the pro version.have only had it on for a day. One thing I would like to see is a preview when changes are made not have manuever to another page. Also noticed the inability to have specific application notifications with differing colors for individual apps. Also the notch is great if your phone has a notch, mine doesn't would be great if you had other options such as fire One Plus 8 and newer. It also seems to be using considerable amount of battery.

i should check it up for a minute cause the pop up came shows that isn't responding.

I liked the concept, but there are things that need fixing. The notification of 'true edge is active' keeps popping up even after turning it off from app settings, also the fingerprint unlock feature makes you unlock twice which is just annoying. I really wanted to purchase the PRO but these bugs made me change my decision. I suggest the App needs a bit more testing, it has potential.

This app is sending me a notification every 15 minutes saying that "Edge is active". Well great, but that means I have to turn off Edge notifications. Kind if defeats the purpose. Update: Thank you, devs! I tracked down the problem and am now enjoying the app. Grest to have the bright visual notification, as the audible ones often go unnoticed in a noisy environment. Nice app!

Loving it so far!! Efficient and fun design, solid user interface that's easy to understand. The "watch ad to unlock pro for five minutes" choice is a good balance of testing pro features without those "auto-purchase unless you cancel" countdowns. That won solid respect points. Will be testing a bit longer before I decide if I'll upgrade, but I will say that if the "Particles" animation supported colors, that'd likely immediately win me over. 😉

Gigantic scam of its 100% free as long as you pay for the scammed up membership... But it is free as long as you pay... Don't forget its free just give your credit card info and it's free totally free.... Free membership after you pay and then it's free.... Give your social fire you and your kids then a payment for the rest of your life monthly then guess what is free.... Huh I'd have figured it'd free when I'd pay nothing but they have a better idea when they say free they mean pay for it huh

There's really nothing great I can say about this app unfortunately. I was very eager to try it because I love "decorating" my phone & really love colored lights. When it was fully Installed & Applied I was disappointed at how plain it seemed. The color of the lights weren't as vibrant as I thought & the colors were very plain do. It'd be nice to see neon, pastel & even themed colors & possibly even different styles of blinking.

I love getting notifications with the dog paws. Gets my attention, very colorful, dependable, I never turn it off. This app is amazing. Thank you 😊
