True Fear: Forsaken Souls I

OK, this game is ridiculously amazing! I play a lot of these types of games and was getting bored with the same old storyline, puzzles and HO's. I can't say enough about how great the storyline, graphics, music, cut scenes and gameplay is. Fantabulous! I was hooked from the start and became completely immersed in it. Now I am immediately starting the 2nd one. It leaves you with a cliff hanger and I love It! Congrats! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

Great experience. Nice balance of PG-rated mystery, mind games, and plain old creepy, plus a healthy mix of solvable puzzles. Light on the dialogue, which I prefer. The notebook keeps clues organized. (A very well-executed notebook, devs!) Cut-scenes are perfect length. Played through the full game in one sitting. Already installed Part 2 – looking forward to clicking "Start"!

This game is so good, I paid for the full version to complete the story! The storyline is compelling. The puzzles are challenging without being frustrating. The "creepy" factor is well played. The touch response lagged and became unresponsive on a few puzzles, but it seemed to correct itself when I backed out and clicked on the item again. The lag glitch is my only complaint. Otherwise, very well done! I hope the second part is as good as the first.

Graphics are top notch and as far as mobile games go the cutscenes are quite impressive. From the minute I picked the game up I struggled putting it down as it was incredibly immersive. The games tells you the areas where actions are outstanding which takes away some of the challenge. I got just as much for my money with the purchase so don't feel that it was worth the spend. in response to the developers comment. I don't want it to be free, I just thought it wasn't worth almost £5.

Great game. Compelling story. Nice, easy gane play. Most puzzles actually make sense, as opposed to other games of this nature. I do wish it would tell you if you didn't find all the statues before it is too late to go back in. I don't want to play all over again to find them. Would be five stars except for that. Also... do something about the painting the Knight game. It constantly didn't work right. Bad format for small screens.

One of the best escape games I've played....awesome! Very well thought out, hints available if you get lost at any point. A guide included for more specifics. The graphics were top notch, and I loved the characters and suspenseful plotline. Just the right amount of puzzles- very unique. You really have to think outside the box......quite challenging and lot's of fun to solve. I was glued to this game for hours and hated to put it down. Can't wait to begin part 2!!

I really liked the first part of this game (free part). You are able to change from; easy(get hints) to advanced (some hints) to expert (no hints), if you get stuck or you just want to figure things out all by yourself. All different kinds of puzzles. I have played many adventure games on the computer, this was my first on my phone. I was very happy and engrossed in it. The story is also what keeps things interesting, wanting to know more.

Fun. A great time waster and worth the money for extra levels. Edit: I had to drop it to 4 stars. I think you have a bug in the bonus chapter with the email puzzle. Once i start it i cannot get out of it. I have uninstall and reinstall the game, solved it but still stuck in the computer, even started a new profile and got stuck in the same spot. Even the skip option doesnt load so I can move on.

Kinda cool game. I had trouble in the beginning to get it going but here is a much bigger problem and a word of warning. It automatically signs you in to Google play. Annoying achievements will tempt you to sign out. eg 'oh you're so clever' achievement for picking something of the floor. Disconnects you from the game. But sign out and then reload later and it automatically signs you back in again. So from nearly finishing the full game I am back at the start. I won't go through it all again.

Puzzles are pretty uninspired and clunky. It relies heavily on throwing up a huge number of doors and boxes that need keys or other obvious items but only one path to be followed, and you go through the steps and the key just gets handed to you. A bit quantity over quality. BUT eventually I got drawn into the story and enjoyed slowly uncovering the mystery. Edit: Removing 2 stars after completing the game, as the story has no ending, none of the ends are tied up!! Big let down.

Really good game, one of my favorites and I hope they make more. A variety of things to do, puzzles to solve, things to find, and places to go keeps it entertaining. It's not too hard and not too easy, and there are helpful hints if you need them. You can also choose your challenge intensity- easy, medium, or hard. The first two chapters are free, and they are long, with 7+ a bonus chapter all together. Once you play this, you'll gladly want to pay for the rest! Great job, developers!

Best game of its kind I've seen in a long time. Love the spooky theme, the story is actually interesting and gameplay is terrific. A few times where touching items was harder to do on the mobile, but could generally get around it ok. Puzzles are a refreshing change from the same old, same old. I quickly paid for the full game after playing a half hour or so, and no regrets. More like this, please!

One of the few game I was happy to purchase. Graphics are exceptional and the overall feeling of the game left me wanting more with each find. Some of the items are hard to figure out how to use, but there is a guide to follow, and for the really lazy, a hint button. Overall, this has well thought out scenarios, music & game play that constantly wants me to continue further. Excellent job so far by the dev team!!! Keep up the great work & Thank you for the free start so can try before the buy!!!

This game is better than I expected it would be. There's a nice, teleporting map, a catchy, creepy, story, & decent hint recharge time. Surprisingly, the demo part of it is actually really long, like an entire chapter, so you'll truly get a feel for the game b4 you have to decide if you want to buy it. Nicely done, my only complaint is that the controls (touch response) could be a tad bit cleaner & the price is a bit steep at almost $5.

I'm only giving 2 stars because the part in the creepy house where her sister once lived at, when you go to the room with the deep freezer and the padlock on the cuboard/closet door, when I unlocked the padlock the game started acting weird. All black screen except for the journal, inventory, map, menu button and him button. When I click on something nothing happens, except when I bring up the inventory and put it back down, it stays on the but layers in out all the way back down, when I pull something out of my inventory and drag it across the screen it shows the object multiple times, I can fill up the whole screen by dragging item across it and it won't go away at all. Please fix this or I will need to get rid of this game. It's a great game but no more starts until it's fixed.

The game has a lot of potential, but the way it plays out is way too complex. Right when you enter the next area.you're gonna explore, the game gives you an item you won't even need until the very end of the level. It makes you collect items for multiple puzzles but only let's you focus on one puzzle at a time. I swear at one point I had like fifteen items in my inventory at once. There's a lot I could say about this game. But if you.wanna play it for yourself, go for it!

What a waste of time. I had the game set on expert, yet I found it insanely easy. I can't imagine how simple "easy" mode is. The puzzles were easy and the solutions were obvious. And so many of the tasks were ridiculous and redundant. For example, in one room, you find a hammer and use it to smash a pane of glass then discard the hammer. Immediately after that, you need a hammer to nail in four boards on the stairs, so you have to solve a puzzle to get another hammer.... in the same room!!!!

This game is truly amazing. Graphics are out of this world, storyline pulls you in, and the puzzles aren't so difficult that it takes away from the game play. There are 3 difficulty modes, the casual mode, hints don't cost anything and recharge rather quickly. They also have sparkles on items tou need to interact with. Gameplay is very smooth. My only complaint is that the full version is 5 dollars. It is definitely worth downloading and playing.
