This is the best phone app that I have used by far. If it included proper call blocking functions, particularly the facility to block whole area codes I would give it 5 stars. At the moment I am having to use to a separate call blocking app, which is not ideal as I have to make the call blocking app the default phone app for it to function effectively.
Works quite well. No issues, a pleasure to use. Great contact feature. Well worth the price. A developer we want to support, IMHO. Update: I've been using this now for a year, and there are absolutely no issues. Really really like it. Total phone, contact and messaging control. It would be neat to see the ability to pull contact pictures from the internet, like from LinkedIn and Facebook etc.. just a thought.
Using this app as a replacement of exDialer. It's pretty good and has nice customizable gestures for swipe left/right, which is what I was looking for. However it really needs to ad an explicit the "edit contact" functionality (you can do it now, by long pressing on an existing field, or adding a new one which is essentially the same thing, but not as intuitive - no reason not to have both)
The biggest problem I find with this app is that there's no easy way, as there is with other, competing phone apps, to block a phone number, for instance, no option in "Recent phone calls" that one can just click on to block a number shown there as there is also no apparent way to block an incoming number as it appears on the screen. It seems that you have to enter the number manually that you seek to block, an extra, unnecessary step. This renders the app less useful than it could be.
I have updated my review after using the app for over a month. I lowered my review because there is no way to automatically switch to video calls and I had to switch back to the OEM phone app. It has a lot of flexibility in configuring it but no video. I do have to commend the app for being very user friendly if you do not have to make video calls.
It's an amazing dialing app but has two bugs to be fixed on my xiaomi redmi note 10. First, on the call log, not all contacts appear with a name, even saved on my contact list, some appear as a name and others just the number with no name even that the name appears on the call screen but doesn't in the call log, I don't know why. Also, when I have the phone on dark mode but want the app to stay on light mode it switch automatically even switching is disabled. Please fix these two bugs
I am a paid user of the app.. I have mixed feelings about this app. It has neat and pleasing interface. A lot of customizations possible which is good for a seasoned user. I have two issues though 1. Unable to locate the callrecordings 2. Have to click several times before i can make a call. It is certainly against the fundamentals of usability factors. I suggest if i click on the number it should dial right away without having to go through multiple clicks
After a long search, I reinstalled this app and now I can't remember why I uninstalled the first time... A good app that meets every of my preferences. The only thing I've found is that blacklist is apparently not working, I've been receiving calls from that list. Another problem I have is that groups are not included in backup, either app backup or contacts export. I just changed and realize that...so annoying! Hope that these issues could be improved.
It'a a better app than Pixel 6 Pro's preinstalled app. I was looking for an app that behave normally during an incoming call waiting. Most apps wake the screen when an incoming waiting call and during the call I was pressing various buttons on the screen with the ear. This one does not wake the screen till you don't take it away from the ear, which is a very good thing for me. More, it has speed dial function and all the features I could think of. Better, you can customize it the way you like.
I really, REALLY, like this app. It's easy to customize, with a ton of options, including a call recorder, that works very well. I've never had ANY issues with it. Yes, the free version has ads, but they are very small, hardly noticeable, and aren't plastered on the screen where they might interfere with the functionality/operation of the app, or cause inadvertent clicks on the ads. Try it..! I think most will like it...
I have tried many other phone apps, but this is absolutely the best. It gives you the ability to show your favorites all on one page and you can move them in any order across or down the screen. In the contacts list it gives the letter of the alphabet down the side to make it very easy to choose a person by pressing on the letter. Minimal ads, and many ways of setting it to my liking
In fact, the app is very good. But sometimes when you go to call logs, you only see contacts without names unless it takes some few moments to reload before the names will appear That's the only thing you have to work on. Aside this, everything works perfectly well with so many beautiful features and options.
The only reason this is getting 3 stars instead of 5 stars is because I paid to remove ads, but the ads are still there! When I click the Remove Ads option again, it just says "Okay" in a little bubble at the bottom but ads still show. Yes, I'm dropping TWO stars because I've now said for an option that's not doing the ONE THING it is supposed to be doing! Fix this and get the 5 stars or GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!
I downloaded this to get rid of the "Answer with RTT" button, but wow it is so much more! Extremely customizable, including features I didn't even realize I'd want. Love it! My ONLY gripe is no visual voicemail... but I can't seem to find any other app that works with Verizon Visual Voicemail either.
I used to love this app cos it works perfectly for me but offlate, when I'm doing something on the phone and a call comes in, I'm unable to pick it . I could hear it ringing but the app won't show for me to answer the call . Other times too when I missed a call, it doesn't show on the notification bar , I have to open the app before I see that someone called........ Kindly work on it 🙏🙏
I am currently using this app and i love it. it has alot of customization features and it woks very well indeed . But there is something very bad i faced alot . When i start a call it shuts off the screen so i have to unlock it to see the interface of calling and it is happening also when the call ends it keeps the screen off until i have to unlock the phone manually . Thats related to the proximity sensor even though it works well with other apps . Please fix it cuz it bothers me so much
*UPDATE* It saves the contact in the filename! STARS! I have been wanting this for a very long time. Ever since Google decided people should not protect themselves from unwanted calls and disabled the feature, Google doesn't like personal protection for some reason, I have wanted a call recorder. This call recorder does not work well as a handset call but when you put it on speaker it works great! You need to configure the settings to your liking. I have mine set automatically record every call.
Since having an Apple iPhone I always wanted the full screen contact photo and since I'm a 'boomer' who had several Nokia's - T9 contact searching is something I love. The Google phone although very good helpfully 'adjusted' all my contacts when dialing by adding the UK prefix to French numbers... this app fixes that. To conclude, the app is configurable, easy to use and just works. At last a proper phone application that allows me to have something consistent across all Android phones.
