True SD Card Capacity & Speed Test Pro Version
It's not the most pretty app because the focus has been instead on real-world testing and good algorithms. It is, however, easy enough to use. The only way to know your card is good is to fill it to the advertised capacity. Typically this takes less than an hour but can be longer if the card is particularly slow or enormous. But this app is happy running in the background (unless you use one of those unnecessary app-killers) while you continue to use your phone. Or, just leave it running overnight. Piece of mind is worth the wait and there are no shortcuts to it!
You can also test your phone's internal storage. With USB-OTG you probably can test thumb drives too, depending on how your phone works.

Great app. After using too many slow micro sd cards and only to be disappointed with the read and write performance and buffering issues and lag issues. So I went a bought 512gb Sandisk Extreme Pro micro sd for my phone on Amazon until the until 1tb gets a little cheaper. I did a 100% test and then it verified. Great no errors. Great app Alan. I glad to know I bought a genuine authentic 512gb Sandisk Extreme Pro micro sd storage card.
Great app. I checked my 1tb Sandisk micro. I let it fill it up to full then verified data. No issues were. It took 12 to 15 hrs to complete which is to be expected on such a large micro sd storage card. I just used in a backup phone. Didn't overheat my phone in the process. I restart my phone before using and reformated and set test to 100%. It pass no errors no where not on none of the files. So I feel comfortable feeling it up my data. Great app Alan. I have 235gb and 128gb I'm going to test.
Performs as advertised. Not a fancy UI, but clear enough. When 1st used, analysed my phone's internal memory instead of the SD card. Emailed the author and he very quickly explained this can happen & app can be directed to analyse the card. Nervous about the real size or speed of your SD card? Buy this! It gets the job done and author provides excellent support.
Everything it promises ..Solid App from what I can see, I bought pro version although both well, the paid/pro version is best because it tests everything it needs to with one tap and after the tests (plural) it gives you the info you need going forward.. Easy and Automatic, thank you Developer.💰-worth it-💯
This app is great. It provides a way to test for failing cards or counterfeit/overstated capacities in a clear, easy-to-understand way. The price is trivial compared to the value in my opinion. Thanks Alan!
Great app. No nonsense disk speed test. I'll review once I've received and tested my 128GB SD card. A cool feature would be to set the size of the individual temp files or maybe have an option to write 4GB or more per file to test the file system as well.
Excellent app, did exactly what I wanted: to check my SD card for read/write speed and capacity to make sure it was legit. Very clear to use, well written explanations and a no nonsense interface - well done!
Simple basic but very accurate. Load your sd card with temp files. Read them every day for 2 weeks... If it is still reading you have a very reliable card. Tip to author, after reading up extensively on sd card reliability you may wish to automate this process.
It did exactly what it was supposed to do. Advice: After the test is completed, click on " settings " and delete temporary files right away, or the capacity on your card will be at full, and you'll have to uninstall the app to have the temporary files removed.
Very straightforward and easy to use app. Bought a card from what I believed to be a reputable seller but the packaging that arrived was very suspect and written in Chinese. Decided to try this app before I got angry for no reason. Card passed with no errors. Worth it for the piece of mind.
Does what it says on the tin. Gives you the numbers without the confusion allowing you to make an informed judgement. Excellent little app and inexpensive too. Highly recommended for users of all types of sd card in their phones.
This app doesn't pamper the user or hide things and stays clear on what it's doing. This developer is a rarity that thinks about the user. We need a new classification, a new word for developers that care, because anyone can code at this point just as anyone can write a YouTube comment.
Does PRECISELY what it says it will. Refreshing for an SD card app of any kind. Thanks to the Dev. Good job on not trying to B.S. people into purchasing a product that they either don't need or that does more harm than good.
I kinda wish it was a little easier for someone who doesn't know much about computer vocabulary to understand what the results are supposed to mean I'm not sure if it saying my card is counterfeit or just messed up from poor data installs. Like I'm not sure what it's saying when it says 223 test files consuming 22.7 gb?
Absolutely accurate, great, simple test. No other app does this for me. (maybe I'm missing something) Dev responsive. Except I lost one of my cards in the carpet somewhere. Can True SD help me find it?
Very nice app. But very large take a long time. To speed up how about creating a dummy file that has no data in on it. Every so often. Then write your test file.
It took forever before I finally just gave up. Almost 13 hours on a 128gb micro sd card and it was only at 18% complete in the verify stage. Use the windows test takes a fraction of the time.
Awesome app! Verified my 512gb Samsung Evo Select on my Note9 was legit and sound... zero errors. Thank you, price well-worthwhile, a no-brainer. Will gladly recommend to others as opportunity presents!
Already caught 2 fakers using this app. I immediately purchase the pro version too! Great app.. can you make the fonts a bit bigger? or is it just my phone?? haha sam a71.
I tested this app on a SanDisk card I know 100% is genuine & working perfect yet the app just kept closing and when re-opening the app I got no info or way of continuing the test.
Brilliant and very thorough. Checks properly, not like most of the others that do a very basic check

This is amazing I've tested my Nano Card for Huawei and it really took time to read and analyze it. 👍
When I tried out the free version it told me I had LOTS AND LOTS of problems with my new SD card on my phone. I went ahead and purchased the full version to more closely examine the problems and it was "amazing" that all of the problems had disappeared, all I had to do was pay and it was magically fixed. I can't say for certain it's a scam...but I won't buy anything from him again and am deleting the program just in case it has a vindictive nature.
