True Value Customer App

I have written 2x to True Value telling them the app doesn't connect to my Google browser. (The common problem reported in these comments) Finally, they suggested do an uninstall/reinstall. I tried that. Still NO CONNECT! Sad to say, but these folks seem like a shelf full of DIM BULBS. Not good for a hardware store. They clearly want all their rewards card customers to use the app, then seem to IGNORE our requests to FIX THE APP. I give up. Hey, where's that ACE App?

This app is worthless. I do not want to give an overall rating as zero is not available. I cannot use this app to shop, see the local add or use either the project or paint sections. All it does is tell me I don't have a browser to use. I have 3 different browsers on this phone. The app doesn't tell you what browser works with the app.

This app is worthless. I am a registered True Value Rewards member, and can access my account on the web just fine. However, whenever I try to log in to this app, it tells me my username or password is not correct, or that my rewards number was not found. I was hoping that the app would save the day whenever I, inevitably, forgot to take my reward certificate to the store with me, but this app is a huge disappointment.

I am a HUGE fan of real hardware stores (as opposed to those places that are too big to have what you need) and I shop & use my account here reasonably often. Over the past 4-5 years, I have received EXACTLY ZERO rewards. Furthermore, there are easily 10 "Redemptions" on my account where 2500 points vanish at/about 3 AM. (Check your history, ) Fnally, app crashes VERY often. Hate to say, this program and app aren't helping me one iota. Plus, Lowes is closer and cheaper, sadly.

I like the app. But only problem is it keeps force closing on me please fix this problem. I have the memory. Also I had w card that was issued to me from Big Jo True Value in Santa Fe, NM but when I wanted to register it to the app it said "My card couldn't be found." If the force closing problem is fixed I will increase my rating but for now I am giving only 1 ⭐

Why only Rewards? Why not a simple shopping app? Because my local store doesn't participate in the rewards program, I can't even choose the store as my favorite. The app sets *my* store as a store 80 miles away in the next state! When I search my store by ZIP code, it shows me stores at least 60 miles away... plus, it separates rewards/non-rewards stores into separate lists. Why? I want to shop my local store. Please fix this. Our hometown stores need our support!!

Terrible app. I work at a true value store, when I search by zip code it doesn't even show my store (1 mile from my home) and it tells me the nearest store is an hour away. We use them for distribution, we have giant true value signs. Apparently they don't know we exist. Poor job.

So far this app does not do anything. Literally, nothing. I've scanned for several orders, and nothing shows up in transaction history, and never any rewards or coupons.

Terrible app, typed in my zip and it brought up a store no where near me. Just wanted to see if they had some concrete, the store is less than a mile away somehow couldn't bring it up in the app. Remembered why I deleted it previously.

App keeps stopping and gives a location for what it calls "My Store" 75 miles away. I have a local store that is less than 6 miles away in my own town. So yes this app sucks. You cant change your store location either.

Needs Some Development Time. It really is hit or miss but if they spent some time developing this app it would be really useful for the reward members. I have gotten it to work occasionally but it doesn't work most of the time.

No help just wants you to look at their ads. I searched metal rods got ad after ad of everything but metal rods.

Nice that it can show my rewards points and card barcode. Too bad it tells me I don't have a browser when I try to shop for products, I might mistake it for an actual store app if it did.

Very buggy, won't launch a web browser or host in app shopping. Error for "no browser installed". It's 2021 people, your app should let me brows local store inventory and not crash every 15 seconds.

This app only opens the True Value web site in your browser. The site is worthless also because the search feature doesn't show anything that you are looking for.

Always closes on launch. When it used to work, it's info didn't seem up to date or accurate.

Can't find my member number that the app looked up via phone number and inputted itself into the rewards box. I typed it in manually from my card as well, no luck. Seems just broken.

I can't log on despite the fact that I know my login address and password. Better go back to the drawing board on this one. And, I love True Value. I just don't like this confounded website.

I close the app and soon afterwards I get a message that the app has reopened and is hung. Feels very dodgy and badly executed to me.

Can't create a new account. Can't recover an old account. Useless. With all the money this corporation has I would think they could hire proper app designers.

No good. Only thing it does right is show you your rewards and card. Tells me I need a browser for anything else. USELESS APP

I have loaded and deleted this app 5 times now, it still won't recognize my sign-in even though I have an email welcoming me as a new user. Worthless.

This app will not let me search for anything 😒. Keeps telling me there is no browser open. Doesn't even give me anyplace to search.

It worked...once. Now says cannot connect to server. Fix please because I cannot access my rewards certificates.

If I wanted to go to the website, which his also very confusing, I would have just gone to the website. App isn't useful or helpful.

There is no point in installing this app....it does not do anything worthwhile. Install the ACE hardware app...it is much better

Worst App in Play Store. Crashes when clicked on. No responses from developer. Stay away from this one.

What everybody else says: it won't connect to a browser. It's a shame as I really do like my local TV store.

App doesn't work. Will not find stores, keeps stopping. No useful information about store inventory. I will try Ace now...

Installed. Shows my account and coupons but can't open browser to view weekly flyer. Uninstalled.
