Disappointed the experience of knowing how to use this app is very confusing. This should work similar to "find friends" on iPhone but it is far from it. If someone is in trouble, lost their phone, misplaced their phone, or was taken, what good does it do to need to tap "OK" on the other device if it is not around or if that is what you're trying to locate.
A little difficult at time. Better then maps which requires you renew every trip. The fact that it needs to be used all the times to talk your child is what makes it useful since it doesn't require their intervention.
It's really hard to rate this app when I can't even get through the set up. None of the verification codes work (keep getting a message that it's invalid) that and the app will just randomly freeze. Maybe if these bugs are fixed where I could actually try the app I'll update my review...
I was a bit reluctant to download this Google App at all bt there are good reviews as well so I'm gonna try it if works for me. Will update the ratings as per my findings. Nevertheless the idea is good, simple n clever. I had the same idea few months ago. Still have a few nire. But to know where your loved ones are it's brilliant, I lost my phone yesterday.. If only I had this installed instead of Google find my device which did not help a bit. Hope they fix the bugs real soon.
This app is great in concept but it's weakness is that you need a separate app from the default contacts and maps apps. I think this would do better rolled into the Google Contacts app and Google Maps. Most Android and iOS users will have one or both.
It works sometimes, about once in every 20 days, but most of the time it says "No Internet Connection". I more than a 100% sure that I'm connected to the internet. I tried clearing the cache and data, restarting the WiFi, reinstalling the app, restarting my device. I still get the same result. All my other applications are working smoothly when I access the internet, except this one. So I think the application itself has the problem.
