Been a customer for many years. The only problem I have is deleting payees on the bill pay. Otherwise customer service great.
This is by far the worst banking app I have ever been forced to use. The bank's customer service and website are also trash.
What happened to this app? It used to be so quick opening instantly, now it takes 53 seconds to almost 2 minutes to open.
Usually accurate, but sometimes has trouble confirming deposit amount, even for printed checks. Update: deposit amount has been confirmed consistently lately, so upgrading rating to 5 star. Update: app now takes the front image rotated 90 degrees, and looks highly distorted when taking the image so it's not clear how I should center check. Uninstall, install did not fix it. Downgrading to 4 star.
Entering the check amount is convoluted and confusing and the app has trouble reading the pictures correctly
Very slow takes forever to log on, very antiquated system.
It very impressive. I can't even make a principle only payment. I have post the payment and then call a branch to have them do it...as well it doesn't show the breakdown of payment between interest and principle. Also it shows you still owe for the month if you pay early...
Extremely slow and most of the time it just never loads
Seriously bad banking app. My outside bank account was verified, but it still doesn't recognize the account and will not let me transfer funds. Tried doing so with the app and through the website. I did it once before my account was verified and that was it, no more. Also, you need to download another app for "true" card management.
Smooth operating! Never had a problem.
Mobile deposit takes much longer than other banks. It always wants you to check the image again
After new update can no longer use fingerprint log in.
Very easy to use, very simple to transfer money between accounts. Might be a little better if there was a feature to log transfers from one account to another, so that I know if a payment went through to the right place, or if I got a payment that week and how much I got instead of having to do the mental math.
I don't use the app often but when I do it's pretty decent. I haven't had any issues at all, so all good right now. The instant picture deposit could be better in terms of recognizing the check image or not. Overall, yes, I would recommended the app considering the institution is not a major bank institution with a decent app. Good luck...
This TruWest app allows me to conveniently do almost all of my banking online. This is a great app! I moved out of my old county where there are not any TruWest branches or networks available. I am able to still do all my banking with TruWest because their app is equipped with any need I could possibly have, with the exception of being able to bank in person and physically go into a branch! Great stuff!
Buggy and inconsistent ie. Will frequently disable finger print to sign in for no reason and after every update. And now they moved the place where you set it up in settings so now I don't even know if they still have it... but it technically works so idk.
Easy to use. Look isn't as appealing as it could be. Features seem outdated compared to a lot of banks. Frustrating you need to download additional apps to work features.
Since the pandemic set in, I have been using the app monthly because its easier than going to the drive thru. It is easy to navigate to get the check deposited. If I can do it it has to be easy to use, and I like it! Thanks.
Its always under conatruction and down, so when you want to know your balance, you have to call in or wait. Very inconvenient. Plus very slow on the transfer funds, when you need it, you have to wait.
App was working fine. But I tried to log in with my fingerprint and that stopped working. Apparently the system for maintenance and there was no alert. There's no communication from the website to the app. That needs to get fixed.
This app is super slow, and seems to time out often with an "unavailable" message. Also, I tried depositing a check using the app and it took me about 8 tries before it went through.
I like some of the features, but as a relatively new user, I am not liking that I go through all the steps to add a payee and it says " sorry we are not able to enter your information at this time please try back later." Very frustrating. I have had this problem with 3 payees now. I tried calling the bank tech support for help, but could not help me either.
I'm not a big fan of the mobile deposit function on this app. It is finicky and not always easy to get a check to go through. I also have Chase bank app and it is super easy and way better with most functions.
Taking photos of check is difficult because app takes the photo when it wants to and not when user has framed check. This should be made where user is allowed to frame check then indicate ready fo photo. Real pain the way it behaves now.
I have been pleased so far with the app and functions supported. It did force me to update my old cell phone when security updates required a newer OS that was available. U only wish that important aspect had been flagged at the time of the app install before proceeding, but the need is understood.
Data displayed is ok. Options are ok. No print capability makes this app almost worthless. Many use just phone. Wireless printing should be available.

Can transfer between my Savings and Checking accounts very easily. Does not update quickly enough, got hit with 3 consecutive overdrafts, so I got another app to give me more accurate numbers.
Before the last update you could log in by using your fingerprint. It was easy and convenient. That option has now been removed and I have to manually enter my password when I want to look at my accounts.
