Pleased with this little app! Works perfect as far as I'm concerned, just makes things a little easier by getting rid of the tedium of copy and paste. I really appreciate that someone took the time to make this app. Edit: 3/28/21 | I still completely agree with past me that this app is a gem. I can't think of any other app I've gone to more than once, completely unprompted, just to give it a positive review!

The share icon for items in the UK Amazon app is not where shown in the tutorial. When you've found it and chosen the camel icon you are taken to a website which isn't in the least optimised for use on a phone. But it's free. It works. A real app would be better though.

This has saved me plenty of money. Covid19 has resulted in ridiculous price inflation. Laptops and other technology I have required for working from home have been selected using this app. I was able to identify products that have maintained their original price. I recommend!

This is the weirdest approach to an app ever. The app is nothing but a tutorial telling you to share the Amazon page. Every time you want to view pricing info, you have to find the Amazon page again and click share to trycamel. Even then the info is outdated with a message that their server is down all the time. The chart is nice which is why I left 2 stars on the review. The app itself is useless and has no functionality and really just confuses. I want an app that remembers my selections.

Shows price history without ads with price watch as well. I use their PC app which works well too. It's great for finding deals with it's database of historic pricing, and the developer offers this for free. I highly recommend this app.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Lacking an official camelcamelcamel app, this provides a clever way to quickly access the website instead. Most of the negative reviewers here don't seem to understand that this is a connector, not a full-fledged, traditional app that stands on its own. If you're opening it from the app drawer, you're doing it wrong.

TryCamel app on a Moto g5 Plus phone using Opera. Have the browser window opened to an Amazon item page. Tap Opera's three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner for a pulldown menu. With TryCamel installed, the first menu item is Share, with a Camel icon next to it. Tap the Camel for the price history graph. Graph illustrates how prices jump up and down. It's good to avoid purchasing on an obvious transient price peak. Camel seems to have price histories on 99% of Amazon items.

Does exactly what it says. It adds an option to the share menu for an Amazon item to redirect it to camelcamelcamel. Much faster than doing it manually. Thanks

Used your instruction with the owl pixture from Amazon. The link YOU provided did not have the shate sign and going to the 3 dots...no word "share" there! So far woth your example this is not working! Will try later with something I'll find on my own. Tried with item I was searching. It does show you what the price has been lately but not where to find that price. Found this useless. Deleted.

Not much to say really - it works as advertised. Great app. You just set your locale on the TryCamel app, hit the "share" button on the Amazon app, share to TryCamel and all price history and item information is displayed. Much quicker than manually using the CamelCamelCamel website, especially when you're on mobile. 5/5.

It's not a tracker app, it's a tutorial and a shortcut to link your items in the Amazon app to their website but it's still handy once you get over the disappointment that it's not a proper app

Does exactly what it says on the tin and does it PERFECTLY. Must have for people amazon who shop on their phones. (not a full app, open the app for tutorial on how to use it!)

Four stars, not five. Mainly because prime day deals and lighting deals are not included in the price history or alerts which is somewhat misleading.

I assume this is some kind of scam. I use camelcamelcamel all the time so installed the app. Goes through a supposed help at the start, tries to get you to follow some owl link that doesn't work, and then you click Done, and it quits out of the app.

Looked good while it lasted. I only used it twice in a week before it crashed due to what they said are "disc drive failures". They promptly posted requests for donations to help fix the problem.

Not sure why this app is getting bad reviews, it works as advertised. I don't gotta type the website and paste the Amazon link, it directly takes me to doing both after sharing the link to this app.

Completely inaccurate. When I put in the price I was looking for (the price it was a few days ago), it says it is that price currently, when in fact in real time it is $13 more.

Works as advertised and works well. Though it seems it should have an interface to the camelcamelcamel site for going through your watches. Oh well.

Since I've updated my phone to Android 10 it keeps directing me to the American Camel site even though I've set it to the UK on the app and am on the UK Amazon store. This has made the app useless

Can't locate the Camel share button. It was there before, however something looks different now and I can't use the app as advertised.

Very simple app (as it should be) that works perfectly to add a share target that looks up on the official camelcamelcamel site

This stopped working recently, after I started using the Amazon Smile. It's either not showing me the item or showing the item on American site (I'm in UK).

Works great. If you price check Amazon this is an essential tool, it let's you easily send the product link to camelcamelcamels website for a history!

Superb, easy to use application but unfortunately the new update to the Amazon app directing you to the smile dot amazon address has broken it. Could this potentially be fixed oretty pretty please?
