Love, love, love it...but encountered a problem. Some of my downloaded apps appear as a grey android robot. However, when using the pre-installed Bixby app, downloaded apps appear as they should. I'm hoping there will be a fix for this issue because I really love this app. I originally used it to get rid of Touchwiz on my old phone, which worked great. Not so much with my new phone. Gave 4 stars because of the problem. Will upgrade once issue is fixed.
Out of the 5 launchers I've used, this is the coolest and most fun! Seems to work well with my S8+ and various icon packs. Sadly, the TSF project appears to be an abandon as there have been no updates in over a year and none of the downloadable 3d widget links work. Even so, I think I am sticking with it until some Samsung OS update breaks it.
I had the day off, so I decided to play around with my phone and get a new launcher. So I've been installing, uninstalling, installing, uninstalling, Etc until I get to this one. I install, and spend hours upon hours configuring it. Oh my God, this is amazing! There are so many features and animations switching between screens. It is beautiful in every way. Although, I cannot add any widgets at all or themes. It takes me to the Play Store and says item not found. please help!!!
Despite some quirks most versatile launcher I've seen so far. Different way of doing things that once you get used to is pretty cool. Ability to change icon size is necessary for me. more icons per window instead of having to endlessly scroll through screens. Allows you to customize the positions of icons in both portrait and landscape, doesn't automatically shove them wherever when you switch to landscape. Multiple selection of icons VERY useful. 4 ½ stars is about right gave a 5 to offset.
I found the launcher to be slightly complicated. The animation, widgets and features very very nice. But the settings are fairly complicated to understand. Also, i did not understand why is everything not under one settings tab. There is absolutely no need to have access to settings through multiple apps and sources.
Cool launcher, just wish I could remove the six PERMANENT icons that are completely unnecessary after initial setup. Also wish the 3D widgets were actually available for install (play store always says it can't find them). It has potential, just don't think it's quite ready for prime time. Uninstalling until the permanent icons are removable.
For as much as the premium version costs, this kind of stuff shouldn't happen... App worked great on my S8. Upgraded to an S10E and now it crashes every time you long preas any icon that isn't on the home screen. Tried using rhe support email listed on the app page, but the sending server cant deliver the message although it continues to try. This means rhe account probably exists, but hasn't had any mail checks in so long that the account is over-quota... And to think - I paid for this...
I deleted the app because after downloading and applying it, I was unable to locate any of the other apps due to the icons no longer being used. The icons we're all replaced with an Android and they had no way of identification.very badly designed. I attempted to integrate with another screen set to bring over the icons, but it was not able to load. Will not be recommending
This launcher app has totally fulfilled my expectations, and that is not easily done. All the options & functions not only blew my mind with the creativity of it but also made it easier for me to organize my device, and the graphics were oh so very cool. What other apps do you guys have out there that i dont know about. Id like to check those out too.
Looks great overall but there are three major problems: 1 - some of my installed apps don't show up on the app lost, 2 - MANY of the app icons are great Androids, rather than the standard app icons, 3 - most of the (supposedly included) 3D widgets are no longer functional. i wanted to loved this launcher but, right now it's a major fail
I love this launcher. It is very unique in its design and functions. I used to use it all the time. But now it has a problem with the icons. It doesn't recognize them and so they are little grey androids. It also force closes a lot. Please fix this and update the launcher so I may continue using it. I paid for this a few years back and I expect it to be maintained. Please fix it
Needs to be updated for newer devices...Way too buggy! Majority of stock icons won't mask with default theme for android pie. And changes out of default launcher when trying to edit within app drawer. Needs a custom font option as well (size, color) Typeface is way too small...A shame, seems like it could have been a "great" launcher!
Used to be my favorite launcher, but after switching to a non-rooted Galaxy s7 Edge running android 8.0, a good majority of non-system apps icons only display as a green android robot vs. the true app icon. None of my other launchers are having this issue. I've seen a thread online of others users having the same issue with this launcher. Not sure developer knows how to fix. Best launcher out there otherwise.
i always used this launcher on everyphone i have, lately i changed my phone to samsung s10 plus, strangely the launcher prevents me from changing the home wallpaper, it just comes back to the stock one. Everytime i change the wallpaper it does not has an impact, i have used all the menu available to change the wallpaper, it just didn't work. If i use the default launcher i am able to change the wallpaper, it just strange. Edit, it's because it needs permission to access gallery that's all, done
Hands down the best launcher, of course thats an opinion, but I have used a lot of them and this one has a lot of the functionality of the more technical ui and the customization of all the glittery ones. I recommend this to anyone who jas enough RAM and wants a fresh great experience on thier device.
This used to be one of my favourite apps of all time. But seems like it is not being actively developed anymore. I'm getting weird errors like not being able to move widgets in portrait mode and the clock widget is unable to add alarm.
Disappointing.. Considering the price of this premium launcher, the fact that half of the icons only show as a grey Android template is really bad. I remember reading about this issue the last time I gave it ago months if not years ago and still this havent been fixed. Ive tried everything to fix this myself but its all up to the devs now.
Some features are not updated, some are hopelessly discontinued, it is still best launcher app, none other would get a 4 🌟 review from me. This is the top launcher as I'm concerned and it would get 5 🌟 if 1) it would stick to being my home app without giving me android default options every time I hit home button, it's disturbing 2) some widgets it has in its 3D section are not linked to Google Play 3) no updates since Feb 2019. I would pay up to a $20 price tag for it (if one time only)!
Everything is good ,but why it can't adapt on notch display .I've one plus 6 . After clicking on menu bar , top corner search bar and my wifi logo and battery logo are mixed like top on another ,,and also the icon are not showing (a black Android icon shows on it's place) I've been using this launcher for long time,,but now on notch phone & display , it's not performing well ...hope u resolve the problem
Dear Sir/Madam, I am using TSF launcher for last 2 years. I am a big fan of TSF launcher. I have 61 Applications running on my Mobile. I am facing a issue regarding Icons in Menu. The Icons of the Application's inside the Menu showing as Android Icon. For example, if Menu is opened 2 applications(Opera Mini, Keep Notes) were displayed as Android Icon. It is the earliest problem on my Android version 7.0. And now I had a different problem. My Android Version is upgraded to Android Oreo 8.0. Now some(More than 10 Applications) of the Icons shown inside the Menu looking as Android Icon. I hope you understand my issue and difficulties in using TSF launcher. Please kindly go through it and give me a solution. I hope you will resolve my problem very soon. Thank You.
I set my wallpaper to the image I want displayed. However, after a few moment TSF will go to a gradient background ranging from green to purple. This is the reason I stopped using the TSF application in the pass. Please assist. This is an awesome launcher, perhaps the best around but what good is toting customers can customize their phone if they can't even customize their wallpaper. Cont... I tried to contact customer support but got nowhere with the email listed below. Deleting app.
Let me just say that this has been my favorite launcher since I bought it for 15 dollars back when I had my S3 and have used it on every galaxy iteration all the way up to the S8. The only reason this a 1 star review is simply because the developers have neglected this app for nearly a year with no signs of life. I have lived with the icons showing as gray Androids since my s7 which I had for 2 years and have sent countless messages to support to no avail. So if you're a developer reading this..
edit: email contact is not working (email returned).. uninstalled and switched to Nova Launcher (much much better)..... Don't update!! I have updated (Feb 2019) and now some shortcuts stopped working - it says app not installed, even for direct dial shortcuts. Other users are reporting the same. Lots of other things working weird. Some shortcuts won't work after each restart, have to recreate them. I don't see icons of newly installed apps and can't add them to homescreen Some icons turn to that grey android one randomly. It is getting useless. Please fix this. It was the best shell *****
A few days ago I wanted to try one of those flashy launchers that has 3D effects and comes with a 1000+ themes. I tried 4 of the most popular ones. After suffering through 4 of the clunkiest, most obnoxious, ad infested apps, I gave up. Then I saw TSF and decided to try it. I am stunned at the quality of this app. It is flashy to end all flashy but it is smooth and the attention to detail is staggering. And it doesn't look like it was designed by a 10 year old. Thank you.
