Constantly crashes. Has never properly (or consistently) worked for the 5 years I've owned it. Same thing with every new phone I've upgraded to or tried to connect it to--which is about 8--including an iPhone. $400 for an extremely basic programmer, canned tunes and a gauge dashboard. Totally unreliable. Totally not worth it the headache.
Had for a few years now and no updates. Awful app with no support. Constantly crashing, wish I would have bought a different tuner. Thet either need to support the app or discontinue the tsx tuner
like stated a few times, the tuner itself work great, but the app is total trash. There's no start button to the 0-60 time, 1/4 mile, nor 60-0 break time.
What worked for me was plugging the tuner in and hitting reset while it is plugged into the OCBD2 port to connect to bluetooth. thank you +james beier for the idea that saved me!
Not as great as you'd think, no start button on the 0-60 time. The gauges are really bland, it's like it came out of the first green gameboy. Honestly this is disappointing. Spend this kind of money and this is the app they provide.
Plz someone help! I recently upgraded throttle body. Cold air intake, and soon to be rear gears, after I did my sct tune my throttle response is laggy and I definitely lost acceleration, probably something simple i looked past but i need to know if thats normal,, or maybe because i haven't installed exhaust yet? App is good does what advertised, a little bland and underwhelmed by features but overall satisfied
Thought I would be able to see more parameters, such as far. And seems out dated and just gets us to buy the tuner.
tuner works but yall neet to do something with the guages. oil pressure would be a nice readout too.
the app will not load the tunes as described and now my car won't run. Thanks
love tune, cannot run performance test start missing. Limited inteface dashboard.
Doesnt even connect to my SCT tuner!! Idk if I'm doing something wrong but theres no instructions so I'm not sure
Same as others..tuner works great but no start button for 1/4 mile or 0-60 times or 60-0 times
Needs more customizable displays like the Torque Pro app!
Where is the start button??? I can't run these tests. I spent $400 for this device. Is this a joke?
I'm glad what about me u for every body else but not for a disabled vet and be firefighter that can't remmber or work I did my time for my country state and county thanks for ur support
Does what it needs to do, but not gracefully.
The tuner itself works great, I've never had any issues connecting or programming my car (02 Mustang GT). The gauges really aren't that great, on my phone or on a tablet so that's subpar but I don't really use them for anything. Other than that it had the features I wanted/needed and is fairly simple to navigate and program. The product itself is fairly user friendly but I feel the cost compared to other tuning options is a little steep hence I bought the obd2 portion of the itsx used. I'd recommend it but I'd also say look around and make sure it's what you want first as other options may be better suited for your experiance level and mod level.
Very clumsy software to use. Back button doesn't work. Doest show tunes that are emailed.
App worked fine for a while, then it updated and I can't do 0-60 and quarter mile times. The start button doesn't display on the screen
If I have to pay that much for the bluetooth adapter I might as well pay for the diablo or the jet chips
I think if you wrote a bad review, it's because you don't know how to use it. I plugged it in and was confused at first bit figured out if you plug it in and reset it, it will pair just fine. Then to load a tune you need to turn the key to accessory without starting. Loads tunes and gauges just fine on my 02 7.3l F350, paired with Galaxy S5
Connection was good no problems with the note 3, tune loaded just as quick as my other Bama tuner, very very disappointed in the Guage layout... Almost 100‰ fail. Just wanted a basic mph, air/fuel, rpm. And maybe a nice dyno chart feature, would even pay for the app or update that allows this
The device works perfectly. No issues what so ever. All I did was checked that the unit had an up to date firmware before plugging it in the port in my Mustang. Plugged it in, turned the key to the ON position then sync'd the device via Bluetooth to my Nexus 6P. No issues at all detecting nor using the device and app.
I downloaded the program and all three tunes worked just fine, had a little trouble pairing but it got the job done. Although the tunes worked the everything else failed like stats and all the other programs that were supposed to come with this program. Might as well have bought the cheaper version of the sct tune
Every time I press check for updates it just sits at the " checking device info" screen and never changes no matter how good my internet connection may be. Other than that I think would be an extremely good idea to add an information tab on the app that explains what a lot of the terms used in the gauges meanin a simplified matter.... This app is not for novices.
I have had this app for about 3 years so I've used it extensively. It has never consistently work right. Constantly freezes, loses connection... and no, it's not anything with my phone. I've tried multiple Android devices. Even the Apple version has problems. It's a little better, but still clunky as hell
App constantly freezes and you must force close. The first time loading a tune it froze at a 100% after 20 minutes and I had to start from scratch. After three tries I ended up getting the tune to take without the app freezing. After five months with this tune I need to load a towing tune. I plugged in the tuner and have tried to open the app on 3 different Android devices and none of them will scan for devices so i can't find the tuner. On all three devices the app will not minimize and connot be closed without force closing. Currently I am 28th in queue for a call back from tech support.
There a lot of negative posts, though mine isnt overly positive I have no issues with the app or device, making adjustments is pretty easy as far as what ive done thus far, adjusting Idle, fuel richness/ leanness, Fan temperatures, shift speeds and pressures. Only set back Id say is the guages look far outdated... Maybe an option to adjust colors and make it look up to date? Other than that im satisfied!
