Who can use TU?
- O2 UK Pay Monthly customers
- O2 UK Business customers (excluding Mobex, some B4B and data only tariffs)
- Movistar customers in Argentina, Peru and Colombia

• Stay in touch – choose between your mobile network, Wi-Fi or 3G/4G. And keep connected, wherever you are.

• Travel friendly – use TU over Wi-Fi abroad and your minutes and texts will cost the same as they do at home.

Just nothing when trying to register, like it doesn't even have an associated server.

This app is good but very difficult to use. UPDATE!! UPDATE! Why is it like that?

A supreme piece of foot shootery by O2, they are phasing this out end of November and I shall be phasing out my relationship with O2 at the same time. I have a fully functioning phone, unlocked with an O2 sim. In order to have the facility to have WIFI calls with O2 in the future I will have to by a brand new network locked phone. I neither need a new phone, and if I did I would not want a locked one.. I am off to Three which will allow me to keep my old phone, have the ability to make and receive WIFI calls and I can get an unlocked phone from them on contract in the future if needed. Golden Lemon O2....

Never really been that impressed, it is possible that my internet doesn't support the calls but even in stronger internet areas, calls don't always come through and go to voicemail. The text feature can also take a while to update. I use it as I have very limited signal but it's not a great app

Calls generally ok but when I get an incoming call the accept call tap is never present or obvious resulting in a panicking faff to answer call. Also, app does not respect phones "reject numbers" list and allows them to get through! Sort this out o2 if your going to pedal this product as a solution to your shortfalls.

The call feature is great but if 02 supported a proper integrated way of using wifi for calls and texts, as other networks do, I wouldn't use this in a million years. It's essentially pointless as the technology exists to make it redundant but 02 for reasons of its own decides to inconvenience customers in this way.

This was a successful service used by me for atleast 4 years. Sadly it will be withdrawn on 30th November 2017. The reason is they want you to buy the latest/expensive phones that support their new wifi calling. So like many others my phone will be useless at home due to O2 inability to provide network coverage in my area.

Randomly disconnects and always disconnects if on a call when another call comes in. Often tells me I need an internet connection when I already have a full WiFi signal. Same problems with HTC M8, Samsung S7 and S8. I can only think this application is not being actively supported by the developers. Very frustrating!

Hit and miss that this will work. When I receive a call the caller cant hear me so I have to call back in order for it to work. A number of calls and texts dont make it through. Shame as I live in a bad coverage area often work from home. Thought this would fix that but unfortunately it's not up to standard.

This product is an abomination. Calls don't always come through. Some go directly to voicemail, others don't stop ringing when I answer, those which do make it through generally drop after a few minutes, and i am sitting right next to the wifi router. O2 should be ashamed of themselves for the lack of support for real wifi calling at this stage of the 21st century. I had hoped they were better than we at this, but they are equally lousy and that really is saying something.

A nice idea, but really quite poor. Unreliable at answering calls and providing notifications. Crashes occasionally. Buggy behaviour - for example I had an entire conversation the other day with my phone still ringing! Not a good enough solution for WiFi calling. As I get no signal in my home, this app was a major reason for me choosing o2 as a provider....big mistake

My contract is now not even worth the paper its printed on because O2 has left me and many others with either very poor signal or no signal whatsoever and have stopped people using this app. Bravo O2, I will NOT be upgrading I shall be leaving after my contract ends. You need to realise a persons' need to communicate where there is no signal and only wifi. I cant call or text from home because I live in a Not-Spot of all things. You have alienated too many people with this move...not smart.

Edit2 keeps telling me I need an internet connection when I have a really good one. Edit: Seems much better recently. Not as good since the update, can't seen to list and play just voicemail messages in one list as before. I have very patchy mobile coverage at my home office so this helps quite a bit. Also works via my mifi in the car which is on a different mobile network.

Since the s6edge update the app cuts calls of after 7 minutes of fibre connection. Never previously a issue before the update but now when trying to have important calls the call just drops connection with a message network connection issue. Staying in a signal area where it barely supports g and trying to get calls is frustrating to say the least. Also no way of reporting this through the app either or seeing if there is a fix as I notice that no reply from 02 to other comments.

TU GO is not perfect, of can be clunky. AND 02 are going to terminate it on 30th November, I can't get a network signal where I live so I rely on it to use my phone as near normal as I can. I haven't got a compatible phone, so if I cant use thus app I might as well use another operator, in fact I will as 02 are not really interested in giving a proper device to its customers, just making money. BT have offered a £5.oo/month contract with my existing phone. I'm moving. By by 02. 😡😖

Noi. M. Oct 17, 2017

It's ok to use as an emergency contact app but is unreliable. When someone phones me they hear the line ringing as usual but my phone does nothing. It makes it seem like I'm ignoring people which isn't very good. Some texts never come through and some don't send. It's pretty much only really reliable for making outbound calls. Don't count on receiving any. OK in an emergency but isn't a substitute for actual mobile signal.

joa. G. May 31, 2017

It used to be five stars, but for some reason I no longer get notifications for my messages, and it does have a bit of trouble with dropping connection.... Please help with message notifications, as I always used to get them... I tried uninstalling the app and re installed it, but even that didn't work... Will give higher rating if I can get message notifications again

Tom. S. Jul 11, 2017

Doesn't work, radio button constantly pulses on/off. Texts come through both on this app and via normal app. O2 sold me a 24 month contract based in this app giving me the passive ability to use WiFi as if it was network signal. It does not work like this at all - you must make the call / text from WITHIN the app. Might as well use Skype then!

B. T. Sep 25, 2017

Worst app ever. I live in an area where O2 reception has dropped significantly so my family need TUGO to make/receive calls and texts. It used to work well but it never works now for calls so means we all have contracts that we can't make calls with (Or receive) when we are at home. Notified O2 - No joy. Utterly useless.

Pau. C. Jun 7, 2017

This app is all I can use as I live in an area with literally no reception! The calls drop every single time I use it saying "connectivity problem" and the. It just says call failed.. absolutely dreadful app! It will ring occasionally when I have reception and my Normal ringer is ringing too. The messages occasionally do not send and I don't get notifications half the time for calls and text so miss people all the time...I suggest you fix it 02 and people are relying on apps like this. I have a Microsoft phone for work and I occasionally work from home and it never ever does that!

Cra. B. Dec 5, 2017

I have used this app for about 3 years now and it has been brilliant, working in the middle of the North sea means no cell reception so used this app to keep in touch with family members and probably the only reason I stayed with 02. Looks like my 8 year relationship with 02 will be the same as the Tu go app - no longer available. 02 you silly silly people

Way. T. May 12, 2017

This could work really well but has far too many issue's. Calls drop out, it gets confused between normal calls and WiFi calls. Fails to ring on a few occasions and then doesn't notify me of the missed call untill i open up the timeline. When I'm connected to WiFi, I can make 1 call or text then if I go to make another, it thinks I'm not connected so I have to switch off WiFi then switch it back on! Time to improve please!

mic. w. Sep 27, 2017

Its good but i'd like a block freature only because some numbers i have blocked on my phone still come through on here. Sometimes the call accept button doesn't show so i have to open the app to answer a call. Apart from that its usefull. Better if o2 pumped out a stronger signal so i wouldn't need this app
