Basically just a high quality image of tube map. Could do same just downloading TFL pdf map. Lots of room for new features, e.g. search, minute map and planner.
Super handy, great if you know roughly where your destination is but tricky if not.. be useful to have a search function!.. if there was a way to tell you which stations are easier to walk between that would be even better!!.. As a Londoner use it regularly 😀
Further to my last comment, you can add an icon for this app to your home screen, you just need to do it manually by dragging it from the apps list screen. But, more importantly, there is an omission now in the rail maps, of Thameslink, a major north-south route with central London stations at St Pancras, Farringdon and Blackfriars. One other potentially useful rail link to include would be that of the South Eastern high speed trains between Stratford and St Pancras.
Terribly poor. To be a good app you need to incorporate all the maps into one like the old south eastern map that had all mainline, tube, docklands, and overground in one great unbeatable train map. Like the one on Railmap UK.
Has a bug for me where if I open the app and hit the button in the top right to see other maps, then flip back to the tube map, the page is white. If I flip back to any other maps they load fine.
Incredibly handy! You can open it up even with no reception which is brilliant in the underground when you have to think about changing route due to delays and cancellations.
The tube map. No more. No less. Clear. Zoomable. Exactly what you need when you're underground - on the tube. For great, real time directions, get CityMapper too.
The map is OK, at least it does zoom, but it's not sharp then fully zoomed. It also lacks interactive search feature of some other tube apps.
Galaxy S5, after moving away from the full underground map with the arrows, returning to that map again results in an empty screen. The other maps are visible though.
Fab, it's easy to zoom in on the image to plan your route. It's the original map which is nice and clear.
It's good but I only have 3 stars because it doesn't really zoom in enough. App makers should remember that anyone over the age of 40 (at least 50:/: of population) have deteriorating reading vision.
does exactly what it's supposed to do without any annoying intrusive ads plastered all over it. thank you to the developer
Perfectly good representation of the network. Pity it can't extend to the entire overground rail network too
Not an intelligent or location-aware app but does exactly what it says on the tin, which is exactly what I was after. Use it regularly with no complaints.
It is a London Tube map. It lacks any other added functionality. It doesn't require internet. Perfect!
Just maps without any index of stations in all maps. These maps wouldn't help in the least. Waste of my MB in down loading this APP.
RUBBISH ! UNISTALL. It takes a lot of space just to force advert down your throat. There are very small sizes with no ads and absolutely FREE. 1star is too much, if I could I would give "minus 5 stars". A lot of stupid people out there giving 5stars right left end centre just because it doesnt cost them nothing.
This is a highly effective map for those who are lost in London and need a guide. Furthermore, you can use it offline!
It's a tube map. It works off-line. It's clear and it magnifies without distortion. Perfect.
Good map but need to show zones. Good that its offline and clear. Would have given a higber rating if it shows the London transport zones.
Great. Good range of maps, gives a country boy the confidence to travel around the city. :-)
I find this app very useful. I often go to London and it's so handy to have a map app on my phone to help me navigate my routes easily.
It was great until I received an offensive message asking me to agree to seeing advertising tailored for me. How presumptuous. That was so intrusive that I uninstalled it.
Nice and simple and offline. all you need as long as you're familiar with how these maps work.
Pretty much practicable and easy to navigate through; also enables users to know the zones with reference to the fare charges.
This app is invaluable to me. I used it a lot when I lived in London and also on visits I made back there. Although I don't currently visit London I intend to when things are easier.
it's a life saver, u can't be stuck, if you know we're u want to go, by using this app, it doesn't need internet, it's very clear map of underground train
I always find this really useful. As I don't live in the area, whenever I travel in the London area it is good to be able to use it.
It's ok but the paper pocket map would still be preferable. Not everyone has smart phones (no they really don't) and I don't want to have my phone out all the time, it's quicker and easier to have a map in my pocket, than having to get my phone out of my bag, activate it, find & open app etc. I haven't had to have the app long so don't know if there are annoying ads, but the paper one doesn't have them butting in when you need to look at it. Bring back the paper map and give us the choice!
