This app is fantastic! On my first trip to London, I was able to easily navigate the tube system without issue. It's nice that the app finds your nearest tube station and gives directions. The directions were very clear on where to pickup your train and change stations. Thanks for making my first trip a success!
Very useful for plotting routes around London. I arrived new to the city, and left with thorough knowledge of all the tube lines. Interface is simple and easy to use, and includes info as to what stations are along your route, whether you're going east, south, etc; very clear. Thanks!
Helpful app when using underground but if you are first timer it will bit hard to understand which tube to board on. For example it says take district line and get down at specific station. But district line may have different route. So it would be better if you show final destination of the line in brackets. Like what Google does. That way it will be easy to understand.
Purchased the Ad free version for use on a Galaxy Note 9. When trying to plan a route I can find the Starting Point/Destination via search but when selected it does not fill in the respective planner Starting Point/Destination field, making the route planner useless. Tried the App on a OnePlus 5 and it works correctly. Update: Issue resolved very quickly. Thanks!
The adverts have a tendency to pop to screen, even when the app is not being used. For example I used it 2 hours ago, and currently writing on Messangers. All of a sudden, a full screen advert takes over the screen, which is hosted by this app.
I am first time traveller to london and it was so easy to travel places using this app. I just have to search the destination and it would show the underground train station, lines to cover and walking along the station. The only advice if they can include all walking points as well and also suggest place
In order to remain free, this app wants to use your device to "proxy traffic". At no point does it state what kind of traffic your device will be routing or why, just that they can use you WiFi and even sometimes cellular whenever the device is "idle". Again not defining what idle means. No thank you. Google Maps does the routing portion of this app for free and there are plenty of other free tube map apps that don't use your device in undisclosed and potentially nefarious ways. Uninstalled.
You really shouldn't nag for a review. Actually it's not that great, text missing when using the route planner. Poor low resolution map Also directions show the same time at every station... I can't be 9 stations along my journey at the same time I start at the first station. The planner tells me to take the "lineStatusData" Want a refund
Route planner would not update the destination with a "point of interest" when I'd try to select it as a destination. I should be able to click on "destination" and then "point of interest" (British library for instance) and have that update as the destination. It did not reliably work.
Great app. I lived in London for years before this app was developed and I don't know how I managed because my sense of direction and memory of stations and lines was awful. I have now moved out of London. A recent business trip from South Wales was a breeze because I did not have to rely on my awful memory. Thanks.
it's clear and concise. what would improve it would be the ability to enter options such as lift access. For the less abled, those with prams or luggage this would be a boon instead of searching across the map for the disability sign.
easy to use, very helpful! could add the cost of the travel, especially when traveling between different zones. I used ann oyster card, which is recommended, but didn't know how much money to charge it with that will be sufficient for my staying.
Sent me in entirely the wrong direction and couldn't locate the open air station I was stood in. Heading from Paddington to London City, app trying to take me via Wimbledon! Would have missed the flight if I'd not got off and doubled back. Plus was all over the place with locating where I was.
Excellent and simple. Like the route planning by point on map, but search by text was a bit flakey. EDIT: Text search not that flakey, just not that forgiving with input that's not 100% error-free. My fault! Excellent app.
It's a very useful app to navigate in London tube system. It worked well while I didn't have internet connection. I like the fact that London tube has platform number, it makes much easy to find it. The app also tells which platform it should be.
You can plan your tube journey easily and see it highlighted on a map. Apart from that it shows a list with stations in your journey and the direction you should take the train. The only thing it is missing are the fares.
App is unaware of the British habit of closing down all public transportation on Xmas day. Unbelievable . Use Google maps. They know about it Shortly afterwards the Developper kindly replied with "check status" Unfortunately in my viewpoint it is still true . I am unable to add a screenprint to proove it i And so I got another reply from the developper ! Ik actually had to open the menu to check the status of the lines.Waaaaw Now THAT is software😒.Uninstalled
Interface looked good initially, but the idea of my device being used as a proxy for unspecified 3rd party traffic, and a read through the 'privacy policy' set the alarm bells ringing. However good it is at tube navigation, it's a non starter. Uninstalled. ☠️☠️📛📛📛☠️☠️
The only London underground journey planner that takes me from Stratford to Tower Gateway via Docklands Light Railway no changes. Every other app takes me via Central line. I've experimented with this app and it has not failed to give me the best route. Definitely sticking to this app. Thank you.
Want to visit the Excel centre. Destination search doesn't recognise "Excel" nor the nearest station Custom House, which doesn't seem to exist in this app. Back to the old fashioned way of working it out for myself.
Had a day in London and worked a treat. Check the routes offered, as the top route might be faster, but means further to walk. Remember to check route before entering underground, as you may have no signal down there. Highly recommend.
This app is easy to use and when working out where you want to go it gives you all the details ie tube station, which line, platform no., If and where you need to change... Makes getting around London super easy.
First time used this app, it helped save time on choosing the right tube service. Premium is only worth it, if you live in London or Greater London. If you had advert free option from outside South of England, I and many would definitely pay.
Updated. Now can't get into map. It opens with a page about terms & conditions but I can't get beyond it. What have you done? I used this app all the time. Now I'll have to uninstall and find another. Thanks for nothing developers!
Overall it is a good app except for the unfortunate fact that it does not notify the user of line closures. For example, on the weekend of April 27/28 it gave us directions for taking the yellow line which was closed due to planned city events (a protest and a marathon.) As a result we were quite late for an important engagement.
I already paid to not see ads. I did not agree to share resources or I could just have used the free app. now it says if you don't share you will see ads. This bait and switch is not good. convince me on these changes and change in my privacy settings edit.. I have looked at other reviews and clicked on see ads. so far I have not seen ads so could be hasty with the review however it is not very clear with the instructions. I will Definately change my review if stays that way
Brilliant for route planning! You can save favourite destinations, also love that accessible stations marked. Haven't found ads too troublesome yet, would consider paying for ad free if necessary. Great app 🙂
Very easy to use and helpful when going around London. I really like the feature of what is around and that the lines are live. I also like how the routes aren't complicated, as some apps take you all over the place. The ads aren't even that annoying. You can go premium, but there are a few things stopping me, e.g. its at a weird price at £2.09 a month, the maps need to be updated I can never find my home address and I think it should say what direction you're going e.g. Northbound.
