Doesnt update you for contests. This app hasnt been updated in over a year, is pretty buggy, and constantly throws ads at you. Are the commercial breaks not enough?
I love the station and the app works well. Only downside is added commercials but I understand why they're there.
Has an advertisement that takes forever to load and then won't close out, so can't even use the app 90% of the time
Apparently there is no longer the live streaming service for this app. Uninstalling the app now.
Great App! Only reason it is not a five is due to the app being a little slow to update sometimes.
Can't even stream without ads blocking the screen. Trash app

Awful app. I love the radio station but your app needs serious work. Constantly crashes. And forget about trying to emter contest from it. Everytime you click on one it completely kicks you out of the app. I really want to like it but currently deleting it off my phone bc its good for nothing but taking up space. By far the worst radio station app ive tried to use.
I took 2 stars off because of performance issues. While listening, it continues to stop streaming and shuts off on its own. Another problem is it won't accept information input while trying to go to different links thru the app.
I absolutely love the Mix 96.5 radio station. After comparing the app to the radio, the app is almost a full minute behind. So do NOT get the app just for the contests.

Its always 5+ seconds behind which affects your ability to enter contests on time. When entering contests through their app it is difficult to read the pop up boxes on rules, etc.
Let's me know what song and artist is playing and what is coming up so I can catch my favorite songs.
It glitches often and doesn't load the contests. It will shut the app down. Every phone I've owned I've had problems with this app.
I love all the contest and alerts! it lets me know the artist and the song! It's just a good Mix of music of old & new that I like too!!

Go back to the old version. Nothing works right. It won't play without a stupid commercial first. The play button doesn't work half the time. Way to sell out!
UNINSTALLING I love 96.5 the station but the app has apparently been abandoned. Today is 6/11/21 & a "cinqo de mayo" contest was the first thing I saw. It is SO annoying 2 me anytime I try 2 stream music/tv & the ad plays (LOUDLY in this case) but the content fails to follow. ATTN ADVERTISERS: ur ad may b fine & ur business the best but when it comes over (LOUDLY) followed by crickets...it just becomes the bell that triggers annoyance in our pavlovian minds..
