Though many errors were seen, yet eventually I was able to turn the service indicator off on my Triumph ST RS 765. Many errors. Had to start the engine to get things going, suspect battery voltage was slightly under the needed 12v. I used the app on a Nexus 7 and a pixel, pixel running Android 11. Experience was the same on both, so doubt there is a Android 11 conflict. The UI navigation is odd. For one I have UI gestures 'on' on my device, so swiping can switch/kill app and interferes some with the swipe only interface. Also, this swipe is not A11y compliant, be good to add some left/right buttons. EU regs as strict as they are and all. All in all, worked a treat and cheaper then a long drive to the nearest dealer to do the same for basically same $$ I spent. Oh, it is fast, twist the throttle and see very little lag in the UI displaying information.

Essential tool for my Benelli TreK. I use it to troubleshoot, reset the TPS, log engine fuel management data and make EFI map adjustments. TuneECU makes TreK ownership much easier and saves a fortune! For example without it I would have to take my bike 200km to town and find someone equipped and competent to do jobs TuneECU enables me to do at home. A Lonelec cable is available to connect OTG capable Android devices but I use 1/. an AMP 6 Pin Superseal to DB9 adapter assembled according to the instructions on the TuneECU website. 2/. A UT-880 USB to RS 232 adapter cable (FTDI FT232RL chipset). 3/. An OTG adapter cable (USB-A socket to Micro-B Plug). The FT232RL adapter cable is automatically detected by TuneECU for Android (note this is the only cable that works properly for Android). It connects quickly when "Connect" is selected from the "ECU" menu (with the bike ignition and kill switches in the on position). I do not have an Android device with simultaneous data communication and charge capability so I use the Windows version for map updates. A 10 amp battery charger on the bike and charger on the PC prevent potential low voltage. That avoids the risk of communication failure while writing to the ECU and a hassle I would rather not face.

Have used the windows version on my benelli tornado with a lot of success. Decided to upgrade to the android version so I can use my tablet, bit more portable. Downloaded no problem but won't connect to the bike, came up with an error message stating incorrect cable, even though I'm using the same cable as I did with the windows version. Used the laptop and reset the TPS. Have I wasted £10 or am I missing something?

2001 triumph sprint st. Everything works using my USB cable. Was able to reprogram map, adjust parameters and data log. Data log resolution is very low, but its not the apps fault. The data log .CSV format is non standard and really hard to use outside of the app and not all selected parameters got recorded. I would love if the format could be adjusted so I can uploaded to datazap.me to evaluate data

I bought this to see what map was on my 2014 triumph thunderbird 1600 after getting a set of short tors. Found it had right one already. Dealer had installed it at the 500 mile service. I thought he told me that but couldn't remember. And then messed around with the maintenance and diagnostic. Was really impressed. It worked perfectly on my Samsung galaxy tab e 9.6. I probably would have paid $99.00 for it.

Very powerful! I've used it on my 2015 speed triple 1050 and my 2019 street triple 765 RS. The only complaint I have is that something broke in the new update: I can't seem to be able to scroll across the TPS or RPM graph, when I'm comparing maps, and clicking on most of these cells don't work when in compare mode. Works fine in modify mode though. Feature request: like we can in compare mode, it would be nice to be able to view individual tps/rpm graphs normally, like we do in compare mode.

Worked perfectly. No drop outs. I use to have drop outs using the old windows version. This one is rock solid on my android tablet. And my old homemade cable worked like a charm. Thanks Allen. Good work. I have been using tuneecu since 2009 on windows and found this last week. Definitely worth the $10.

All sorts of bugs with registration, now wants you to pay separately through PayPal and sideload the app. I don't mind having to pay, but the experience is now 1000 times worse than the old windows version. I'm looking at alternatives.

User interface is pretty poor, needs to be updated. However, application does work nearly all the time and has saved me some money compared to going to the dealer. The app has allowed me to bleed my ABS system and reset my service indicator. 2018 Street Triple 765 RS.

This app is absolutely fantastic. I have just rebuilt and fixed a project bike. This app let me log the first warm up after head gasket and cooling system replacement. I fixed the idle speed issues by relearning stepper motor. Cleared fault codes, ran tests. Best tenner I spent in a long time!

Good app - works very well, would be nice to be able to turn on the abs pump on Aprilia to bleed the brakes. Works way better than Guzzidiag. Datalogging is not easy - the CSV file doesn't sample each sensor consistently - but if you have determination you can work with it.

I had a triumph, rocket classic and now have a roadster and this has been invaluable. I've used it in troubleshooting, repair, downloading and and modifying tunes for both of my rocket 3s. Huge cost savings. Knowing what's wrong before you take it in will save you money.

The app works pretty well and it's easy to use. However, if you are looking to reset the service light on a Explorer 1200 it will not work. I tried it on a 2017 Explorer and no luck...

Very easy, simple and quick to use. Connected to a ELM bluetooth device I've previously used on cars in seconds and told me exactly what fault I had with a 2012 tiger 800. Once resolved removed the error light. Would highly recommend.

First of all - I had to download the demo app from Internet on my laptop, transfer it to the phone and install only to see if it connects to my Triumph. Why is that so? Isn't it easier to download demo from Google play store? Nevermind, after it had connect I bought the full version and after a bit of tweaking it had worked as expected. Thanks to the developer(s), it was the money well spent!

Not so great. Bought an OBD adaptor from Lonelec, very good company, recommended by the author. All plugged up, will not connect, just hangs with a blue light in the corner. Using Torque app the adaptor is fine. Phone is a Samsung J6+. Support only available through Facebook. NEWSFLASH! Not everyone uses Facebook. Very disappointed and clearly not great value for money. I'll see if l can get refunded. Update: Google Play won't refund it, I'll see if I ever get a reply from the developer. Please think hard before buying!

Works great on my 2013 Street Triple R, but it does give an occasional "Bluetooth Device Not Compatible" message, even though its the same BT OBDII connector I've used for years. Then the message goes away and Tune ECU works as if should.

I don't know if it works or not. Turns out the program won't find a WiFi connection to the machine I'm working with. So I'm ordering an interface that is strictly Bluetooth. Maybe the programmer can add WiFi connectivity? Thank you.

Before on my OnePlus 7T pro i could use the app flawlessly, but not on as Samsung S9. It keeps on hanging. Need to delete the user.lic and trace.txt to be able to start the app. But when clicking the connect button the app crashes and closes.

The TuneECU app was able to diagnose and clear a check engine light as well as install a new fuelling map on my 2006 Triumph Speed Triple. I'll be using it to help me balance the throttle bodies next. No complaints!

Mik. B. May 18, 2021

Works as intended. I was able to reset service indicator, reset TPS, disable O2 sensors, test my injectors and fans and flash a custom tune, all from my android. My bikes ride much smoother at lower RPM's now and I don't have to deal with local shops or dealers! Make sure you have the correct cable or it will not work! You cannot flash tunes via Bluetooth on Ducati's. I used this app on a 2010 Ducati Streetfighter 1098 and a 2013 Streetfighter 848.

I had a Veepeak OBDII bluetooth which I use for my car. I thought "What the heck. I'll try it." Tune ECU works fine with my 2012 Tiger 800 ABS. Found out my stock fuel map is obsolete. Dealer Tool never did that. Plus I always have to reinstall the USB driver to use DT. Bravo Tune ECU.

app worked to reset my engine management light and reset the service icon on my 2016 Tiger 800. Very happy with how it worked. The lay out of the menus could be better but I found what I needed eventually.

If you're a Daytona 675 owner, CHECK YOUR VIN. £10 on this and £120 on the bluetooth adapter to find out I can't flash a map to the bike (which is the only reason I wanted it) For me a waste of money but for someone else it may be a good purchase!! App seems pretty good though

Mar. F. Aug 24, 2021

i purchased the app on my old phone and it worked. However on my new phone my license is lost. Emailed developer and whilst they did respond the communication has been slow and then non existent without sorting my issue. The instructions supplied are poor quality and to buy a new license you are expected to blindly send money by paypal. Best avoid. For my triumph motorcycle I bought a maintenance mate instead, at least that is a physical device I only need to buy once.

Nik. Jun 7, 2020

It's a good program, but the android version is kinda limited (at least at my bike, Shiver 750) I would love to be able to change rpm limit, change the thermo fan kick in, change the idle below 1200 rpm. I know all the above may not be safe, but at least you should give the option to do so, with a disclaimer of course.

Ada. D. Oct 23, 2020

Leaving the app open in the background breaks my samsung fold 2 swipe to unlock. Going back into tuneecu and click back and confirming exit allows swipe to unlock to work again. Very weird bug. Please fix.

Waste of time and money for Superduke 1290. Can't clear error codes, nothing but a fancy dashboard on your phone. Wasted money on a lonelec adapter and cable as well. It can connect to bike but that's where the usefulness finishes.
