I get my paycheck two days before anyone else does. Also, mobile check cashing is a breeze after the first one clears. I've deposited checks from multiple different lawyers and never had an issue. I love this app and card!
terrible card to use they cant speak properly on the service department, not to mention useless in handling any issue you may have, they steal your funds and not worth using there worthless card, app, or any other service. please save the hassle and find a different card. you can and will thank me later
App randomly stops working and sometimes wont load for days at a time. Works ok when it actually opens.
This card is so convenient for bill pay not to mention getting paid up to two days early! Such a life saver! And linking all accounts to it so I can pull or add money anywhere anytime.
Do not bank with them, I been with them 3 years and they been taking money from you and when you address it they have no knowledge of it or when someone issue you a refund they said they gave it to you the same day. But disconnect the chat after they say that too you even the so called supervisor's do the same thing. I'm going to find a better bank I advise you to do the same. Also they charge a fee every time you use atm.
This bank changes withdrawl limits with no notice. When you ask about it, their support pastes the "current" policy then states completely different limits than they just posted. We will slowly empty the account ($500/day, $3000/month) until it is empty and will then close it. It is not okay to deny your customers access to their money
Can't log in. Won't send email reset.wont send sms reset. Customer service on phone is horrid. Why? Worked fine, didn't change anything, just.....why?
THIS APP IS USELESS!!! I can't even access the app after opening let alone use it's features. I've tried EVERYTHING from uninstalling it and re-installing it and contacted 4 different specialists on the website for the card and absolutely nothing has changed. For an app primarily used for managing finances, you'd think they could manage to figure out why you can't even login..Like I said... USELESS!!!
This app is ridiculous it makes me change my password every time I want in it I have buughr several different phones and also tried on other carriers it's stupid it doesn't work
The app itself works well, it's the people behind the app and company that I just cannot deal with anymore. Never again will we get there turbo card with our tax refund. I've tried multiple times to figure out why our card won't work at ATMs but we'll work on other transactions, customer service is AWFUL and have yet to help me. I hope CS sees this and maybe tries again to help with this issue. There was once a rooster crowing in the background of the CS call, not sure what that was about.
Not able to log into app to see balance. I have no idea if my check was deposited into this account. Also - They charged me $4.99 just because I had an account. I didn't even have money on this card, I withdrew it all right away... So it's showing a negative balance now... Very Unhappy! Don't even get me started with transferring money to someone, it's not possible unless they have a personalized greendot card (Not one you buy from store).
I have used this app several months and it currently will not open. The Bill pay feature keeps saying Oops something went wrong! It is as if this feature is blocked. I was on the phone w customer service for over two hours checking to see if a due bill payment went through. I would hope the Bill pay service would work after a week's time. This would be misrepresentation of services to the American public if this feature is permanently disabled.
Horrible horrible horrible. Can never get a hold of a person. If you have an issue, you are sent in circles. I had to order a new card because I never got the first one. Then when I lost my card and had to order a new, same story. They said I would have it in 2 days it has been 7. The app is atrocious as well. Always loading. Cant make transfers. Even worse now. Account is closed and got a text saying that they will re open it and then when calling they say wrong number and hang up
I have had nothing but positive experiences since I started using the turbo card. Direct deposit allows me to get my check a day or two early, depositing paper checks is as easy as it gets, and I can track my balance several ways. The one down side and only reason for the 4 star review is disputing transactions. It would be a perfect app if one could dispute transactions through the app and not have to download a separate form then mail it in and hope you get refunded. Only flaw I see.
This is horrible! I tried the Turbo Visa hoping to get my return a few days early and liked the idea of no atm fees. I had to reset my password 8 times before I could finally login. No early refund either. The free ATMs are very limited and from what i have read they just give an error message or don't work when it comes to waiving the fee. I am never using this card again. Turbo Tax should have stuck with NetSpend!
Overall, it pretty reliable and certainly convenient for checking my balance. One problem I have though, is the app frequently has a delay in showing deposits, changes in balances moved to/from the vault, and occasionally shows duplicates of a charge as "pending". Sometimes for days. These minor irritants don't affect the actual amount of money in the account however, and so it's not a big deal.
Won't let my password manager on samsung auto fill my info with my thumbprint. Have to enter it each time which is annoying.
They have the Worst customer service(not the corporate office, but they have nothing to do with the app or a turbo tax card) It took them 4 times over a period of 5 days just to get my email changed (and entered correctly in their system, so I could reset my password.)They take over two weeks if you cancel a transaction to get your money back, it took over 10 days for them to approve the money for my credit card. I suggest going to a bank! They are all of some Chinese origin. Don't use them!!
I love being able to use this card for my direct deposit from my employer. I love that I can send money to my different accounts fairly easily and check the balance on the card quickly. Customer service has been swift and helpful, too. The only thing I don't love is the bill pay functionality between the website and the app. The last time I tried to set up bill pay, it crashed so frequently that eventually I gave up and paid my bill over the phone. Overall, great and useful app!
Complete and total Bull$h¡T. Unable to activate card. I am being told that my information doesn't match what they have in file. I believe after 40 years I know my social security number. There is no way to speak with a live person when calling the provided customer service number. This is most obviously a scam of some sort and TurboTax should use more caution when offering fraudulent products to it's consumers. I plan to leave bad reviews on each of my social media pages to spread the word.
Have two turbo cards!!! Cause they make you get a new one... The down fall is you cannot switch between accounts within the app. Nor the web site...super frustrating to have to call all the time to check balance... Please fix... Other than that I love the app... Thank you!!
Will never use this card for anything again. We can't get a live person on the phone, can't readily check balances without verification through text or email, they only list the primary tax filer on the card (making it difficult for the secondary/spouse to withdraw funds) and the daily limits are not accurate on their website. There are better companies out there.
Ive been using turbotax and this app for the pass 3 years and everything has been great. Now that everybody in the world is home waiting on a stimulus check the app keeps messing up and i never had this problem before. You guys need to find a quick solution for this problem for i have money in the vault that i CAN NOT ACCESS due to this issue. FIX IT PLEASE SO I CAN CHANGE MY RATING
It wont load the log in screen. Ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and still wont load the log in screen. A box pops up saying there was a error. Not to happy with that when ive been using the turbo card and app for awhile now. This is bull. Every since yall updated the app it has been messing up. Something needs to be done.
The app has been down all day and I even updated it and uninstalled and reinstalled. The phone number won't even go to the automatic recording it just says there is a high volume of calls try back later and hangs up. Once I no longer need this card I am deactivating it and I will never use it again!! Terrible!!
I've been using this app for 5 yrs. I love the stash option because it allows me to only spend a certain amount while the rest of the money is put up so no one else can touch it. One con is it charges you $75 just to rent any car on top of the fees you're already paying to the rental company. You DON'T get the $75 back either. Also you pay $2.50 for out of network atm on top of the $2.50 or more you already pay for the actual atm fee.
I hate this app so much. I solely got it because I needed somewhere to receive my tax returns. I received them all fine and dandy. I try to go and transfer the money to my bank acct and they lie and say you can, when you can't. They'll let you transfer money only if it is to another TurboTax card! This card is useless. You literally can't do anything with it, but pay bills or send money to someone who has the same card as you! As soon as I get the $ out, I'm closing my acct! Good riddance!
I absolutely love the Turbo Card. I have been using it since I received my income tax check on it last year. I love the app, and how you can keep ur money stashed until you're ready to actually make a purchase. I get my checks deposited on it as well, and I always get my money at least a day early.
If I could rate zero stars I would. My account was closed for no reason at all. Now I have money on my account with no way to access it because each time I call they give me a different email to send a copy of my Id to. On top of the fact that they consistently taking out monthly fees. The customer service reps are horrible when it comes to this. I would not recommend this card to anyone and I’m definitely gonna tell my friends and family about this horrible experience and terrible service.
This prepaid card sucks I've had it for 2 years just now started using after they charge you a $5 fee every month to use the card I have direct deposit setup and I don't get paid early like they claim you can't get cash advances with any other apps to link a card with they don't accept it! only positive thing I can say is that it will link with cash app. As far as being accepted as a checking account the card is not accepted for ALL advanced payday loan apps.Dont bother with this.
