Turbo VPN – Unlimited Free VPN

I have downloaded and tried virtually every free version of VPN software released over the last 20 years. This app stands alone in the crowded world of vpn, simply outstanding in all aspects. I'm an IT Support Tech so please trust me when I say the free version has ONE advertisement imeadiatly after connection which lasts for FIVE seconds! You then close the ad and will never be bothered again whilst connected. The speed of the connection is always excellent.

The app used to be ok years ago. But now it displays 2-3 instances of it's own promotion on launch, and an ad after connecting to server. Also an ad, when you open it from background, an ad when you try to disconnect and another one after you disconnect. Most of free servers are unavailable, and you cannot connect to them, you can only connect to the server chosen by default, and the speed is too slow even to just open simple pages. On top of this, it completely stops working after few minutes

The connection is fast, but for a very short time in the free version After I wrote this review the connection became very weak all of a sudden, impossible to use. And I had to break through so many adds to disconnect. Updating my previous review: today the connection was much better, for about 20 minutes it was excellent! And the adds were not annoying! Thank you very much for resolving the issues! Looking forward to more improvements

Used it for search and downloads for several years now. After connecting, ads stop, not sure why people complain, ads are only appearing during initial connection or change of servers. The service is free and works like a charm. The only thing this VPN is not so stable for is streaming. Depends on what you want from a free VPN, I'm happy with it. Thank you.

Used to be a lot better. Now, it won't even let me disconnect without watching an ad, and worst is that the ads don't close when you press the X. I don't think i can use this anymore. If youve wanted an app that will allow you to watch advertisement videos, this is the perfect app for you because it won't let you STOP watching them.

Another good app, now flooded with ads. Just to disconnect you are forced to watch a dozen ads. And the lil cross button keeps shifting places in each add. It's super annoying just figuring out how to close an ad when it's done playing. But sure, the app itself mostly works awesome.

It's good....only for the first hour. After that no matter what server you choose, it'll always limit the connection speed at 50kbps. You have to wait few hours or until the next day for it to work properly again and the process repeat. I've been using this free VPN for a few years now and that's always the case no matter what version it is. Well it is free afterall....

Do NOT use this app for STREAMING. In the free version you are bombarded with adverts and extremely slow speeds. I upgraded to the premium version only to find that the VPN addresses on the servers are blocked by the streaming services deeming it completely USELESS and UNUSABLE! I tried to obtain a refund after a few minutes only to be told that that was not possible. £51.99 down the drain for a completely USELESS app. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Ads being forced down your throat endlessly on the free version is quite annoying, the premium version seems reasonably priced but it shouldn't be so artificially appealing due to the incessant advertising. I understand that people need to make money but the sheer volume, speed, and frequency of ads would tire anyone. Apart from that, the geolocating for the servers has noticeably improved in the last six months as I'm getting connected less to America and more to Britain- I'm from the UK.

So far so good. Any problems I'll lower rating. I just chose different server due to internet slow. I'll see if will make difference. I enjoy the cool rabbit sprinting animation to pass the secondsŕ away for a Not so superfast connection.

Paid subscription; $17.99/m for premium subscription. You still see ads, auto DISCONNECTS in auto connect mode. What a wastage of money. Use any vpn service provider (paid or unpaid) but Turbo vpn. Although got 7 days free trial but cancelled after a few hours of trial. A very annoying app. Wish I could give them 0 🌟

One of the easiest to use and set-up, VPNs (free) that are out there and available. SHAMEFULLY the ads are a pain and should be reconsidered on some level which, otherwise just use a paid service such as Nord as it's one of the best paid services around and you can sleep better at night with that protection.

I did cancel the ap and request a refund within the time. I was told to go to Google to cancel and they are telling me that it cannot be cancelled awful service. When someone is telling you something was purchased in error. They did not intend to pay the 52.99 for the item and it was potentially due to confusion over advertising etc you would think in order to do best by your customer you would return the money. I have no use for the service. And 52.99 is too much to waste

Connection speeds are pretty good, but the adds are crazy, It is actually quicker to restart your phone than open the APP to turn the vpn off. Ad when you open the app, ad when you start vpn, another ad when you open the app to close it, another ad when you close it. And they are full 30+ second ads. It's too much.

Video streaming speed is very poor always need to disconnect vpn and close app then what is use of this app ? if we try to reconnect app in video streaming again then video paused automatically , dont be bla bla excuse that check internet speed my speed is very good here only problem is in this app .

Slows internet down! I tried several different servers in different countries. Download speed is only 8% compared to when it's disconnected. Upload speed with this app is ¾ of the speed without. Full of disgusting ads - every time you click on something it plays at least one ad first.

They'll try to tell you to update so as to cover for the fact that their app is mostly useless. The app is fast for a few hundred mb, and then throttles you right down. And then it uses its own incompetence to push advertisements at you as you hunt for decently fast servers within the app. Usually the result of all of this is that the link of what you're trying to download ends up expired.

Nice app and easy to use. But I'd suggest you add an option to keep the app running in the background so if I accidently close the app, the VPN won't shut down. Also maybe an option to start on turning on the phone, so the VPN connects automatically without having to remember.

I'm very frustrated at the fact that I just paid 40 bucks for a vpn that can't even stay connected for more then 30 minutes without disconnecting. I'm also tired of seeing those stupid popups asking me to upgrade to platinum every freaking time I connect! I'm about ready to cancel and have my yearly subscription refunded and just use Ipvanish instead! I didn't pay for disconnects and ads!! If it keeps disconnecting I will without fail refund my purchase. The disconnects makes this useless!

I've used this vpn for quite a long time since it's the best one I've ever found. but the latest update made it that non-premium users have a 10 minute time limits, which I really don't like. it's like we're forced to subscribe to premium. I'm sorry but I'm deleting this app since I can't keep reconnecting every 10 minutes.

It's a very good and easy to use app, I never had a problem with it or been let down. It worked every single time. Also the other bits and bobs of it quiet entertaining. Overall I recommend it.

I can't login to my account in web , it says connection time out error ! Customer support team won't address any issue seriously , they never really help us in solving any issues, customer support takes too much time to understand simple issues also . Very less number of servers available in app . Netflix servers won't work .so it's not value for money . Free VPN is good .but premium subscription is definitely not at all worth !

Only issue thus far is that it rarely connects the first time and have to wait out the connecting animation process to try again. 2nd attempt always works within seconds.

I use Turbo VPN on chromebook as its one of the only vpns that work on chrome os. I recently updated the app and from what I can tell you dont have to watch an ad if the conection fails which is nice. The free vpn is slow but it is usable just not for gaming or watching live streams. One thing that I have noticed is the conection will fail like 6 times before it conects wich is tedius.

it works, servers are enough to crank up decent speed. buut since recent events you need to view ads to get some time on it. ok i get it, but times real short and you get ads literaly on every tap, quite annoying. too lazy to do better than this, so 4* and ty for helping out!

I was unable to find Indian servers but this app has it. Not difficult to use, but there are ads. Also, if you are using a free vpn, you are bound to get ads. So, it's actually a good app.
