You have to confirm you want to off your screen every time. It might be nice for some user but I was looking for a one tap solution and this is not parametrable. Moreover it takes five megabytes of memory space while there is a smaller and one tap application available in the store if you look for it. Enjoy.
I tried another lock screen app and it didn't work because was unable to allow itself. This one pointed me directly to the setting, very easy to use. But when clicked it opens a screen and only from there I can click to lock. When I try to leave the screen, I need to click back 3 or 4 times so the screen closes. I'd rather have screen locked directly, and with a delay during which I can turn display back on without needing to pin unlock.
scam. the app asks to be reviewed before you even use it once. why? because it will be showing you ads every time you tap the button. I have used 100 times more complicated apps distributed without this sort of scamming. I found one that does a screen off on one tap, no ads, no purchases, no scams and looks nice (shiny black button with green lit off symbol).
Turns off screen OK, but will not allow turn on with finger print; requires typing password EVERY TIME. (TCL 10 5G, Android 10.) Also, it turns on admin privileges and you cannot uninstall without turning that off; thankfully the app setup procedure (the program, not the widget) allows you to turn off the administrative privileges.
It does not turn off the screen. It just displays ads on the screen. Scam. They asked me to look again. Still just shows ads. I have no control of the version the app store installs. Ad junk. I have no version now.
My power button stoped working and downloaded this app so I could close my phone. Works super easy! I have a phone that allows me to open using fingerprint so that is easy too. Recommend this app if you have a way to open phone without needing power button but can't close without it.
I need an app to shut off my screen when I tap it, not pop up an ad box and make me tap it a second time. I use these apps with a swipe gesture to turn off my screen on swipe up. Your design prevents this from working since I need a gesture to make sure the screen is off without looking.
Has some adverts on the otherwise nicely black screen that has the screen off button on it, but not obnoxious ones (as of yet) works every time so 4 out of 5 stars, understandable for a free simple app a little bit of ads needed "to make the wheels go round."
The app only allows for a two step process in order to turn off your screen. First you touch the app icon, then it opens only to show the same button but bigger along with an ad in your face. Useless garbage.
I thought it's a joke, but no, you really have to press 2 times to lock the screen (watching some ads on the way) and when unlocking with fingerprints AND pattern... The app will die soon if it's not changed.
my phone's power button completely stopped working after i dropped it. i was worried how i would begin to shut my phone off until i found this app. works perfectly. very simple, & straight to the point. easy to use. great app.
Doesn't have widget. Working by two steps: opening the app, pressing button to turn off the phone. After opening the phone, it being locked like after the reset - can't be opened only by finger or iris identification alone - need pattern or pin entering.
Not what I thought it was. It won't turn off your screen without first popping up a window which adds an additional step in turning off the screen....very annoying. Uninstalled!
It would be better if I can lock the phone by pressing the icon only, or if this has a widget that can do that. And it doesn't unlock my phone when using my fingerprint scanner, it only wakes up my phone when I use it and I have to draw the pattern to unlock it. In short, this app only added steps for me if I'm going to lock/unlock my phone.
Yes. It does screen off and lock. But when I unlock using my fingerprint sensor, I still have to give password everytime. This is irritating. Other than that, it's fine. But that's what the most irritating part

Just as it says. Simple to use. Faster and easier than pressing the power button. Suggestion: rather than require the user to press the button twice, just display your ad for five seconds and blank the screen.
Worthless. You have to hit the button, to get to an advertisement, to hit the button, to turn it off. Then it disables the fingerprint reader, so you have to use your pin to open your phone.
This app is a little irritating, when I open my phone by using fingerprint it still recuire Password. But I guess this much ok for me. cause my lock screen button is not working days ago, but this app saved me. Thank you Creater of this app.
Ok but not for me cuz you have to open the app to get into it then shut the screen off that is not convenient for me. It's easier to say Bixby turn off the screen
I guess I wanted screen off icon or widget like others do. This one opens app first, but then you have to click to turn off once the app opens. Uninstalled.
Can only turn screen off from inside the app. There isn't an option to have a floating icon. Too many ads. I understand having an ad here & there but not an ad in between each & every action.
Press the app icon doesn't turn the screen off. It brings you to a full screen app where you must press a button (with ads) to turn the screen off. There's better apps than this
I installed this garbage in the android radio of my car. The android radio for the vehicle doesn't have a screen on-off button so now I cannot enable the screen, no matter what I touch or press... I hope I don't have to make a factory reset due to this issue!
Does not work at all on my Oppo Reno4 5G. No matter what I do, the screen will still turn on whenever I put it in front of my face. I can turn the screen off but that's it - the app just doesn't work.
It is quite annoying that it doesn't have a widget on the home screen to press the button without opening the app.. but that way they can show you some ads :/
I will recommend not play this up a horny doesn't work washing doesn't work at all NASA never ever play this app never ever and not the start you can never install it it's always on your pad or your phone for life well to you like a new phone all new pad but yeah it never comes off you can never install it so be careful
Works fine. My only complaint is that there is a delay from when you press the button until the second screen with the second button is visible and pressable. There is usually only a blank screen displayed during this time. I think the delay is due to the ad being loaded. I don't mind the ad being displayed, it's part of a free app, but it seems that the ad could be cached so it is quickly displayed.
