There is a definite lack of open-source music players on android. The only other ones I can think of are Apollo and AOSP music. All this player needs is support for other tag formats and higher-res assets. Also, you might get some more traffic from the open-source addicts out there if you put the app on f-droid.

This is a cool app but not really for me, It played all my music files though! I like that i can dig in my music folder. I don't like the Interface and layout though, it makes me think everything is unorganized. I wish it had a genre feature as well.
