Update. I uninstalled back in 2018. I installed the app again hoping with the new updates this would be a better TV guide. Boy was I wrong. Moved my 2 stars to 1 , couldn't give it zero Don't bother with TV guide waist of time. Notifications on marked programs doesn't work.

remember a year ago when the TV Guide app was actually useful? Those days are over. A year in and this app is still a bloated mess. Having "favorites" is a thing of the past. You can add "hearts" to channels but that doesn't mean you won't see channels that you don't want to see, yes, they're still all there. Trying to filter your listings by hitting the "movies," "sports," or "news" tab? Yeah, that filter doesn't work either. You'll still see movies and sports when filtering for news, you'll still see news, sports, and tv programs when filtering for movies. My recommendation after a year of this, from a looooong time user/ex user? Roll it back to the old version of this app. PLEASE! It went from 5 stars to 1 star a year ago, and still stays at 1 star a year later. Sigh..

Its your lucky day! This does not even deserve 1 star. I started with TV Guide 40 years ago and you had real stupid updates on that too. But this takes the cake!!!! Yes i updated!!! No channel numbers! You took the numbers away!!!!! HELLO isnt that the whole point of TV Guide. If expect me to memorize 300 your out of your mind!!! And lately alot of the information is incorrect & The doest give the upper numbers anymore!!! Very Dissapointing!!!!! Would appreciate a response.

So after 4 months of working reasonably well,, it's broken AGAIN. Launched app tonight and Banner at top of listing tab says "couldn't open page you're looking for, reload the app and try again". uninstalled and reinstalled No improvement. Took untold minutes to establish login after reinstall (even told my zip code was invalid. Right) finally have login and establish provider. But listing grid is nada. Back to "couldn't open page..."

This app used to be somewhat reliable. I could open app and in a few seconds find what I wanted. After the 'upgrade' this app freezes up constantly and is now pretty much worthless. It was fine before, try to make it look new age and hip has ruined it. It's TV guide. I don't need all the bells and whistles, just what's on and when. So, thanks for ruining a perfectly good app for the sake of being hip. And if you have Nord VPN, nothing at all. I'm paying for security not a headache.

After finding the different icons I did a little bit of searching and found out how to setup your watchlist. The only thing I have trouble with is the 30 minute notice. I figured out how to do the rest of it but I really wish you could give the option to choose between 10 or30 minute notice. I have lot of shows I like to watch and they're all usually on the same night. So, a 10 minute notification for upcoming shows would be so helpful.

Totally worthless. There are no controls or settihgs visible. Don't waste your time with this app until it is replaced with the original. Deleted as a waste it space. 2-7-22 Worked marginally for a few months. Now it won't load past the start screen. Still a waste of space. 2-12-22 Surprise, just started working again. Still not as good as the original.

I got rid of this app when it was redesigned some months back to a bright and colorful mess with lots of bright colors but little content in terms of program information. At that time TV Guide asked for time to complete the transition. Well a few weeks ago, I downloaded it for another look.WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. It's full of a mish mash of colorful nothing. Sort of like zoo art when the elephant flings paint at a canvas. Lots of colors but no program info on most shows. FUBAR. Best to worst 👎👎

UI hasn't improved. The favorites/all channels defect (Support told me that set-up is intentional, so it's not a bug or glitch) still hasn't been fixed, and to top it off, content is grossly wrong. The listings TV Guide shows are either out-of-date, or not from official sources because they aren't matching in some cases.

One thing I LOVE is that this tv guide app allows you to select streaming TV options. THANK YOU! I do wish you could change the background color & or the font size. The background is black and some of the channel ID lettering is nearly black so it's hard to verify which channel. Just received a reply regarding my initial review, but they seem to completely overlooked my comment about wishing we could change the background color. Are they really interested in improving the app???

I don't like colors. The black background preve6you from seeing the channels. And this my first few minutes looking at it. Just downloaded it. Will come back later with more. Where are the local channels?? All these channels that are useless. And it is terrible searching you have to scroll that's it. The search thing at top you have to know the # you try 2,3,4,5,7,9 etc a d it doesn't know them can't find them. Totally useless app!!! Will be deleting.

The best feature of TV Guide WAS the watch list. The changes made last year make it very difficult to keep up with new programing. I constantly have to sift through old listings showing on streaming platforms and other channels. They often show as new, but are not new at all. I do not like TV Guide now. Most likely I will stop it soon.

Getting the Android robot icon instead of the TV Guide icon. It's OK for the included changes but I would rather look at the stations I can receive on the grid listings as well as only the stations I would prefer to watch. Furthermore, I didn't have any of the problems that these 1 star rating reviews are professing. Play instead of working at getting the app to do what you want it to do.

Changed it and now I can't get anywhere past adding cable, satellite or antenna. Takes me in circles and freezes. Uninstalling! After your response to me review: I uninstalled and reinstalled it twice before I left my original review. I have now uninstalled it for good. If you ever make it an actual channel line up like it used to be, let me know. Another update: decided to try again, agree emailing back and forth with you, it still does not work and I haven't gotten response to my last email.

It's decent but could use improvement. Should have the ability to eliminate ads by passing for the app. Watchlist should provide ways to better organize it and prioritize shows for those like Netflix that drop all at once or for shows that have finished their season. Also, today it is listing snowpeircer as being on for 3/21 when it is on tonight 3/28. It should have the data of the week and date before the shows that are on for that date, etc.

This used to be a good app. You have changed it and can't get any channels to come up. I have antenna and in the Charlotte broadcast area. I used to get them with no problems. Why can't you leave well enough alone? Well, not what it used to be. Decided to try it again so I re-downloaded it again. I want a list of what is coming on at all the channels and the times. Like it used to look in the newspaper. I have an antenna, don't do streaming and just like regular tv and some movies.

Great app to check what's on tv, well laid out, easy to use. No pop up ads as they are listed along with the tv listings, which does not interfere checking the list of what is on tv....very well done! I use it all the time & for a very long time now & never had issues with it.

I have this app, at first I loved it but they have added advertisements that are very distracting when scrolling for programs. I had previously given it 5 stars, but I had to reduce it to two stars because of the advertisements. I hope they fix this issue. We have enough ads on a daily basis on TV, please consider taking them out of TV guide.

It doesn't let me pick my favorite channels. It's also difficulty to find what's on. I grew up using TV GUIDE & I rather use it. I've found a very good listings. It's Called "TV listings USA". It was really easy to setup my networks & find what's on TV. I also didn't need to log in.

I absolutely love this app. IT IS IRREFUTABLY THE ONE & ONLY APP TO DOWNLOAD ON ANY DEVICE! In my opinion it is by far 100% UNDENIABLY THE VERY BEST television lineup app out there. TV Guide works fantastically it never buffers, never lags, nor does it ever freeze up. It has several useful functions including the option for it's users to create a mash up of your all the streaming services they subscribe to along side of their cable/satellite/antenna, plus it's simple & easy as pie to navigate.

Installed this evening, kept freezing up after entering my zip code. Uninstalled, reinstalled, was signed in, internet speed more than adequate. Uninstalled again. That was a waste of 30 minutes. Even their suckie website is leagues better than this app. Unbelievable apps that are riddled with bugs & simply don't work properly are still out there. If I remember correctly, I once installed the app a few years ago & uninstalled because it did not work properly. Live and learn.

Terrible! They obviously tried to upgrade and now does not work on older phones and on newer ones listing times don't scroll properly and they don't list all broadcast channels first. It's just random channels thrown everywhere. No clue what they did to this app but they should undo it. Go elsewhere.

I miss that in the old version of your app that the listing for a program would many times describe the actual episode instead of a general synopsis of the series. I also miss not being able to set alerts for programs that I watch. I also think the new version of the app is too cluttered. I preferred the simple version that just mainly told me the TV listings. I hope you can take this feedback into consideration in a future update.

Early 2021-Miss the ability to get notified about selected shows, descriptions episode coming on & ability to see what's coming on further in the future. Would give higher rating if these older qualities were still available. Update-Will Uninstall soon if it's not changed. Update-Do not like this upgrade! Uninstalling now. Update 01/02/22 - I have reinstalled the app & it is much better now. Having issues w/notifications tho. Contacted tv guide. Will update later.

Can't choose specific channels for listings, so might as well use the Dish guide. It certainly loads faster. Absolutely no reason to use this for OTA/Satellite/Cable listings. I live in the middle of nowhere so the streaming part is useless.

Poor upgrade, never works correctly on opening have to work to get date and data correct additional the app only works in portrait mode now. Update: 01/02/2022 7:30 PM. It is a good app if I want to see what is on a 1:00AM on 01/03/2022. Had to delete it and reinstall to get it to work correctly.

Wont show the actual tv listings. Just keeps asking for my zip code then when I hit continue makes me choose cable/sat/or antenna amd when I do that it loops me back to putting my zip code in. And I ONLY downloaded the app because the website wont let me put my zip in to find my local listings. So all in all it's now worthless to even use this tv guide amd I'm incredibly disappointed because I ALWAYS look up what's on using the website but I guess I have to find another way now.
